📆 Harvest Week, 19-25 August 2024 19-22 Aug - Observed and let the plant grow. 23-24 Aug - Flushed with RO water, turned lights down to 40% power. 25 Aug - Harvested the plant, began the curing process. 💚 Thank you Divine Seeds for this sponsored grow! 📑 The final week of flowering for Pablo Escobar! I gave her a good 71 days as recommended by the breeder. She grew using every one of them until the end. Another genetic hit by all means. A pleasure to grow. This is a sativa dominate variety so expect a longer flower time. You will be rewarded with thick dense buds, covered with resins and trichomes, with a sweet herb, earthy smell, nice and danky. Began the curing process in a climate controlled closet with a RH of 53% and temp of 71deg F. The main leaves are removed before the branches are hung upside down for 7-10 days for drying. From there the buds are removed from the branches, separated, and are trimmed to remove as much leaf as possible. Then placed in quart mason jars with a 62% Boveda TerpShield packet, burped daily for about a week or until 62% RH is maintained. Then labeled and placed in a cool, dark closet for long term storage for up to about 8 months or so. 🔥 Smoke Report: It took Pablo 10 days to slowly dry out. I cut all the buds off the branches and used my 19” Bud Trimmer for a quick finished product! I’m really impressed just how fast this trimmer works. It can take about 1/2oz or 14g at a time and with 4 or 5 turns of the handle it’s finished. Nice beautiful manicured buds in about 10 seconds. No more trim jail for me. As for the smoke. The taste definitely is the same as the smell. Lemony or citrus. The high is definitely that of a sativa. Comes on slow, then creeps up on you hard. Stays with you for a couple of hours, needing only a hit or two to recharge the high afterwards. No doubt this strain is very high in THC, and should be taken into account for the beginner. REVIEW - Runtz (fem., photo.) from Zamnesia: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ The seeds from Zamnesia germinated rapidly, rooted strongly, went wild in veg, and produced an ample amount of high-quality medicinal flower. The diary speaks for itself on that front so this space will be more of a phenotype review. The plants were labelled A, B, and C from left to right respectively in photos. A and B were the 'clasicaly-appearing' sativa-esque leaves while C was the more 'indica-appearing' phenotype. Although A and B appear the same qualitatively, they did produce substantially different amounts of flower (despite their DLI being near max out for the entire tent footprint without supplementing CO2, so I do not think just being in the middle attributed to this). Past their different yields, A and B also have vastly different profiles. A is a classic gelato/ice cream cooler/Z terps, and my personal favorite of the plants (wish I had taken a clone of this one instead). B is the most on point for what I think of with Runtz, classic Z terps but with a slight tropical/rotten/sweetness to it. C had the misfortune of being ready to chop a little earlier than the other girls so her profile is mostly just spicey kush now. I did observe intersex flower sites but given the entire context of the diary and how the plants performed, I have to assume it was user error. No pollination observed in any of the flowers, as zero additional intersex sites occurred. The distinction between A, B and C is what I would expect from a typical F1 cannabis seed. I do not enjoy growing from seed much but these girls were manageable. Add to that the relative stability of the genetics for a Runtz recreation, and well, these are good quality beans for a great price. Not only is Zamnesia responsive and available, their confidence speaks volumes. How many vendors would have an in-house Runtz, knowing how much of a genetic-gravity-well it is in, and be confident enough to let ~200 randos grow it and show it? REVIEW - Green Sensation from Plagron: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ I enjoyed using the green sensation, the NPK values on it make it versatile in application and a power-house in flower. I can't say I noticed anything better or dramatically improved, although comparing to Heavy 16 and asking for a marked improvement is big ask in my opinion. What I was able to do was seamlessly integrate the Green Sensation into my current routine. The additive stayed homogenous, was easily introduced into solutions with no adverse impact to the water contents or pH. Most importantly, the plants enjoyed the additive and it did accomplish the main goal of being able to wane off your primary line. In this respect, by using Green Sensation I was able to save resources by lowering my Heavy 16 inputs across the board approximately 50% and supplementing with Plagron's Green Sensation.

