06/04/24. Going into week 5 flower. Not much to say here this week. Everything is pretty much same as last week. Seems like things are slow going. I feel like the buds aren’t doing much really and should be bigger. These are a longer going strain than my other so maybe that makes a difference. Maybe I’m just impatient. Guess we’ll see. Only thing aside from that I find concerning is #2 seems to have some pistils turning color. Seems way too early for that. I keep checking for hermie crap or pollen or something lol. If this was just its thing it seems like both plants would be doing it, but I guess you know what they say about assuming. Thanks for lookin & have a good week.

Week 1 - 01/01 to 01/08 2021 HUGE THANKS TO @MARSHYDROLED and @VIPARSPECTRALED! New surge protectors/heavy duty timers/the good cords. The Dark Devil by @Sweet_Seeds is right on track with the Red Poison and Purple Lemonade from my other diaries. The LSD is a little behind but the genetics seems to keep it small if you get the wrong pheno. Will give it a week or so for it to really settle in with a root base before cleaning out my 5gal RootPouch pots from the last grow and getting them transferred into their final homes. I have all my seedlings under the P1500 from Vipar as my veg light for the first few weeks to a month. It's SO nice to not have a blurple anymore, the light is way better in my room and on the eyes. The new diodes had every single seedling grow more in 6 hours than it did in the first 7 days under the blurp LED. The Dark Devil perked right up and threw another set of leaves in the first 6 hours under the new light. I noticed a bit of spotting on the Dark Devil in my other diary so I added some Hydrogen Peroxide to the spray bottle and it cleared up. All four have been getting constant spritzing from the spray bottle to keep humidity up. Excited to see how big i can get the autos under the new lights, will switch over from the Vipar to the Mars by end of week 2/mid week 3 once I transfer them and give them a day or so settle in. Buds are looking impressively big and thick. Looking forward to seeing to this one to the end. She has two more weeks to go. - 19 Feb nutrient solution changed - 19 Feb feeding schedule updated - Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 - Adjusting PH to 6.2 daily using GH up/down - Nutrient solution EC 2.2 at 57 degrees F - Light power at 75%, DLI 40 canopy coverage at 12hrs - Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. Day 15 - The new week meant a change of water, nutrients and an adjustment of lights. Chong is looking like a short, but sturdy little seedling with broad fan leaves and big roots. Max is 10cm vs. Chong at 7cm and her leaves are perky and the stem is thick. They both look good for their own individual reasons. Looking at the roots specifically, Chong seems to be facing similar problems as Cheech in the Cookies Gelato grow - the aeration in the bucket appears to have “dead zones” because of the colour the roots and the manner in which they are sticking together. I’ve adjusted the air stone to be more central in the bucket and cleaned the air tubes because the nutrients stick on the tubes. Other than that, I’ve controlled the PH back down to 6.0 after the addition of the nutrients using the Milwaukee PH controller and decided not to adjust the height of the lights because there was only about 2cm growth this week. Also added the first wire to give Chong a bit of a better bend in her stem, gently starting off the process of LST. Day 20 and the ladies are getting closer to topping. Both are showing clear third nodes with the fourth node opening up. I am sure we will be topping during this next week of veg.

Finally at the end of another grow, unfortunately it's the worst grow I've done!!! My heart just wasn't in this grow! It started out well until the flowering stage. Which was right around Christmas, super busy with other things, not maintaining them every day. Leaving them days at a time 4 to5 days before checking ph & ec! So they were constantly rising to high levels, went away a few days & had a watering line come loose flooding the tent & draining the reservoir so they had no water or nutrients for days. Pure laziness!

