So week 6 not much change getting frosty and fatten up. Having trouble with temps as winters on the way. But iv wrapped. My tent with double backed curtains. All the way round n it's helping a lot. 3 weeks n counting cud even be 4..dont want to chop to early n thay still have a little while to go. Happy growing peeps

Cropped Thursday evening, 3/4 days before necessary for complete maturation. Better to lose 2 ounces of weed now than having the plant destroyed by the storm later on. Yeld is below the expectations. Wet weight after 1 day fro crop (buds cleared of leaves) 2.91 lbs (1320 grams). This is caused partially by my pheno (pheno #1 sativa-like, low yield and high THC) and by some mistakes I've done: 1- position in the garden (too close to the sisters) 2- I haven't considered the change in the sun's trajectory and inclination from August onwards. 3- too much LTS (but I was obliged to keep plants short and bushy) 4- underwater (this is my fault, I always tend to keep plants on the verge of thirst. I dug up the roots and the plant actually needed a lot more water). Now she's gone I'm more relaxed and concerned on Special Kush #1, the next week crop and Pineapple Kush the October harvest. Without Royal Gorilla the smell around the home is reduced by 70%. Dry trimming. All buds have been washed before drying and will be dryed very very slowly in a strictly controlled environment. She's flowering fast and well. But she's late, I hate her. I really don't know what will remain of her after this storm. Wednesday after the rain/wind I've found 2 lateral branches broken.

She must survive tonight and the next three stormy days unscathed, I will protect her. Then it should be sunny for the rest of the week and I hope she can ripen for the weekend. She has huge buds, all over 20 centimeters, fat, completely submerged in resin, more than a pound of weed on the plant. Her scent reminds me hashish smell of my first trip to Amsterdam, 30 years ago. Guess the yeld, my friends ... and please cross Ur fingers for my girls.

In week 12 the humidity inside my HOMEBOX-tent is unfortunately still VERY HIGH (maximum of 73%). The combination of big buds and high humidity is BAD...I fear bud-rot. The 12 AK-47 plants from SERIOUS SEEDS continue to THRIVE! They all have a healthy green color and produce buds all over. All branches have formed HUGE colas at this point...its AMAZING to see how big the AK-47 can get. Every watering I add MILLS-nutrients following the feeding schedule of Mills from their website and the plants LOVE IT. The trichome production is INSANE, they are FROSTY AS HELL NOW! 😎 I cant wait to try this amazing smelling strain and see how good it works against my chronic back pain. The VERY STRONG aroma reminds me of Sandalwood end is THICK and HEAVY at this stage of flowering. The two SANlight Q5W-Gen.2 LED-lamps are doing an EXCELLENT job until now, the spectrum is PERFECT for cannabis. Both LEDs are dimmed to 100% now in week 8 of flowering, because FULL-POWER mode is needed for abundant flower production.I LOVE THOSE LEDs 😍 and I can only strongly recommend to every grower to give them a try!

This big lady has grown so so much this last week! She hit her preflower stretch and started flowering on me. She's doing great! I'm so glad I did a comparison with the large 7 gal pot. She does phenomenal in it! Did a little video of her today to show you the magnificent size of her and the many flowers sites that are starting to emerge.

During week 13 I stop giving any nutrients in order to FLUSH the plants. The 12 AK-47 plants from SERIOUS SEEDS are in their last week of flowering (=9th week) and have developed into huge little trees. The size of the colas is ASTOUNDING to me at this stage, bigger than anything I have seen on plants in 7 liter pots. Unfortunately I see first signs of bud-rot on some plants, therefore its time to soon harvest the plants. The humidity during the late stages of flowering has been much too high due to bad weather outside. The high humidity with the huge size of the buds are the perfect circumstances for bud-rot beginning to grow INSIDE the buds (it always starts at the stem and grows to the outside). I spot a yellow sugar leave on a top and pull it out, since I feel no resistance at all, I take a closer look and open up the bud carefully. I spot grey mold at the center of the bud growing out of the stem and want to start to cry...my worst fear has come true...BUD-ROT is inside my beautiful plants! The only thing to do now is to cut off any infected parts and finish the grow as quickly as possible. The SANlight Q5W-Gen.2 LED-lights are still in full-power mode and some plants now show signs of light-bleaching at the very top of the plants. This means the plants grow white new flowers instead of green ones. The plants look like they have small snow-caps on top of the plants...an AMAZING THING to see. This can be avoided by dimming the LEDs during the last week of flowering or by hanging the LEDs higher. The white parts of the bud have the same quality as the rest, therefore i dont mind a little light-bleaching. What makes my heart hurt is the parts with bud-rot. Since mold can cause cancer when burned and inhaled, it is of utmost importance to cut off any infected parts off the plants when they are harvested. This means I will get much less medicine that I hoped...😢 At least the quality will be GREAT, since the buds are glistening with trichomes now and they SMELL AMAZING. The aroma is heavy and thick and lightly sweet with hints of Sandalwood...simply DELICIOUS!

The competition is coming to an end and I did not have time to harvest, I want to wait another week, I will approximately get about 2 kg. I really liked this unforgettable experience of growing this variety)) There were no problems, except for a huge 3.5 meter growth)) The smell is on the whole area, I will soon enjoy sugar flowers))

Good morning all. Rather nice week with a correct stretch for each lady, except the Jamaican which, as usual, continues its slow growth in bonsai mode. A big thank you to PEV SEEDS who, graciously, agreed to send me a new seed so that I could try the adventure again with the Jamaican Lambsbread. (I will certainly have special attention towards her ...) So I decided to remove it from the flowering box to try to re-vegetation to try to save it and give it a new life as a mother .;) The wedding Cake clearly displays an Indica predominance, solid, bushy but with a reduced internodal distance. So I had to raise the pot by about thirty cm in order to obtain a homogeneous canopy and to be able to train it a little. Same principle for Thay Chocolate 2019 (heightened by 15cm) which, despite the long and thin very sativa leaves, seems to have started flowering more calmly. I took advantage of the departure of the Jamaican to also remove the 2 main branches. Sideral and Golden Goat, nothing to say, good growth. Ditto for Congo which continues to show us its superb genetics. I start to introduce a tear of green sensation but I limit the nitrogen because none is deficient. The Mars Hydro TS1000 works quite well but I think that for 1m2 it would be necessary to have 2. The flowering started slowly and the 150W Led are in my opinion the cause of this slowness. 300W would have been ideal. We will see later to fix this problem. The news of the week: The cold is here! big drop in temperature here for two days. Monday I install a small radiator to guarantee a warm and cozy cocoon for the girls. During week 9 the twelve AK-47 plants continue to thrive. All of them have a healthy green color and grow more and more flowers from top to bottom. The plants start to form HUGE colas and I am astounded by the speed of the new flower development. The trichome production is in full swing and the pants get stickier every day. I still feed them following the mills nutrient schedule and they seem to have all they could wish for. The SANlight Q5W-Gen.2 LED lamps are dimmed to 100% (=3 green lights on dimer ON) without the SUNRISE-FADE (=orange light on dimmer OFF) and are at a distance of 50 cm from the top of the plants. This ensures that the whole canopy gets the maximum of light.
