Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Transplant to bigger pots, from 1gal to 5gal

WEEK 7 - Day 51 - 05/21/20 Rickey Cricket is thriving in his little garbage can grow! 😵 The training has allowed the lower branches to reach up during the flower stretch and should get a fat little stocky bud-ball of a plant out of it. With the small amount of soil I can tell it's going to be a quick drinker. Nice and open now and need it for the small space of the grow. Learning a ton as I go. Started low stress training using rubberized wire poked down into the soil. Spent a lot of time just tucking the fan leaves down. I'm an idiot when it comes to watering. I dont think I'm getting enough down to the bottom of the pot, but dont want to over water. I'll just continue with what I'm doing.

Defoliated some leaves to let light in, chopped one down early as I run out of bud 🙄 it's good for less than 4 weeks flowering. Have them rice water starch again this week in with there food. A layer of frost is slowly forming 😎 hopefully they will fatten up nice and frost up really good to 🤞

First day went as expected. I put the paper towel in a small see-thru plastic container and put it on the table. With a bit of water and the seeds in side, the germination has now started! Day 2 no progression, moved the tray into my furnace room (pitch black and warm) Day 3 major progression. I got them out and started to prep the jiffy pellets. Shortly after I transferred the roughly half inch tarp roots with seeds into the jiffy pellets, root down, seed up, slightly covered with dirt. I soaked them in water (like a beginner i overwatered heavily knowing what I know now). I placed them back in the tray and put them at a window for light. (Note) the plan was to do outdoor so no light or tent was ordered at this point. Day 4-7 not much progression seeing as the clouds and rain showed up...

Day 57. Everything looking good, some look like their stretch is done, bud sites everywhere, fed them 1 L - 1.5 L of their solution. Using boost and terpinator. Day 58. Fed them Full with 20% runoff. They are starting to smell really good. Removed a lower branch on some of the plants since the light wasn't going to reach. Removed some fan leaves on some of the plants giving room for bud sites to get some light. Day 59. Looking real good, some still haven't stretched but have buds growing. I'm expecting them to stretch this week. I'm always giving them something to drink and they love it! *********** Day 60. So down to 8 plants. It sucks because one of the barney’s pinneaple chunk that hermied was a real beast with huge branches and buds, but tips of pistils were brown so probably would of had seeds even if i would of cut the balls as they grew. I saw some pistils on another plant that turned brown, Going to keep that one since it’s not hermie and just 2 pistils that are brown tipped. Fed them 1.5 L of solution each no runoff. Day 61. Looking good, buds growing nicely, long white hairs so i’m expecting big colas. All of them stretched except the 2 Diesel strain. Keeping light at 14-22inches from top of colas and humidity at 35-40%. Fed them 1 L -1.5 L solution each no runoff. Day 62. Defoliation, removed some fan leaves covering bud sites towards the middle of the lights. I make sure to not over do it and place the plants correctly for the bud sites to get direct light. I’m having a hard time with the 2 Diesel plants, they aren’t stretching and are slow on forming buds, they gave me a hard time through whole grow. Fed them All 1.5 - 2.5 L each of their solution with little or no runoff. Day 63. The 2 Diesel are starting to have their stretch. Everything looking good, buds are getting bigger and bigger. Making sure humidity is always under 45%. Keeping lights at 10-20inches from top of main colas. 40k-70k lux on the lights , updated with pictures. ***** Checked out plants and signs of hermies are showing, i see some male balls Both Barneys Pinneaple Chunk are showing signs of hermies ( balls growing ), going to remove both from tent and focus on the 8 other ones. What a terrible day ( day 59 )

She's developing very fast and looks very good,no problems at the moment,let's see how big she gets before flowering starts we're not very far away from that,I'm enjoying a lot growing her,she's an excellent genetic she's being fed just like every single plant that I grow full organically with mycorrizae by florians living organics bat guano by guanokalong,seaweed powder,lactobacillus microorganisms and love,peace guys ❤️💛💚🌱

Alert alarm we have a beast. The few friends who have seen her were amazed and with their eyes open, she is a real monster, in height and she is filling all the flowers very, very well along the entire length. There is a very wise friend from the early hours of ganja cultivation who always tells me that Bubble Gum is a security, he explains it with genetics now I don't remember very well why but I think he's right. You can admire it with your own eyes. The flowering is over we are just waiting for another bit of ripening of the flowers, a bit of red pistil and let's hope it gets a bit cold for the resin the spring arrives here with us. ~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2206 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/29- Here we go into Week One of Flower! It's been a month since these pretty ladies popped out of the ground and they're both looking perfect and have pistils popping out everywhere! Their fabric pots were still heavy when lifted, and they looked happy, so I skipped watering today and will check them tomorrow morning after the lights come on. Since being topped roughly a week ago, they have two new shoots that are emerging and looking extremely healthy with excellent vigor and have a beautiful healthy green color! The #1 is now at 9" tall and the #2 a bit shorter at 7". 12/31- Today was a 'dry day and all I did was refill the humidifier and some canopy maintenance, tucking shade leaves and gently bending branches. It's been a little over four weeks since they were planted in their amended medium and it's time to give their microbes a good feed so they can continue to provide them with all the macro and micro nutrients they need so, yesterday they got a good watering with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with GreenGro's Veg, Flower, Green Aminos, Natures Brix and Granular Myco added to it @ 1.5 tsp/g and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 73℉. 01/02- Today I watered them from the bottom with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann cal-mag to prevent any Cal-Mag issues they may encounter before they arrive. I also have the HLG 650R set 36" above canopy and it's set at 60% power which is being controlled by a Trolmaster HydroX controller. The tent environment is on point with temp's running 70 when the light's off and 74℉ with the light on. I'm keeping the RH at 55-60% right now but will drop it as flowering progresses. Finally, I've been keeping the VPD in the tent running 0.85 - 1.05 which I'm happy with! 01/04- They have both been doing really well getting watered every other day and yesterday they received 0.5g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner which was then ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉. They're both doing fantastic but were really beginning to get choked up with growth so I went in and selectively removed a few shade leaves from both to get some light penetration down into their canopies to give that lower growth some much needed light. While I was doing that I also did a little more LST on both to also increase light penetration. Well, there goes another week in our journey and I'm looking forward to the coming weeks as flowering gets cranked up! 😍👍 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! 11/03 - 2x2 (6 clones) 4x4 (11 clones) - 4x4 trimmed and ready for flip this week - 2x2 being trimmed this week and flipped same time as the 4x4 - Only clean water and carbo flush feeds for this week. Drip line emitter added to the 2x2 with a 5 gallon res - each pot has 2 lines. 11/07 - Heavy water flush - Prep for trim & flip - heavy defol - dropping net - clean water feeds till next week - both tents will be flipped at the same time. 11/09 - 4x4 - 2x2 clones running efficiently - Hard defol in the 4x4 - Hard defol for 2x2 coming - flipping both tents on Wed - Hard flush out this week - running high humidity for the next 2 or 3 weeks.
