Dear diary, Week 5 completed and after a scare last week with magnesium deficiency, we were able to get it sorted and continue the mainlining. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 32: Gave a foliar of calmag water at 3.0ms 6.1ph during light off so it’s more gentle on the leaves followed by a regular feeding at 1.46ms 6.1ph. Still seeing some deteriorating continuing on lower leaves, so will get epsom salt tomorrow to really target magnesium and increase the calmag with 0.7ml/l in feeds going forward. ⏰ Day 33: Gave a foliar of epsom salt at 6.6g/liter(3.2EC 6.3ph)as lights went off but as I read more my ratios were off and I diluted the solution with 50% regular water. Regular feeding at 1.45ms 6.2ph was given at lights on. When inspecting the girls a few hours later they look a lot healthier already, so clearly magnesium was the issue. Will give them today to recover and if everything keeps looking good by tomorrow, I will do the next topping. If so I will have lost 5 days of progress due to the deficiency, but that’s the upside with photos I guess vs autos. ⏰ Day 34: Another foliar of epsom salt applied and feeding of 1.5l each at 1.56ms 5.8ph. A few hours later topping nr 2 done making it 4 tops each now and stripped the remaining growth. I did however leave the fan-leaves attached to the new top node and for W.C #1 I left another set of fan-leaves for an extra boost as she’s a bit behind. ⏰ Day 35: Did a quick check before lights off and they are praying and looking good considering the topping. Then I did a regular feeding at 1.56ms 5.5ph when lights went on. Still looking good and no continued signs of the magnesium issue. Lastly I removed the extra 2 fan-leaves I had left on WC #1 as her new tops are growing nicely and turned up the light slightly. ⏰ Day 36: Regular feeding at 1.56ms 5.6ph. Girls are looking healthy and enough has grown out that I can start tying down the 4 new mains. Will probably top them again in 1-2 days if everything progresses nicely. ⏰ Day 37: Foliar of epsom given just as lights turned off followed by regular feeding at 1.61ms 5.8ph when lights turned back on. ⏰ Day 38: Regular feeding at 1.61ms 5.9ph. Topping nr 3 was also done bringing it to 8 tops each and I will do the 4th and final topping as soon as the nodes have developed a bit more.

I think they are closer to done than I previously thought. All clear on trichomes though. Two more weeks?

Another good week. Watered them twice. I'm not planning on feeding them again. A little defoliation. I definitely think they are in the last 2 weeks before harvest. Still seeing some nutrient burn developing on the leaves. I don't think I watered enough through the whole grow! I'd love to hear opinions on this! Took some videos of the buds with an iPhone 12 at 6X magnification. Decent quality! Otherwise, still looking to successfully harvest these plants! Thinking about the next grow. Probably going to be Auto Strawberry Cheesecake and Auto Anesthesia. Peace!

Start of week 5. Expecting to flower at the end of this week. Hopefully. Added advanced nutes Cal mag and PH perfect micro grow bloom. 2ml/L on day 29 08/29/20. And again on 09/02/20 Auto speed bud is pretty much an experimental strain since its so fast. 65 days from sprout to harvest. 3 are looking really good. The other 3 not so much. We'll see what happens

1/29/2019 Late to update could not upload pics for some reason. Good week #1 is now 17.5" tall # 2 is 18.5" # 2 in the lead again. My temps were lower than usually cause I shut off red spectrum for pics,and been off for a week so reds back to 100% this week. Little budlets forming nicely. Starting to smell. Sorry only one pic this week can't seem to get pics uploaded,hope I figure it out for next week.Thank for stopping by. 1/30/2019 Ps. ok so everything has gone fantastic , no nutrient burns at all , and have been slowly creeping up the base nutrients , i have stopped the cal mag and now adding house and gardens bud XL at full strength these girls are now in full swing of flower and i bought a new ph stick this week , i have found when PHing the feed bucket that its best too have air stones in the bucket , add all nuts and then ph but do not use the feed that day as if you check the next day the ph is off again so i left it 24 hours after i add more ph down , and it seems too make the measurements alot easier and stable , i have bent down the main stems " without damaging them onto my netting too A keep the canopy all the same high so my lighting is covering all plants at the same distance and also it allowed the side stems too reach up too , i also was sponsored another new led light by kingbo this week so have added another 600watt led too the grow , so now have two 600's and one 900watt , and temps are still fine sitting at 24c lights on and 19-20 off , so am pleased with that , this lady is nice and compact and tight lots of leaves that I had too remove too open up her bud sites , stretch was also minimal ,

Tuned them to flower. New chiller still not here but with lower outside temps I'm.keeping system at a steady 18c 3 days of complete darkness. Hopefully it all turns out good..next time definalty going from seed and not clones

12/24/2021 So far only one male has been identified. Glad I just reviewed my video I didn't even notice how light green #3 is, guess I mix her nutes up separately and see if she just hungry? Or naturally lighter than others. All other plants are using coast of Maine mixed into soil (her too) so I'll give her a little mirimichi 901C this week and see what happens. 12/30/2021 Noticing that there is two distinct differences between these girls, color light green and dark green.#1,#3,#8 are light green and #2,#4,#5,#6,#7 Other than that there very much similar growth and node spacing, little differences but very happy with uniformity.Both light green and dark green maintained their magenta petiols, gonna make notes on stem rub notes next week and see how they will compare.

This is my first grow indoor, 2 plants in a tend 80 x 80 x 160 cm. Using a mix substract, in a 7 liters vase. Germination was done with the paper towel method. At the first week one of them was stagnated, so I forced up the seed and probably hurt a cotyledone.

This is a big week for the plants - planning on switching them into veg next week, so all nutrients, topping and mainlining should be completed this week. All nutrients stay the same and lights still at 60cm from the plants. I noted some stress on Chong’s leaves last week and so I also adjusted the water to 7l instead of 10l. Topped the plants on the first node of the mainline again and gentle LST. Day 32 update - Chong has lost a mainline stem. During the changing of the PH controller, one of the lines were pulled too tight and snapped off an entire stem. Going to try save the other half of the mainline and split it into 4 main cola’s.

Lil budds starts to appears everywhere this week :) I made a big defoliation and main lining on those plants I hope great quality smoke at the end. Next week I will start to put Booster in my mixture and up load it to 1.5liters per plant :)
