From week 2 to 3 in flower the plant took off and almost shot itself into the light overnight. Upped the bloom nutrients to 36, interested to see how the plants handle it. I have maxed the height in the tent, reflector is on the top of the tent and the plants are 20 to 24cm away. Can't do much about the height so managing the heat between the bulb and plants.

Had no issues germinating with my setup. I have a grow mat with temp probe set to 78f and they popped within 24 hours. I'll begin a light feeding at 0.4EC and by the end of the week I'll have it up to 1.0 EC and a pH range of 5.9-6.2. I've drilled several holes in the bottom of the cup and repurposed the copper cloth mat from the Autopots setup. That keeps the roots from leaving the container and naturally pruning them *I hope* .... but either way this should be a lot of fun as this is my first time growing in such a small container! I hope the drain to waste style of fertigation holds up well in this scenario. Also, this strain is a promo strain which is a mix of Snowcaine and The Spice! which both have been on my watch list for a while now.

Day 36: Girls looking pretty happy. Still some discoloration going on. Doesn't look to be spreading though. Day 37: Ok, the girls obviously were not happy this morning. I watered with quite a good amount of runoff and measure the PPM at 3200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm surprised they are still alive! Had to make a quick run to get some water for a flush as I only have 5 gallons worth. Ran 2 gallons through each of them at a ph of 6.4 around 9:30 this morning. It's now 5pm and they have pulled through great. These OG Kush are extremely resilient. Day 38: The girls look way better today after flushing yesterday. Two of the pots were almost completely dry already. Went ahead and fed at 500ppm with runoff. Day 39: I think it's dialed in now. They are looking amazing and still stretching pretty good. Went ahead and pulled off a handful of leaves between the 5 of em. Day 40: Did a little more defoliation and opened them up a bit. I am super worried about getting any type of mold or any issues in particular for this first round. One of the girls needs a touch more but ran out of time. Girls are looking super healthy! 💪 Day 41: They are looking super awesome. Got the runoff dialed in. 750 going in and roughly 800 coming out. May up it in a week or so. Day 42: Nothing new to update. Girls still looking amazing. I think the stretch may be slowing just a tad.

Second week of overdrive , and getting ready to flush for next next week res has been topped up and diluted down the mixture to ensure no over feeding or blockages happening and also to encourage the purple n black colours to come through . More comments said on the video as well

Because they look a little hungry, I fed about a week early. Still using recharge every 7-ish days. Lowered PH of water to 6.0-6.1 Plants showing nitrogen deficiency.. No clue if they are under fed or PH issue? One of the Apple Strudel is showing purple buds. One isn’t. I’m not sure of the significance of purple buds, but pretty cool either way.

wow :) she is growing very fast :) the plans are for 5 weeks of vegetation and then I will change the time to 12/12 :) so far everything looks good, she is strong, healthy, and gives beautiful branches:).

She is a bit stressed. I just changed the solution on her yesterday. She was showing slight deficiency signs. So I just reset the nutrition solution. She bounce out of it soon. I have 2 fruity pebbles plant going in different nutrition. She has done a lot of stretching in last week as well. Well, that day has come, the girl would have been really different if not for the high temperature, strong light, and a huge lack of potassium :( well, everything will be fine next time :) live and learn :) I am satisfied with the result, which is what I need :) got 200 gr of liquid :) gathered a lot of sugar leaf :) they are already in the sweet shop :D I will make an addition!! good growth and success :)

Switched to flower on wednsday. Gave them one feeding of nutrients and then 1 feeding of plain water. I'm starting to see some yellowing so I backed the light off a bit and I'm gonna give it nutrients as soon as first drys a bit. Prolly just hungry cus they have grown alot!.

I love these last stages! The girls are still stretching but I decided to give them a defoliation a week early. If you look back on last week you can see how bushy they have gotten so there was a definite need to get some light to the lower bud sites. I can definitely start to smell the familiar gassy aroma coming through now so may be time to get the fan and carbon filter cranked up. I will be top amending the soil again at some point this coming week but as for now I have just been feeding with water and liquid seaweed. I've had a few compliments from friends on the good health of the plants this time round compared to previous grows when the Sour Diesels had nutrient issues, not helped by the Coco medium I was using. I'll be sticking to this choice of soil and organic nutrients with the results I'm getting so far! I mean, look at those pistils!! 😁 I love that I've had 93 views on this diary so far! one tank, the left side, went bad water... some kind of something in the water... some kinda growth or thingie.... so .... i went after the bad water tank hard... pulled it out... scrubbed the tank... scrubbed it all... the funny thing about this is.... these plants are both 50 days old.... haha.... i put em into a type of suspended animation .... lol they are just now starting to hook onto the solutions and are now both feeding.... the growth rate will increase exponentially over a short amount of time, now that they have both hooked onto the neut water and are growin roots thru the clay balls....... (look close at them, notice the first stage 3 leafs ? so u know what stage of growth, 3 leaf and 5 leaf and 7 leaf.... etc... so 50 days and u can clearly see the first stage 3 leafs... lol) (this probably has some major implications for growing food in space) 👍😎