Week 3 has come and gone. I think the stretch is now over. I got roughly 8” of growth on top of my net. Hopefully all 8” fills up with nice bud. I counted over 150 top bud sites. Goal is the get at least 14 grams per bud site. The frost production on this plant is out of control. Week three and you can already see trichomes producing on the fan leaves. I have been having to take off close to 50-70 leaves a week in order to keep proper airflow. She is so packed in the net I'm afraid of low airflow once they start getting fat. Only downfall so far is this plant develops loads of leaf. Hopefully that stops during the bulking phase. I keep bumping the nutrients up and she is taking every bit of it. Currently at 2.8ec. She was drinking tons during the stretch but has now gone back to normal amounts. I’m reverting back to every other day watering since last water I got nearly 50% run off. So far the smell is exactly like you open a bag of fruity pebbles. It’s not quite there when you open the tent but once you rub some bud it’s undoubtedly fruity pebbles smell. Hopefully we start seeing the mass put on in the next few weeks. 1/3 of the way done with flower already and she has been doing great.

Plucked some lower leaves and the baby’s are doing great. They are all looking really happy even my little one that got attacked by a mite. Haven’t fed them yet but I might give them a little pick me up here soon ,but might wait and let them do there thing

Looking lovely for week 1 of flower

Everything is going well. It has been on a 18-6 light cycle for one week. I may have slowed it down by a couple of days by over watering one week ago. I haven't watered since. I gave it some time outside today as I don't have a fan yet for by veg set-up.

Wasn't able to top until day 26. Took 3 clones (max in IL is 5 plants over 5 inches) while topping. Will probably start working on another 3x3 tent this week. Day 28 I super-cropped the new main branches and trained down.

End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.

I f’d it from the start as it being my first grow😂 it’s tiny and the buds are small it’s been around 70+ days from seed I topped it way to early and was cutting any leaf off like a sausage but the mugs do look alright just not as dense as I would like but still got to flush yet so we’ll see!!

She is growing strong and healthy whith organic nutrients

Esto ya va cogiendo forma. Un aroma muy agradable choca en mi cara cada vez que abro el armario. Está empezando a resinar muy bien, aunque tengo la sensación de que aún puedo mejorar mucho en esta parte de la floración. El clima lo he tenido controlado sin complicaciones. Estos últimos días he tenido que activar el deshumidificador porque había mucha humedad fuera. Espero la próxima semana vaya engordando esas flores. A seguir cuidándolas cómo se merecen 💪

pH was important as expected and a bit of light burn later on in the grow but ultimately it was pretty smooth sailing. I used a very common nutrient (GHE) and not overly strong. Buds were thick, dense, and moderately pine smelling. The plant did not grow excessively tall thanks to LST, and the LST did not seem to have any ill effects at all. Foliage was thick, and I let it go for a very long time before doing any sort of defoliation. Even then it was modest and just to get light to the lower colas. Still in trimming mode and will continue to update :) Also, other plants in the house got spider mites. Not this one. Could have been that it was in hydro and others weren't but hard to say.

Well still on auto pilot for the most part. Giving her a daily feeding till run off of the nutes my other girls are using. Other than that I'm just checking on her daily. The main cola is big, fat and pretty dense. Not the hardest but everything considering I'm really happy. It's about the look anyway when it comes to cannabonsi plants. Finished the roll of butt wipe so that looks pretty cool. Hope to harvest next weekend but we will see. Thanks for following this has been a fun grow.

Here we are, ready, after a week of truly fruitful germination we have 20 beautiful plants all marked with the Z of Zamnesia. We have moved on to autoflowering, unlike many growers I have no prejudices about this type of plant, it is true that they are the easiest to make but it is also true that they have improved a lot in terms of flower quality and if once ease meant lower quality now even the most presumptuous old school flower children growers struggle to understand if a flower is autoflowering or a normal photoperiod plant. There are people who claim to recognize it by the flavor but then never succeed, it's funny how it works. I enjoy making them strip their heads with these magnificent new autoflowering. This one in particular is not brand new but it has always kept up with the times and has the strength of the name and the stability of the historic strains of Zamnesia this is nothing universal strains this is one of the spearheads of the house: Sticky Beast autoflowering. It's really a great plant already grown in the past by me and some of my friends have always loved it like crazy.
