Welcome to week 3 of veg. They’ve been growing about 1” per day lately. I’m planning to SCROG these three girls with a portable scrog screen. Supplies arrive today and I’m anxious to test this. (Note that my portable scrog screen didn’t work, so I’m using a 2x4 stretch screen). So far the self watering feeders are working well. The reservoir ph does tend to climb, so I make regular adjustments by adding RO water to the nutrient mix and using ph down. The PPM of the nutrients is climbing too, so adding RO dilutes that. As an example, it had climbed from 925 ppm to 1080 ppm overnight. I diluted it back down to 880 ppm. Saturday: installed scrog net Sunday: checked reservoir ph (6.4) and ppm (970). Added ph down. Adjusted scrog net. Discoloration in leaves appears to be worsening. Waiting for a new dehumidifier to arrive. With all of the humidity that the fiber pots put off, I’m going to need a dehumidifier in flower. Monday: ran pipes for humidifier, heater and dehumidifier through a different tent outlet. I’m ready to start dehumidifying at flower flip. Removed humidifier since I won’t need it until after the harvest (I dry in my tent ideally). Topped off reservoir water with a heavy emphasis on CalMag. Reservoirs are at a ph of 6.0 and 750ppm. Lowered ppm due to start of burnt leaf tips on one plant. Wednesday. Lowered ph in reservoir from 6.4 to 6.1 with ph down and diluted nutrients. Lowered ppm from 780 to 700. Removed growth below the SCROG net. Adjusted lighting to a DLI of 35 which proved too intense for the plants, so I backed it down to 30 DLI. Thursday: wrapped up the week by giving them a foliar spray after lights went out. Feeding 5ml/g or CalMag and 30ml/g of Seaweed Extract. Topped off reservoirs using 6ml/g of micro, 9ml/g of Bloom, Seaweed and 2ml CalMag.

Flush is on! A gallon a day each of pH’ed tap water for the next week and a half to 2 weeks. Fall colors galore incoming! One is already going mad purple as I started it on the flush a bit earlier.

Hey guys! Thanks for stopping in to check out my babies! This is week 2 of flower (days 8-14). This week things really seemed to take off! 🔥 Plants were happy all week long and seemed to grow almost an 1” per day if not more. Buds are developing nicely, no smell yet but nice to see them stackin’. I cut out anything under the trellis that would end up being popcorn buds so the plants could focus on the main colas. Hoping I’ll just have to pull a few leaves here and there from now on. The New Floraflex drip system has been nice! 💯 It has made watering easier and more automated. Water distribution isn’t perfect but I’m sure they aren’t 100% level either. Plants should stop stretching after this next week and should start putting on some size! Stoked to see what these girls can do in week 3! Day by day break down: Day 8 Cut out some lower growth/ leaves blocking bud sites Day 9 Fed all 6 plants. PH: 6.11, PPM: 1136 Day 10 Plants look great. Let them do their thing. Day 12 Fed al 6 plants. PH: 6.05, PPM: 1264 Day 14 sitting at 29” tall right now. Not so stressed on height being be issue. Thinking they might be around 35-40” tall at the max. Stay tuned for next weeks post to see how much these ladies have thickened up!

Week 15 days 99-105 . I'm am flushing all plants with 1 gallon of filtered water each. I've reduced the light cycle from 18 to 14 hours to reduce heat stress. It may reduce yield as well based on comments I've read in other growers diaries. An oz per plant would be nice. Of course more would be better but an oz makes a pound of cannabutter. Reducing the light hours is reducing the purpleness in the stems of og kush and gorilla glue but Purple chill still has purple stems The Natrona sisters spend their nights in the garage where the temps are 10-15 degrees cooler than in the day temps in the tent. Night temps ranged this week between 63-66 with rh 51-76%. The high rhythm comes after a rain. During the day, I'm keeping the tent open while circulating 2 fans. Day Temps can reach 80 so it gets hot in there. flooded each plant with 1 gal of water. From here forward I will be flushing all plants with filtered water at 1 gal for each plant every other day. Monday, flushed with 1 gal of water. Starting this flush, I added ice to the top of the soil before watering. See photo. This is a stress technique used to force plant phenotype colors. I don't think it will work for mine as I over fed. While I have 3 different strains, they look the same with blue green dominance. Thursday, flushed with 1 gal of water. General comments" After putting the plants in the garage during the night, morning soil temperatures are within a degree of the night air temperature. This has been about 15 degrees cooler (50s) than the tent temperatures (75+). This week our weather has been unseasonably warm so the night temperatures have been 63-71 with Rh 51-70% Tent temps in the day 75-80 and RH 47-59%. fresh water 580ppm ph 6.2 i decided to go a bit lower in ppm as this is an autoflower stretch starts, there isnt much time left before flower maybe 1 week. i started counting “day 1” as when the seed popped open thats why it looks like this plant is 1 week behind day 40: little defoliation
