It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry processπ
She has certainly been going through the beautiful stage of senescence and her fade is gorgeous. The purples and yellows coming out are great......covers up the brown spotsππ Her buds are densing this week as we work on bring down the humidity. Running in the mid 60βs for humidity late in flower is a different experience and one that takes some getting used to. Bring down further to low 50βs has really helped to bring out her frost as well. Kept the humidity high to form big buds......now lowering to make them more stickyππ
I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a weekβΉοΈ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oopsπ€¬π€¬π€¬ Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every runππ
Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16β hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see how it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get choppedππ

June 20/20 - Day 71
- Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0ph
- 8L given to get a good flush
- Runoff in pots already were 7.8pH and 485ppm.
- after 8L water runoff was 7.0pH and 370ppm.
- she is 29β tall and 30β wide.
- tricombs still mainly cloudy.....review again in couple of days.
June 21/20 - Day 72
- Dry out day
- buds are firming up......squeezed a coupleπ§
- temps are nice outside so tent able to hold 75 degrees and 51% humidity.
June 22/20 - Day 73
- Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!!
- Given 2L watering.
- No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium.
- She will be ready soon. Thinking darkness on Wednesday and harvest on Saturday??
June 23/20 - Day 74
- 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!!
- not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can
- her tops are getting really pointy now and her leaves are very yellow.
- checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday.
June 24/20 - Day 75
- 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0
- Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture.
- drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole.

Mephisto has bread a very nice girl. She is big and sticky and grown very well considering the environment she has been given. Battling the high pH and still turning out as she has is awesome and much respect!!!! Great job Mephisto, canβt wait to run her again.......just so happens I have several more seeds of herππ

What am explosive week!! Trio is looking great!! Increased ppms on two and lowered by 2% on the last girl as she is very sensitive. All three have had incredible root growth, ill take pictures next week. I added cal-Mag to their line up and increased the light intensity to 50% will stay here for the week and increase 5% each week. The pH has not been fluctuating like the last run, these girls like to stay around 5.8-6.5. The tent VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) has been holding stable in the green for the last 4 weeks, I am going to shift the environment over the next two weeks to the next stage of growth which is the late veg/ early flower.

Expecting a awesome top shelf smoke from this girl, smell is mid way, a lot less than other strains, so it make a good option to stealth, but not the best. Superb strain, will update on the effects after dry and fully cured, high is supposed to be mild and functional, this is my first medical strain with high CBD, super curious.

After drying till the stems almost snap, in a rack, I separed the flowers, weighted and jared for cure.
-B-Vape report.
Vaped with a Davinci IQ, about .5 from the uncurred buds, from 350f to 430f max temp.
Since the begging of the session you feel this is a special strain, taste is 5/5 vapor production is insane 5/5, and the effect as discribed by RQS, a stress killer that allows you to funcione normally, think it as a mild relaxant, is what i was looking for so super satisfyed!
As you increase the vaping temps you feel the effects stronger, basically is a good body sensation and head tranquility, no paranoia, no confusion, no psychoactive stone. The side effects i feel is the classic dry mouth, not too strong though.
-C-Joint smoke.
Nice and smooth it hits with a mild sensation, very relaxing, no couch lock, mental trip or anything, iβm certain is similar to canna-tonic some how, very enjoyable, sweet taste tones of citrus earthy and woody.
-D-Bong hit.
Not a fan of bongs, i feel vaping gives a better overall experience, though for the sake of the diary, i did a bong hit to check, filled a full bowl and hitted mutiple times, the smoke is smooth, no harshness, though is a bit more intense than smoking a joint.

Well guys, this concludes my diary, with this final update.
After two weeks cure, i feel is already cured for the most part, one more week and all the cruise part will be done, after that it continues but slowly. It was fun to grow, and top shelf smoke. Note that is not a recreative smoke, is functional and enjoyable, i feel that if you have a super strong strain you can dilute in to this one and have a more controlled high. Smoking, vaping in multiple temperatures and i could still function, work, speak on the phone and think clear.
Looking for a Stress Killer, high in CBD, that will melt your stress and concerns so you can go on with your duties and enjoy a nice smoke, give this strain a go, and let me know so i can follow your diary and know your opinion.