Entered diary of the month for the first time here on GD. It’s been a good run thanks to Ethos Genetics and Front Row AG Nutrients. Grow diaries has been kinds shitty lately. I’ve tried my best to upload as many good photos as possible. I know I grow a little differently than most here on grow diaries. Push the plants as hard as you can, lots of heat/humidity/co2 and high EC. My motto, if you’re gonna grow, harvest as much as you can with the space you have. Overall this was one of my best runs in a while. Deep orange and cream/cake smells and vigorous growth made this a great strain.

On day 1 I changed out my reservoir. I lowered my nutes to 650 ppm(25% reduction). I adjusted the PH down to 6.1. My left plant has some burnt tips from either PH shift or over fertilization. My hope is that the lower ppm will help to resolve the issue before it spreads. On day 2 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.3 to 5.9. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.0. I installed my new 200 watt HLG Rspec. I adjusted PPFD readings to 700-1300 PPFD on all tops. On day 4 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.8 to 6.2. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.4 to 6.0. I diluted my nutrients in my reservoir by removing one gallon of nutrients from the rez and and adding 2 gallons of straight tap water to the rez. This brought the nute concentration from 770 ppm to 540 ppm as the plants will be entering the ripening stage in a few days and they have too much nitrogen judging by the extremely dark green leaves and burnt leaf tips on some branches of the left side plant. The buds seem slightly smaller then my last run which may be due to an excess of nitrogen and maybe not enough light as some of my tops are taller then the others making proper PPFD challenging. All in all the girls are coming along nice and I look forward to the final weeks of flowering 😀 On day 6 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.9 to 6.2. I think I have halted the nute burn as I haven't seen it progressing any more on the leaves. I will continue to monitor closely during these final weeks. The trichome production is increasing with some trichs on top of colas starting to go cloudy. The pistils are turning brown with roughly 40-50% are turning brown all signs I'm getting closer to the harvest window 😆. I dimmed my light to give 600-1000 PPFD to tops. On day 7 I reduced my temps to 75 during the day and 68 at night. I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.6 to 6.1. My reservoirs ppm was too high so I diluted the rez with 2 gal of tap water. This brought it down to 480ppm. The average ppfd to all 14 tops is 604 with no top receiving more than 1000 ppfd

Did some defoliation this week also had some worm attacks one of the luxuries that comes with outdoor n they always seem to wait until the buds start to get pretty

Day 14: This week I'm increasing the humidity inside the tent with a wet towel and containers with water. I also removed the half bottles that were over the plants to generate extra humidity, because they got burned because of that, as you can see in the leaves, there are some brown snipes. Day 15: I added a towel and containers with water inside the tent to increase humidity, I managed to bring it up to 67% in some parts of the day. Day 16: I'm convinced Mario has thrips. I will add Potasium Soap in a couple days to kill any thrips possibility, and also add a moistmeter in the soil to know exactly if I'm overwatering or not. Day 18: Started with the feeding. Rizothonic + Vega at 25% of the recommended dosage. Added just 12ml of water on each plant. I don't want to overwater. Also added a new fan to the setup. Day 19: Added Potasium soap to the leaves during the dark hours. They look better already. Day 20: Added water + Solution of water with 25% nutrients I already created on day 18. I'm going reeeally slow with nutrients. D21: Forgot to make photos. Sprayed potasium soap solution at 2% over the plants, to avoid any pests.

After deciding to start this new growing journey, I chose to germinate a Banana Purple Punch seed from Fast Buds. This particular strain caught my attention with its unique characteristics, and I couldn't resist giving it a try. I began by using a hydrogen peroxide water solution to germinate the seed, which helps oxygenate the water and prevent harmful pathogens. After about 36 hours, the seed cracked open, revealing the first signs of life. With a taproot emerging, I carefully transplanted the sprouted seed into a 20L airpot, ensuring enough room for the roots to breathe and grow freely. This marks the beginning of an exciting new adventure, nurturing this intriguing strain to its full potential.🌱💚 _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ One of my cannabis seedlings unfortunately didn’t survive in the pot....😭 Now, I’m trying again with two more seeds of the same strain, but I’ve changed my approach. Once they've successfully sprouted, I transfer them into coco tablets. There, they’ll remain until they’ve developed healthy roots before being moved to their final growing environment. I’m hopeful that this method will help me handle the early phase of the cannabis plants more successfully, and I’m excited to see how things turn out.💚💚

