Day 28 Soil bone dry So gave them 1L, 2ml/L of each nutrients 800ppm 6.05 ph Had a lil bit off run off, just enough to do a test Ppm bit high on 2 im the 1200-1300ppm And on the other 2 around 1000 I think in 3 Day's i give the 2 just ph water and the other just a lil bit

First sights of trichomes on leafs (sugar leafs)! No issues she’s growing good just a few yellow leaves on gc2. Looked like she needed cal mag, chopped the yellowed leaves and put cal mag 6 ml. Usually give cal mag every other watering but ima give them more often since I’m using dechlorinated tap water.

Just cut up the lemon shining silver haze yesterday, first pics are from after i cut the wonder pie (from another diary) and i put one of my plants from outside there instead. Going to post more updates when i can actually smoke it!

This past week has been a blast! After getting these ladies nutrition straightened out, they are thriving!💚🌱💚 I gave defoliated wayyy more than what I see other growers traditionally doing. After the "3rd and final haircut" I defoliated two more times 😅 Thank you the GD community for the support and resources along the way 🙏 My only concern now is the tent actually becoming too crowded.😆. D43. The start of a new week, and not much to report. ------------------------------ D46. The reservoir is finally just about empty after 17 days. I'll top water with compost tea and sprouted seed tea tomorrow before filling the reservoir again in a couple of days. ------------------------------ D49. We're at the end of the third week of flower, and things are on autopilot. I'm not completely happy with the soil I'm testing as I'm seeing clawed and burnt leaf tips. Maybe I'm being picky, as it's relatively minor, and the plant looks happy overall, but I have never seen this growing in my own soil mixes. I filled up the reservoir with 7 liters of water @ pH 6.0. I adjusted the pH to be on the lower end since it has a tendency to creep up over time. ------------------------------

So I'm soo excited to start this journey Firstly!! Will be growing my first FastBuds Auto Strain outdoors 😀😮.. I saw the competition..being a mostly outdoor grower here in South Africa..I just had to join! Soo I started my germination method...Taproot sticking out but not yet long enough 🙃.. Will give it another 24hrs to check on them..or shall I say in another hour 🤔 😂.. .... 6 hours later taproot sprouted successfully .. She went straight into her Jiffy Pellet.. Now gonna wait for her to show her leafs...

🗓️ WEEK 4 (veg) ⚙️ In this final week of the vegetative stage, I increased the lamp’s intensity to 100% while positioning it 60 cm away from the plant. My thinking here is that starting next week, we're flipping to a 12/12 light cycle, and I'll let the plant grow closer to the light, down to about 35 cm, without needing to dim it further. I also added a coal filter, since it starts to feel some smells. 💧 I raised the EC to 1.2, and the plant appears to be thriving, consuming roughly 1.5 liters per day. The pH has consistently fluctuated between 5.8 and 6.0. On day 28, I drained the DWC reservoir and started a 24-hour flush using tap water EC 0.6 - pH 5.8. This prepares the plant for the new nutrient solution that will be introduced during the upcoming transition phase. 🌱 She's growing really bushy and is still compact. To conclude the week, I performed another light defoliation, removing some lower, older leaves. The new growth looks excellent – all leaves display a beautiful, healthy green color, showing no signs of deficiencies.

It’s a bit chillier than usual, but these resilient ladies are adapting beautifully. • Humidity: Stable at 65%, ensuring the girls remain hydrated and comfortable. • Airflow: Gentle but constant to keep the space fresh and prevent any stagnant air pockets. Growth Observations: Slow but Stunning • Structure: The slow growth might test patience, but the payoff is worth it. The compact, vibrant structure of each plant is breathtaking. • Leaves: Dark green, uniquely shaped, and full of character. Each girl is like an artist’s brushstroke—no two alike. • Praying Posture: Their leaves reach for the skies like they’re soaking up every ounce of light. Still no cloning or flipping to 12/12 yet, as I want them to grow a bit more before making any big moves. Next week, I’ll decide whether to flip them for a brief period to determine sex or wait until cloning is feasible. I Should have been chopped down 5 plants instead of just one however I lost her 4 sisters because of fungal infection due to a high humidity and and a very hot day. Wish I could have been able to get a lot of jars full of this wonderful and magical organics nugs.

Week 2 on these lady's

Just feeding today on the 15th of June and gave her 45ml of bloom and barely and 5ml of grow and she's loving it.

Flowering day 1 since time change to 12/12 Hey guys :-) The ladies are developing really well 😊. After the pictures she came into the flowering tent Was poured 2 times with 1 l each (groundwater see description at the bottom) I will spontaneously decide whether to keep her or not because all 3 phenotypes of her had seeds in the weed. But all 3 phenotypes taste really delicious. This phenotype 1 here only had a few single seeds so I'll give it another run and keep an eye on it. Everything was made clean. This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.
