Journal de culture - Semaine 3 de croissance La plante a bien repris sa vigueur cette semaine, développant une belle masse racinaire, ce qui est très encourageant. Elle continue de se développer et je m’efforce de la maintenir la plus basse possible en utilisant des techniques de Low Stress Training. J’ai essayé le pinching, qui consiste à pincer légèrement les extrémités des branches pour les courber. Cela permet de rediriger les hormones de croissance vers les parties inférieures, ce qui maximise le développement des pousses. J’ai également effectué une légère défoliation en enlevant quelques grandes feuilles superflues. Pour le reste, je surveille principalement le pH. J’essaie de le maintenir autour de 5.8, mais avec les tampons présents dans les produits Terra Aquatica, il remonte régulièrement à 6.2. Je me demande si ce pH légèrement élevé pourrait être à l’origine d’un problème de coloration des feuilles, car la plante semble présenter une légère carence malgré la présence de tous les nutriments nécessaires. Je fais attention à ne pas ajouter trop d’acide afin de ne pas surcharger la solution nutritive. Globalement, la plante est en bonne santé et continue de bien évoluer. Je pense passer en floraison d’ici une ou deux semaines maximum. Étant donné qu’il s’agit d’une variété Jack Herer, qui a tendance à beaucoup s’étirer en floraison, je préfère la maintenir encore un peu en croissance pour travailler tranquillement avec les techniques de Low Stress Training et la défoliation. On verra son évolution la semaine prochaine ! 🇺🇸 Grow Diary - Week 3 of Veg The plant has regained its vigor this week, developing a strong root mass, which is great. It keeps growing, and I’m trying to keep it as low as possible using Low Stress Training techniques. I’ve been trying pinching, which involves lightly pinching the tips of the branches to bend them. This redirects the growth hormones to the lower parts, maximizing the development of new shoots. I’ve also done a bit of light defoliation by removing some large, unnecessary leaves. Other than that, I’m mainly monitoring the pH. I’m trying to keep it as close to 5.8 as possible, but the buffers in the Terra Aquatica products keep raising it to 6.2. I’m wondering if this slightly higher pH might be causing some discoloration on the leaves—it feels like a deficiency, even though all the necessary nutrients are present. I’m cautious about adding too much acid to avoid overloading the nutrient solution. Overall, the plant is healthy and continues to grow well. I’m thinking about switching to flowering in a week or two at most. Since this is a Jack Herer strain, which tends to stretch a lot during flowering, I want to keep it in veg a bit longer while working with Low Stress Training and defoliation. I think I was pHing wrong. My cheap digital meter isn't helping. Switching to drops shows that my run off is pH 4. I am currently doing a flush with 2 tablespoons per gallon of Hurculean Harvest pH'd to 8. Questions: 1) For the flush, do I just keep running water through all at once until the run off changes? 2) How do I save this plant? 3) When do I begin trimming? 4) How and what do I trim? 5) When do I begin Sog or Scrog training? 6) How do I flush and avoid root rot? 7) When do I switch to flowering? Grown from seed. Gold Leaf. Grow medium: Strawberry Fields. Initially germinated in Happy Frog. Light: MarsHydro 300W LED Grow Light Full Spectrum for Hydroponic Indoor Plants Growing Veg and Flower Pot: 5 gallon Smart Pot watering schedule: about every 4-7 days pH: runoff is 4. Food is pH 6. Great week so far :) will start some LST at the end of this week and be adding cal mag and some 1/4 strength bloom micro grow and then starting bud candy the following cycle :) Also have a nice little 3 leaf going ;p

Week 5!!.. she's starting to fill out but getting a little darker than I like so we cut Grow solution this week (keeping bloom nutes consistent), we removed a few top fans and readjusted her ties again..she got a few new roommates but she's a real wide plant but we're doing our best to keep her under direct light..will update with more photos midweek, thanks for reading friends!! 🐱

Ok the branches on this one were barely able to support the buds, while a good thing to have heavy buds give this Si from early veg to late flower to keep em strong. Lot of leaves but not a pain smells great but can be a little funky at times right after lights on.

📆 Semana 8 La Papayton de 42 Fast Buds entra en su tramo final mostrando una madurez impecable. Los cogollos ya están totalmente formados, duros y pesados, envueltos en una capa de resina gruesa que brilla incluso con poca luz. Los tonos grisáceos se oscurecen ligeramente y los matices rojizos ganan profundidad, señal de que el ciclo se está cerrando. El aroma tropical se vuelve más intenso y denso, con un perfil dulce y afrutado que ahora desprende un toque más profundo, casi de papaya madura. La planta ya no crece: solo refina tricomas y compacta sus flores. 🌸 Sigue firme, equilibrada y muy cerca del momento perfecto. ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

By the looks of the trichomes these are almost ready. Looking at the hairs though it looks like it could be a bit. We will see how things turn around in the next 2 days. Harvest is set for Saturday.

week 5 when the thrips first showed themselves. I noticed them cuz some silver stains started appearing on some leaves. you can see them better under LED light. So, I sprayed Neem Oil all over the plant. I could notice that if you don't do it well, spraying and rubbing the leaves with a piece of cloth, the oil will also create some stains. 2nd topping. killed some thrips this week, they're cute and didn't seem to harm the plant seriously. Neem oil worked fine to control them. No other pests that I could notice + Defoliation + LST Flowermind (4ml + 0.5g)

Still in veg, gonna flip this week .. so far so good , im going to give her a good defoliation, then flip ...I feel like she's gonna be a big girl... God bless and happy growing ✌️

WEEK 8 (DAY50-56) This week, my beloved Dos-si-dos have put on a good amount of bulk. Due to the very small pots in the SOG setup and the aggressive mainlining, the plants have taken on quite a bonsai-like appearance. The stretch is still ongoing, but I don't think it plays a major role here. Otherwise, all the plants have developed beautiful, even shoots that are already fully covered with young, delicate buds. The stems of the plants have already reached over 15mm in thickness, which I find quite impressive for their size. Essentially, one could say that Dos-si-dos grow quickly and in a very compact manner. Starting this week, I have supplemented the fertilization schedule with Green Sensation from Plagron, which I now use about once or twice a week. Additionally, I have adjusted my lamp upwards again. On average, I now have a light intensity of approximately 700 PPFD, which, over a 20-hour period, results in a DLI of around 55. I try to keep the humidity consistently below 60%. The next few weeks will be interesting with this strain. I believe the plants will ultimately look quite peculiar due to their small stature but productive growth. In this week they were beyond beyond ready for bigger pots so it was time to bring them to there new and final home in a super secret space that no one will ever find.. it’s a garage but We built a cool ass room in it lol ! Anyways the plants are healthy and ready for a new pot this is the transfer from rockwoool cubes into coco coir for the flowering phase. We use this method because of the taste you get from coco coir in your buds and the speedy growth you get from rockwool !
