It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍
She has certainly been going through the beautiful stage of senescence and her fade is gorgeous. The purples and yellows coming out are great......covers up the brown spots😂😂 Her buds are densing this week as we work on bring down the humidity. Running in the mid 60’s for humidity late in flower is a different experience and one that takes some getting used to. Bring down further to low 50’s has really helped to bring out her frost as well. Kept the humidity high to form big buds......now lowering to make them more sticky👍👍
I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍
Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see how it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃

June 20/20 - Day 71
- Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0ph
- 8L given to get a good flush
- Runoff in pots already were 7.8pH and 485ppm.
- after 8L water runoff was 7.0pH and 370ppm.
- she is 29” tall and 30” wide.
- tricombs still mainly cloudy.....review again in couple of days.
June 21/20 - Day 72
- Dry out day
- buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐
- temps are nice outside so tent able to hold 75 degrees and 51% humidity.
June 22/20 - Day 73
- Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!!
- Given 2L watering.
- No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium.
- She will be ready soon. Thinking darkness on Wednesday and harvest on Saturday??
June 23/20 - Day 74
- 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!!
- not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can
- her tops are getting really pointy now and her leaves are very yellow.
- checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday.
June 24/20 - Day 75
- 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0
- Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture.
- drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole.

Mephisto has bread a very nice girl. She is big and sticky and grown very well considering the environment she has been given. Battling the high pH and still turning out as she has is awesome and much respect!!!! Great job Mephisto, can’t wait to run her again.......just so happens I have several more seeds of her😃👍

I moved the others into my now cleaned down 1.2m x 80cm under 660w hps to finish off.

Big durb is big bud good! Damn this girl is stacked!!! Immense buddage. Still short, but why am I complaining? Have you seen those buds??? Intense aroma of spicy clove, liquorice and a touch of haze. The colours are forever changing, the pistils darkening and twisting. Started the flush, she should be ready in 2 weeks! Love, the doctor

well she was awkward to grow at first she's a big feeder and needs some time to finish had some issues on wk 14 which caused her to take a lot longer than expected but she did recover not fully but still ok she grows and spreads well once settled and has some great potential will be running her again in coco as her taste is really nice and need to see the difference with no issues thanks to rqs once again for the opportunity to try this great strain and thanks to all who help comment like and follow it's very much appreciated happy growing guys

This strain is very heterozygous. 4 seeds were started. The 4 phenos were very different. I saved 2 of those phenos for my arsenal, which is quite exceptionnal. I ususally save just one pheno from a strain.
The Pheno #1 was mainly sativa (75%). Long branches. Lots of fluffy buds. The more resistant to mold, but it has to be with the fluffiness.
The taste was cheesy and spicy, which has nothing to see with the 3 other phenos. Not a single ressemblance with ak-47 parents as well.
It shares the musky undertones of the strain, but nothing else.
That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. Terpene profile was deceiving, just as the cannabinoid content.
The Pheno #2 has more indica in it (45% indica). robust and tall plant with dense heavy buds. No mold resistance at all. Biggest producer.
The taste was earthy and musky with hints of wood.

The Pheno #3 is my favorite one. It reminded me of the good old Ak-47, with her flowery/sweet/skunky smell and taste. Pure nostalgia!
Tall and quite robust plant with huge fluffy buds coated with trichomes. She grows pretty similar to Lemon Skunk if you know the reference. Great producer of top quality buds. So sticky! In my top 3 sativa for 2 years.
The aroma is very close to the old school Ak-47: sweet, flowery and skunky.
It tastes like sweet lemon on the inhale, with a sharp touch of spicy lavender and earth on the exhale.
IMO, that is the pheno we want to save from that heterozygous strain.
Backcrossing this one would be a very good idea.
The Pheno #4 is just as interesting as my favorite #3. The only issue with this one is about mold resistance.
Crazy compact and heavy budst! One of the most productive I’ve ever seen too. More traits of the Ak-47 in the aromatic profile, but nothing like the #3.
On the structure side, we can immediately recognize the sturdy and bushy structure of Ak-47.
THC content is very high too. I suspect the CBD content to be high as well.
The effect is a mood elevation, with good focus and a deep body relaxation; a bit similar to what White widow does.
The aroma is earthy and pungent. Very skunky and musky.
It tastes very sweet and earthy on the inhale, with hints of skunk on the exhale.
That pheno #4 expresses the best traits of the Ak-47 in its structure, while pheno #3 kept the aromatic profile.

