Week 8 of flower. Started tot flush. The end is near

Flowering has really taken off. Kolas are thickening up and smelling amazing... The plants are still a little short. I think I may have stunted them in veg, possibly by giving them some bloom nutrients too early. Was a recommendation from "Mr. Canuck's Grow" (not sure that it was a good one).... Brewing a fungal-dominated compost tea for flower rn, going to administer tomorrow and show the results next week... also trellis didn't make much difference with the uneven canopy, maybe I installed it too late 🤷‍♂️

I started cutting most of the fan leaves today. She looks good and I can see buds beginning to grow :) She really has giant fan leaves and massive stems... In case you're wondering: the scrogging net makes no sense at all since there was no space left to do anything with it :) It's just there for the other plants...

Not much of an update this week... went camping in the backwoods of Temagemi.... it was amazing :) I did a video update when I got back... it'll have to do.

She is doing really well and has grown her branches into a great shape. She has started to flower, and she will get some bloom nutes tomorrow. I had some bugs munching on the plants so I gave them a good spraying with Neem oil and Potassium soap. I´ll give them another shortly.

Humidity was 25-35% so the buds were smaller than they could have been but that’s winter for ya. Other than that the plants is amazing. Grew very fast in veg and the buds smell fruity/ oranges. Great sativa high that feels relaxing and stoney. Pretty powerful.

She’s looking much much happier in flowering! I’m not sure how but I’ve grown her bigger than she is rated for maximum height. The end of this week she was 60” or 152cm tall, her rated maximum height was 39” or 100cm so I’m a good 50% taller than rated!!

Grow diaries is cool but it kinda sucks.

12/09/2022 - 36 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 The first week of flowering my Orange Sherbet 🍨🍨🍨 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - This week I adjust the dose of nutrients to support flowering and added nutrients - flowering stimulators: Jungle Urban A: 0.5 ml Jungle Urban B: 1.5 ml Jungle Urban M: 1 ml Flower stimulators: Jungle Environ X: 1ml Advanced Nutrients - Bud Candy 2 ml Advanced Nutrients - Bud Ignitor 1 ml Advanced Nutrients - Big Bud 2ml Hesi Root Complex - 5ml - last week of adding this nutrient Atami - ATA Calmag - when growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and Atami is an excellent brand, I give the same as in vegetation: 0.5ml. Lights: I don't change Bloom light, I still use Mars Hydro TS1000 - 150w full spectrum, great light to use both in vegetation and flowering 💡💡 Training: LST: third attachment of all twigs where flowers are formed 🌸🌸 Defoliation: the first big defoliation took place in the middle of the week, I removed the large leaves at the bottom of the plants and those that shaded the flowers 🍃🌞 The little girl has only grown by 5 cm since last week, she is already putting all her strength into flowering. The pistils at the ends of the twigs already form white tufts 😊💓 I can smell a subtle scent of herbs and flowers, but very subtle indeed. What another great week!! The 5 Fastbud Wedding Cheesecake autos are looking great!! I started on veg feed this week on Monday , 1 tsp Rapid start , 1 tsp Calmag, 2 tsp micro , 3 tsp gro and 1 tsp of bloom, PH at 6.5 !! They are underneath my HLG Scorpion Rspec at 100%pwr , 49 inches to floor at Par 500-520 ! Loving it in their AC Infinity 3 gal pots ! Man this week has been taking forever, my theory is it will only get slower relative to harvest just because my excitement. I top dressed with about 2 inches of worm castings with an eyeballed mix of 2tbps of bone meal (3-14-0, bloom fert.), 1.5-2tbps of Gaia green all purp.(4-4-4, I don’t have an actual potassium fert. Like leingbenite So I use this), 3tbps of dr earth kelp meal (1-.05-2 has many different vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates) and 2tbps of mykos (for microbiology inoculation and nutrient uptake/upkeep). So I every time I water I have this old 2gallon water tin that I usually fill up about a quarter to half way full. Using this amount of water and the 5 gallon bucket of my soil mix makes my watering schedule once every 3 days (on average). I do use bottle nutrients but it’s mainly for the supplementing. For feeding I use 2-3ml to half a gallon for all bottle nutrients, I have never gone over, and I have never had deficiency’s that can hinder plant development. Deficiency's: PSA: Now if anyone happens to read and actually look at my plants please do look closely and maybe let me know if you see something that I have missed since I’m still very new. I noticed my plant was having a cal mag issue so that’s why I top dressed with worm castings, I also top dressed with about 3tbps of azomite (I feel using azomite it may help with all those unnoticeable deficiency’s that a new grower might miss). I’ve been noticing on some of the leaves the very tips are showing discoloring, since the color is still so vibrant mostly I can rule out nitrogen, phosphorus, Iron, manganese, and sulphuric. It’s still very early stage so I did an extremely light foliage feeding (in the dark to prevent UV damage) of 2ml of big bud, big bloom, and tiger bloom, mixed into half a liter of water, I then emptied the spray bottle and sprayed with tap water just to make sure there’s no nute burning. Today I fed the plant through water amendments with 3ml of big bud, 3ml of bud candy, 3ml of big bloom, and 2ml of tiger bloom;(my theory is hopefully the nutrient deficiency’s will go away) My soil mix is pretty basic. 40% coco, 10% perlite, 10% well composted chicken manure, 20% black gold compost, 20% worm castings. I’m not going to put the fertilizer amendment percentage to be honest I eye ball it but there’s a rough general measurements that I do.
