Hello Growmies, As we round up week 5 with our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, the growth has been nothing short of impressive. The choice to employ low-stress training (LST) rather than topping has paid dividends, with the plants responding well to the gentle guidance of their growth, seamlessly integrating into the SCROG setup. This method has allowed for an even canopy spread, optimal light penetration, and air flow, which is critical for the health of the plants and ultimately the yield. Observing the Watermelon Candy's development, we see a testament to our cultivation methods. The vibrant green leaves reaching skywards, the sturdy stems, and the strategic placement of each branch in the SCROG—every detail points towards a successful vegetative phase. In terms of environmental control, we've applied the lessons learned from our other strains, maintaining a stable and ideal VPD during the day with the Tent-X system. The nights, however, have brought forth the same challenges we've faced with other strains, showing fluctuations in VPD levels. The integration of the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is anticipated to solve this, and we are optimistic that this change will bring about the consistent conditions needed for the Watermelon Candy's continual thriving. Even with the small hiccup in the nighttime environmental control, the plants are flourishing. The robust health they exhibit is a sign they're ready for the flowering phase, and we expect nothing less than a bountiful harvest. And while we've experienced a bit of frustration with Secret Jardin and Mars Hydro for the integration challenges, we appreciate TrolMaster's efforts to assist. We are hopeful for a resolution soon, or we may revert to the reliable Prima Klima setup. Anthocyanin production significantly increases in plants experiencing nitrogen shortages. Low nitrogen conditions trigger the up-regulation of both structural and regulatory genes involved in the anthocyanin biosynthesis pathway. Carotene is a pigment responsible for the yellow and orange hues in leaves. Chlorophyll is the engine of photosynthesis, while carotene acts as a supporting system that expands the engine's fuel range and prevents it from overheating. Without carotene, the photosynthetic system would be far more susceptible to light damage, but without chlorophyll, the process of photosynthesis as we know it would not occur. Anthocyanin synthesis is a visible marker of a plant's response to unfavorable growth conditions, including low nitrogen, phosphorus deficiency, high light exposure, drought, and low temperature. Day one of week 4. Nutes (BioBizz Grow) 50% of recommended dose have gone in today, I will increase the dose to 1ml for the next watering in 2/3 days. Will introduce BioBizz Bloom next week if no Nutes burn this week. Will do some more LST training tomorrow after another full 18 hrs of sun.. UPDATE - 13th September: Day 2 of week 4, gave the girls a very little trim and some more LST today.. New growth coming through nicely.. UPDATE - 14th September: Day 3 of week 4, Nutes (BioBizz Grow) went in today at 1ml per litre. A little more LST and I finally topped the girls 😍.. Flush is on. A week or so I reckon. 90% of trichomes are already cloudy. The smell is so complex! The colors amazing! Can’t wait!

Giorno 77 Il ciclo è finito e il diario verrà aggiornato tra 40 giorni circa non appena i fiori avranno fatto una bella concia. Coltivarla è stato semplice e ci sono tantissimi fiorellini piccoli e molto duri. E' molto dolce ma non sento terpeni Zkittlez o Gelato. A presto con l'aggiornamento finale 🖐️ 😘❤️

Start of week 4. Week 3 went well, plant is nute hungry and leaves are a bit droopy, but buds are filling out nicely. She is getting sticky to the touch and she has a light sweet aroma.