Diese Woche habe ich mir etwas einfallen lassen damit ich nicht nur Photos hinterlasse sondern auch etwas über mein System erklären kann.
Letzte Woche Sonntag habe ich einige Plants getoppt und sie schauen soweit ganz gut aus. Ich hatte leider letzte Woche he ein Problem mit dem Root Juice von Advanced Nutrients die Nährlösung in den Tanks ist gekippt. Ich habe es erst am zweiten Tag gesehen und habe sofort alles geputzt und Wasser gewächselt. Danach wieder alles eingestellt und läuft.
Ph: 5.7
Ec : 0.9
Ich habe auch jeweils 20g Mineral Magic in die Nährlösung hinzugefügt und 1 Teelöffel davon um den Stil der Plants gemacht.

This week they did more stretching as you can see the one on the left is into and above the light! I can't believe this but I'll role with it! I slowly defoliate just a little here and there between watering and filling the humidifiers. They really like to eat! Also, something to note that is they love the humidity as well as the warmth. I had to clean the outside of their grow bags this week. To my surprise the roots are starting to come out the bag! I can't believe it but this is awesome! Now they'll die due to contact with the air, and in return get bigger to take in even more nutrients! As predicted they fell off because their little pieces are on the floor. Well I fed and watered them daily. Like normal whenever I fed them either nutrients or soil amendments I made sure to water the plants with plain pH balanced H2O the next day in order to flush them. Then I would do any soil amendments if needed. After that plain pH balanced H20 and then you could do another fertilizer nutrient for them. After that pH balanced H20 and then you return to the soil amendments if needed. That way every other day you're feeding soil then pH balanced H20 then nutrients then pH balanced H20. This will allow you to monitor pH imbalances, nutrient burn, or any subtle changes you need to make you can catch it before it happens hopefully!

Watering was done twice this week with 1.3 l each

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Coop Poop, Molasses, Feather Meal, and Soluble Kelp are ml/gallon of soil top dressed. Everything else listed in nutrients is ml/gallon of water fed to plants without checking the solution Ph.
Day 1 we had a high temperature of 87°F. We had over cast skies, some gusty wind, and rain. Luckily the thunderstorms missed us. The rain did water for me.
Day 2 we had a high temperature of 81°F. We had a break from the rain and I watered about 4-5 gallons per pot. Girls are still drinking heavy.
Day 3 we had a high temperature of 68°F. We had overcast skies and rain most of the day. I left the house in the morning and was out til the night. I came home and a thunderstorm had wrecked most of the garden.
Day 4 we had a high temperature of 72°F. The sun came out and it was super humid. I watered a few gallons as the pots and ground were still soaked.
Day 5 we had a high temperature of 78°F. Skies were mostly sunny and other than the powdery mildew thriving in the humid rainy weather these girls are looking and smelling very good.
Day 6 we had a high temperature of 70°F. Skies were mostly cloudy to partly cloudy. It's been very humid. I watered about 4-5 gallons.
Day 7 we had a high temperature of 70°. The chance of rain was 50%. We caught the rain again. It was off and on most of the day. It was misty when it wasn't raining. I fed the number 2 plant 80ml molasses poured on top of soil and let the rain wash it in.
Despite the major challenges with weather, this week was a success. These girls are really loud. They have a wonderful watermelon smell. One is straight watermelon funk. The other has a noticeable melon smell but the glue peppery, spicy, gassy smell is dominant. The powdery mildew has been the biggest challenge. This weather is just dominating my efforts to keep it sprayed off. The Ozarks make for a challenging outdoor environment.

Day 21 in flower and did a leaf stripping. Using gnatrol for fungus gnats which have exploded in population. Maybe not the two best strains for scrog. Blueberry doesn’t like to bend and death bubba is super leafy. But life goes on. See how she goes

Day 39-02/09/22 we back on track baby!!!! I’ve given each of these beautiful plants a liter of water today with biobizz grow/bloom/topmax and a tiny bit of calmag!!! Two of the plants are 30cm tall and the other one is about 35cm!