🌸 Blütetag 59 / 📅 Gesamttag 119 🌡️ Klima Draußen merkt man inzwischen deutlich, dass Frühling ist. Im Zelt läuft das Klima weiterhin ruhig und stabil und die VPD-Werte bewegen sich konstant im grünen Bereich. Insgesamt also sehr ähnliche Bedingungen wie in der letzten Woche. 🌱 Pflanzenstatus Die Ziellinie kommt langsam in Sicht, auch wenn noch ein kleines Stück Strecke vor uns liegt. Die beiden Pflanzen zeigen inzwischen deutlich unterschiedliche Reifestadien. Die Triangle Sherbet Kush wirkt schon ziemlich weit: kaum noch neue weiße Härchen, stark angeschwollene Buds und insgesamt deutlich mehr Harzproduktion. Die White Gushers 33 arbeitet dagegen weiter an neuen Blüten. Besonders an den Tops sind noch frische Pistillen zu sehen und die Buds legen weiter an Masse zu. Interessant ist auch die Entwicklung innerhalb der Pflanze: Die drei höchsten und kräftigsten Triebe foxtailen leicht, während einige der tieferen Seitentriebe bereits weiter wirken und teilweise deutlich weniger weiße Härchen zeigen. 🌼 Blütenentwicklung / Reife Bei der Triangle Sherbet Kush zeigen sich inzwischen klare Reifezeichen. Unter dem Mikroskop sind bereits die ersten bernsteinfarbenen Trichome zu erkennen 🔬. Außerdem stehen einige Blätter bereits kanuartig nach oben, und die Pflanze beginnt sichtbar, Nährstoffe und Farbe aus den Blättern in die Blüten zu ziehen. Die White Gushers 33 verfärbt sich ebenfalls zunehmend, wirkt aber insgesamt noch etwas später im Reifeprozess. Hier sind die Trichome überwiegend milchig, teilweise noch nicht ganz trüb. 👃 Aroma Beim Öffnen des Zeltes entwickelt sich inzwischen eine schöne würzig-fruchtige Gesamtmelange. Die Triangle Sherbet Kush bringt zunächst klar die würzige Kush-Komponente mit. Wenn man die Buds leicht berührt, kommt aber deutlich die bananige Note 🍌 aus der Sherbet-Abstammung durch – also ebenfalls fruchtig, aber eher cremig-bananig als süß. Die White Gushers 33 geht aromatisch eher in eine gasigere Richtung ⛽, mit etwas Funk und Frucht darunter. Also keine Candy-Süße, sondern eher ein Mix aus Gas, leichter Frucht und einem kleinen funky Twist. 📊 Fazit Aktuell zeigt sich immer deutlicher, wie unterschiedlich sich die beiden Genetiken in der Endphase entwickeln. Die Triangle Sherbet Kush wirkt klar weiter und reifer, während die White Gushers 33 oben noch weiter Blüten nachschiebt, in den tieferen Bereichen aber teilweise schon erstaunlich weit ist. 🔭 Ausblick Rein vom Eindruck her könnte die Triangle Sherbet Kush bald fallen, während die White Gushers 33 vermutlich noch etwas mehr Zeit gebrauchen kann. Da eine Teilernte hier nicht ganz unkompliziert wäre, bekommen beide vorerst noch etwas Zeit. Mich würde aber interessieren, wie ihr das handhaben würdet: Würdet ihr in so einer Situation schon separat die Kush ernten oder beide Pflanzen noch zusammen stehen lassen? Und wie macht ihr das generell in der letzten Phase vor der Ernte – gebt ihr euren Pflanzen noch eine Trockenphase 🌵 oder Dunkelphase 🌑, oder lasst ihr alles einfach normal weiterlaufen? Auch spannend: Zu welcher Tageszeit erntet ihr am liebsten? ⏰ Bis nächste Woche – bleibt sauber und gesund! 🌿 🌸 Flower Day 59 / 📅 Day 119 Overall 🌡️ Climate Outside you can clearly feel that spring has arrived. Inside the tent the climate remains calm and stable and the VPD values stay consistently in the optimal range. Overall the conditions are very similar to last week. 🌱 Plant Status The finish line is slowly coming into view, even though there is still a little bit of track left. The two plants now clearly show different stages of maturity. The Triangle Sherbet Kush already looks quite far along: almost no new white pistils, heavily swollen buds and overall a lot more resin production. The White Gushers 33 on the other hand is still working on producing new flowers. Especially on the tops fresh pistils are still appearing and the buds continue to gain mass. An interesting observation inside the plant structure: The three tallest and strongest tops are slightly foxtailing, while some of the lower side branches actually seem further along and already show far fewer white pistils. 🌼 Flower Development / Ripeness The Triangle Sherbet Kush already shows clear signs of maturity. Under the microscope the first amber trichomes can already be spotted 🔬. Some leaves are also starting to canoe upwards, and the plant visibly begins to pull nutrients and color from the leaves into the buds. The White Gushers 33 is also starting to fade, but overall it still seems slightly behind in the ripening process. Here the trichomes are mostly milky, with a few still not fully cloudy yet. 👃 Aroma When opening the tent a nice spicy–fruity blend fills the air. The Triangle Sherbet Kush first presents a spicy kush profile, but when the buds are lightly touched a distinct banana note 🍌 from the Sherbet lineage becomes noticeable — fruity as well, but more creamy banana-like than sweet. The White Gushers 33 goes into a different direction aromatically. It leans more toward a gassy profile ⛽, with some funk and fruit underneath. So not candy sweet, but more a mix of gas, light fruit and a slight funky twist. 📊 Summary At this point it becomes increasingly clear how differently the two genetics behave in the final phase. The Triangle Sherbet Kush clearly appears more mature already, while the White Gushers 33 is still pushing new flowers on the tops, even though some lower parts already look surprisingly advanced. 🔭 Outlook From the current impression the Triangle Sherbet Kush might be ready quite soon, while the White Gushers 33 could probably use a bit more time. Since doing a partial harvest here would not be the easiest option, both plants will likely stay a little longer for now. I’d be curious how you guys would handle this situation: Would you already harvest the Kush separately, or leave both plants a bit longer and harvest them together? Also interested to hear how you approach the final phase before harvest. Do you give your plants a dry period 🌵 or a dark period 🌑, or do you simply let everything run normally until harvest? This cycle was all along a great pleasure. The plants developed MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED, the result under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED lamps from SANlight is FANTASTIC. I have NEVER harvested more from plants of the same strain under HPS and the quality of the bud (trichomes, taste aroma) is MUCH BETTER when grown under LED, my decision is definitely made, I will continue to solemnly grow with LED-lights in the future. I harvested 2250 gram of Shiva Skunk and 3009 gram of Serious Kush, that a total amount of 5259 gram. In relation to the 3000 Watts (incl. dimmed part!) power of the LED-lights thats an AMAZING 1,753 gram per Watt.

