Overall, we are very pleased with the end result of this grow! For the harvesting process itself - once the trichomes on the buds were milky white (see zoomed in photo above), we cut down the branches and hung to dry in the tent. The light was on in the photo to display the hanging to dry method, but the lights were turned off for the duration of the drying process. On the first day the buds were hanging, all large fan leaves were trimmed. Over the course of the next week, day by day, more leaves were trimmed. After 8/9 days of drying, the buds were ready to move into the curing stage (the test for this: the skinny branches would snap when bent, and the thicker branches were near snapping when bent). On day 9, buds were cut from the branches, trimming off the final accessible leaves, without damaging the trichomes, and placed in glass jars with dehumidifier pouches to begin the curing process. For the first 7 days, the jars were opened (burped) for 10 minutes twice daily. After the first week, burping was reduced to once a day and then every few days. Strain first tested after 10 days of curing, but cured for a total of 4 for optimal results. Citrusy flavor, excellent sativa for mellow productivity and a mood boost. Now that I have my first grow under my belt, it's time to move onto the next!

Here we go for the first session. Hope it will be as easy as the first one was... finger crossed ! As I love sativas strains, Chocolate Haze seems a perfect choice to me. The grow tent in tall (2m) so the girls can grow till 1.6m more or less. With some training and topping, it should be ok. Germination day 5 : 2/3. I decided to put a 4th Chocolate seed. If it germinates, it will be just 5 days younger. Nothing I can't deal with ! If it doesn't, never mind. Let's give it a try ! Germination day 9 : 4/4 ! Now it means that I have to deal with 7 pure sativas in 1m2…. I love chalenges 😁😅 Germination day 12 : The litle girls are growing gently. The second pair of leaves is coming, and I thing I'll turn diary into "week 1" on saturday with their first repotting. The 4th Chocolate haze is a bit small for repotting as she's 5 days late compared to the others. But, she grows fast and strong (maybe faster than the 3 others) and I think she'll make it ! We'll see.

Hi Topman! ...and 2 weeks passed as 1 - the pre-flowering was 10 days and now the 4-5th day of flowering! I think she will let her brothers shit!!

She is going verry nice... Big Seedbank can be proud they got some nice seeds... dispite the bad quality of the air.. really fully flowering.. I have increaed the feed... hope it all goes good... fingers crossed 👍

It's start the 10th week, I think it will the last week and after I will harvest it. Buds have a very good density and smell is amazing. The cage is very usefull I don't notice any other attack in both plants.👌

@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. She drinks a lot and drives all her energy to the buds, they are getting really huge 😎 I noticed some slight foxtailing on the upper colas but this is probably due to my QB being too close so I'll dim the driver down to 75% to end the flowering cycle of this GoldBarKush because I have no more vertical space left. A lo que se suma altas temperaturas en mi zona, han tenido 28 ºC durante las horas de luz... Las hojas inferiores se encuentran caidas y alguna quebradiza... Le hago un riego con 750 ml H2O EC 0,45 a ver si se recuperan.... 13.4. - Slowly switching to bloom ferts. Also added Bud Candy to the mix. I had to defoliate a bit more as the humidity is raising during the night, even with dehumidifier. Watered 💧 15.4. - Seems like plants like the new mix. 4 of 7 plants already in flower. Jack even started to form the first buds. Watered 💧 17.4. - Plants look nice, buds are forming and each day I find more. Unfortunately, one plant (Gorilla) is probably some bad pheno and has a lot of thin leaves.
