What a beautiful strain Orange Hill Special is, nice and bushy, great internodal spacing, sturdy and healthy. Happier and happier with how this grow is going. The less beautiful parts on top are my doing, my blind as a bat FIM destroyed half the top of the plant. More patience next time... The super soil is still performing great and I´m pushing up the dimmer to get the ladies used to more light, very carefully because leaves are folding every time. Some of you might be happy to find my European recipe/shopping list for super soil. I tried to make it with widely offered products throughout Europe. Feel free to use it and elaborate on it. If one product is not available in your country, please check the brands at the bottom, which might be available in your country, and substitute. The only thing one could add to the recipe (which I did but forgot in the shopping list) is some Epsom salt. Fed them again with my permaculture tea, all seem to flourish and smells are starting to come from the plant, with that same distinct dankiness I had in earlier grows with this tea. See the germination page and other diaries for more info on my Perma tea. Now they were big enough, some might even say too big, to start the real training. I always love to give them a little bend the week before, to get used to the idea. With some sterilized bamboo sticks I pushed the plants down to expose their sexy undersides. Harvest time! Finally! Super happy with this grow! I'll update harvest with pics of jarred buds after it dried 💚 Last values were 200 ppm💚

8/25 put in closet for 48 hrs of darkness before harvest 8/28 actually did almost 3 days of darkness but started trimming and chopping. Getting ready to hang. Day 1. 8/29: 72°F and 50% humidity. Still wet. Even the small buds Day 2. 8/30: 70°F and 47% humidity Day 3. 8/31: 70°F and 52% humidity. Looking more dry than id prefer after 3 days of drying. But the conditions arent exactly ideal. Day 4. 9/1: 70°F and 49% humidity. Humidity dropped which sucks! Day 5. 9/2: 75°F and 37 humidity. Temperatures rose and humidity dropped a lot. Buds are super crispy. Im gonna let them go another day. Day 6. 9/3: time to jar the buds for curing. Dry weight is 43 grams

Flushed with PH'd water (4.5L) to bring EC run off from 2.2 down to 1.9. Time for another retuck! This should be the last veg mix before transfering Cindy to the flower tent 😎 UPDATE: Timelapse added for this week.

Day 35- Did a really good watering today. I added a tablespoon of blackstrap per gal of water. Will see how she looks in the AM. Also been doing a little defoliation here and there. Will take more pictures tomorrow. Day 36- Took my tent out of the closet in my spare room. I wanted to be more discreet but it was too hard to work out of so I took it out. Really loving the new set up though! The girls DEFINITELY enjoyed the watering yesterday. Waiting on nutes for a bit longer since I'm using FFOF. So just water and blackstrap for now.

This week seems to have gone fine no major problems to document. Girls are growing strong. Wouldn’t say it been a speedy process going into flowering but I have done some extensive training so that could be the reason for slower growth. Going to leave them alone now let them do there thing this next coming week

We are true fans of what we do. We call ourselves growers with dignity. Back in 2023, we kept growing indoors even when there was no electricity for months and power was only available for a few hours a day. We used generators, and when they broke down during winter, so our beauties wouldn’t freeze, we heated water over open fires, filled plastic bottles with it, and used them to keep the temperature stable until we could repair the old generator or buy a new one. We did all of this within just a few hours, over and over again. But what happened this year, just one day ago, was something truly horrifying. I posted the video here showing how it happened and how lucky I was to survive. We are not giving up, and we are trying to stay strong even though it is incredibly hard. Even now, after everything that happened, we are still trying to save the plants. They were ripped out by the roots and wilted badly, but they are photoperiod plants, and we still hope they can recover. I uploaded the video of what happened — you can watch it in the diary. Hello,,, semaine 1 de floraison. Les plantes se portent plutôt bien. Elles semblent vigoureuses. Le stretch a bien commencé, elles ont poussées de plus de 10cm cette semaine. Le remplissage du scrog est bien répartie même si il reste quelques imperfections😅. J’ai aussi augmenté un peu l’ex, je suis à 1.6/1.7 maintenant,, J’interviendrais probablement sur les plantes une dernière fois après le stretch fini, pour enlever ce qui ne donnera pas de belles buds. Voilà pour cette semaine... Happy grow...😎

[1.472 EC] previous irrigation: D:55 ——————————————————————————— This past week I had to change the light cycle making the grow run at night instead of daytime since it’s summer and heat is an issue : temps stay around 28-29c consistently with rh levels ranging between 55-62% ; I hope some terps will stay in tact ? Lights are set to run at 60% 270 watts (780 PAR at the top) instead of the usual 337.5w. The branches have also started sagging so to remedy that I’ve tied them upwards this way the buds also get extra PAR which should help increase gains further 📈 The past 2 fertigations I’ve also included a tsp of organic molasses for the microbial life; since I’m running a hybrid approach “synganic” 👍 Also once again my pH meter broke which leaves me with pH test strips ; they’re usually good enough to get by ✌️