La temperatura que estuvo entre los 24-26 grados y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos.
En cuanto a las plantas las veo verde sano, estiraron bien y ensancharon bastante tambiΓ©n.
Se nota que los nutrientes de la marca Agrobeta hacen sus funciones.

First attempt LST tie down stems on Gelato 41. I decided to try lst on Gelato 41 since she charged out of the gate full force and was taller than the other sprouts.
From the side view, the node structure is very close. I thought since she was shooting up so quickly, there would be more space between them.
Week4 I was using thin wire pins for the last. I had to switch to 1/2 garden pins to hold down the stems. As you can see she is very short and bushy. The tight node
Structive is indicative of indica dominance. Lots of leaves. Looks like an afro hair do. Pic 5/24, 5/27, 6/2. Put mirrors under the canopy to add more light

6/26 took her out of the tent today and put her outside. She is one of my Afro girls. I See flowers today. 2 months after the seed popped the soil.
I thought she was an auto but maybe fast photo. I will say that she is very bushy. Because of the LST, she has an even canopy with at least 20 or more tops.
7/9 pics. She has acclimated to outside very well. It's hot and humid and we have had lots of rain. Her colas have shot up in bud formation. This plant has thin leaves.much different from most other strains I've grown

Both banners still going strong, both fairly pale in comparison to the other plants, I think it's the vigorous growth, need to up feed for them, more nitrogen required maybe or cal mag or both?
Day 38, found preflowers on the big banner in the middle
Day 39 cleaned up the lower half of the plants, removed a lot of growth, the dude that said banner has mad growth certainly wasn't joking ππ
Day 40 and 41, continued vigorous growth πͺ

Growing this again. And again. Humboldt have a gem with this strain. Tastes like tangerines with a happy, creative high which sets me up for the day. Biggest yielder of the 4 plants I grew in this harvest. My go-to morning smoke.

It's now over the end of week 13. These pictures are about 2 days past a week. So I will upload next step in about 5 days. Things are smelling great and nugs are getting dense. Colors are coming in purples on the fade, looks nice. Trichomes are milky on most but still some clear, not much amber. Will be waiting likely another week or 2 even to see what happens. So far these have been champs, honestly been a pleasure to work with. Though I think the plants might not agree! Even with the mishaps we got some good bud going and some great crystal coverage. Excited to see the drying and product. Cheers everyone, happy growing.

I'm highly impressed with the autopots so far. It's very unlikely that I would have given the plants as much water as they have taken up and they would have suffered, as I was out of town for 3 days and they went through over 10gal while I was gone. Closed the valve on the autopots Fri evening and started up a batch of tea (about 2 gal) with kelp, alfalfa, bat guano, worm castings and, of course, Real Growers Recharge. I'll let the tea bubble for at least 24 hours and then split it between all 4 girls on Sunday just after topdressing and just before lights off. Autopots will get turned on at this time too.
Everyone loved the change in light cycle and are starting to stretch nicely. Put up smaller squared trellis netting to spread out the bud sites as they continue to stretch. BBM1 is just a big, healthy girl and really think she's gonna give me a great harvest. BBM2 is filling out nicely and I think both the Cheese and Gruntz will need some tying down to keep the canopy as even as possible, even with the scrog. So anxious for the Blueberry smells to kick into gear.

I defoliated most of the purple stemmed fan leaves on day 19 of flower.
They are already filling in after just a few days.
I'm still feeding at 1000ppm with 20% run off.

Today everything below was cleaned and defoliated :-) .
A lot was removed because this time it was quite cramped in the tent and you don't lose your energy in the lowest shoots :-) .
This week it was poured twice with 1.2 l each.
Everything was checked and it looks like all trips are slowly but surely gone :-)

This plant is growing well, I transplanted them this week into 3 gallon pots from 1 gallon pots. Structure on this plant is pretty nice and visually pleasing to the eye lol.