Day 78 19/07/24 Friday De-chlorinated tap water today, pH 6 with calmag 7.5ml to 5L water. Updated with short video. I'm waiting on the lime to finish so I can flip these. So this is last week of veg for her, seriously 🤣✌️💚 Great growth and recovery from last week's final topping and lollipop. Can't wait to flip, the smell she is starting to produce already as just the base plant is beautiful. Did all final topping this week on all tops 😁👌 Allowing recovery before flip Day 79 Transition week for flower (Flip Week) 20/07/24 Saturday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag today, she took 5L with 1L run off. Applied heavy LST as she won't fit in tent otherwise when finished!! Day 81 22/07/24 Monday Big feed today using the flower nutes now. De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 added nutrients. Checked pH again 6.2 after 20mins. I use advanced nutrients pH perfect for anyone asking. Noticed sex already, she is throwing out female pistils already 🤯 only flipped Friday 19/07/24. Smell is becoming more noticeable now. Glad she is now in the tent. Will update pictures tomorrow 😁✌️💚 Day 82 23/07/24 Tuesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today, 4L little run off. Heute um gepflanzt gab keine Probleme soweit, bin weiterhin gespannt wie sich anesia Seeds schlägt👌😁 Aber 100 von 100 keimqoute is schon mal bestens 👌😊 Diesmal 12 Pflanzen weniger mehr Platz und neue aufstellung mal sehen ob es am Ertrag was macht. 😊 Erde is Biobizz all mix also kein Dünger! Planted today there were no problems so far, I'm still curious how anesia Seeds will do👌😁 But 100 out of 100 germ rate is great 👌😊 This time 12 less plants more space and new setup let's see if it does anything to the yield. 😊 Soil is Biobizz all mix so no fertilizer!
