Mandarin XL autoflower is growing great. She is really stalling on going into flowering, but it looks like she is gonna put her first pistils out at any moment. She started showing a big fluctuation in the ph. Which is also a sign I have noticed that she is shifting gears. She will get a solution change in the next few days. She looks super healthy on the Gen1:11 organo-mineral nutrition. I defoliated her and been keeping up on lst. Nothing else to report at the moment. 7/28/21: Week 7 and we found a few beans 😑, apparently we didn't remove the hermi in time but it's not too bad, we can live with a few seeds (it looks like maybe 5% if the plant)...its an interesting cross for sure lol (Green Crack x GDP).. she's still way too dark imo despite having cut all nutrients well over a week ago.. we may flush her this week and just continue the rest of the grow with only water...thanks for reading!! Will update mid week 🐱❤️💡🌱 ... 8/01/21: Trichomes are getting cloudy and the leaves are finally starting to lighten in color.. maybe 1-2 more weeks left before she comes down..we're really excited to try this strain!🐱

This week I tried to reduce the amount of nutrients and also just add nutris every other watering. I make a defoliation of the burned leafs from the overfeeding regarding last week (not sure if it was correct but seeing the burned leafs wasnt doing me any good).

This strain is of a local variety, some know it as pink mango 😎 It has a more energizing effect than the others I have picked.👌🙏 It is so common in and around the country that I found 2 seeds, pollen in the atmosphere. 🙌 Thanks to everyone who enjoyed this girl... This week started with the last feedings with Top Bud (1 ml/l) and after that, flushing time... The yellowing appeared at the end of the week, and the 3 pointed leaves deteriorated faster as normal leaves so when this started the plant lost it easily and fast. The colas are getting bigger each day, carbohydrates and enzymes full dose (TopCandy 2ml/l), until harvest, as this product is recommended until the end... Added micro vita to clean ethe soil and roots, not much, like 2-3 grams No bugs, fungus or other pests at the moment. Flushing schedule: -Water-/-TopCandy-/-Water-

4.28.25. 4th week of veg What up growers! A lot of tying down and defoliation going on. Starting to see signs of flower! Next week will be first week of flower. One more water with veg nutrients then switching over to flower! Have good rest of week! 🏼.

[ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

My nutrients aren’t per gallon but actually per 2.5 gallons so I’m not really overdoing it. Using koolbloom as well started late week one. Will be switching to koolbloom powder later. Looking great and I can finally say “SHE” is looking great! Pistils popping out all over now in week 2 of flower that started yesterday.

Update week 4 Bloom

Another week done. Hard to see progress day to day but just looking back at photos it's easy to see her moving along. It's my weekly ritual, photo, measure, smoke then update diary! So... She is still getting 1.5L each time i feed or water every 2 to 3 days. Increased the bloom nutrients further and decreased the grow to minimal. Removed a few leaves blocking sites again. Also a couple poking into the fans. As for lst, i slighty tweaked the 4 middle stems. The rest would snap with any bending below the top 40mm. Temperature spiked to 34 degrees in the tent for a few hours today but luckiky was watered last night. I think that helped her through those tough times. If she was almost dry and then had those temps i think she would be a bit annoyed! I was helping my brother move house and was a sweaty mess! Bet she was too and definitely appreciated my lights out being 1pm til 5pm. If it happens again and im home i will treat her to some ice packs by the intake again. :D All seems good overall. Can't really complain about anything. Last week i mentioned how she didnt smell. She did smell if you rubbed her trichomes and smelt your fingers. But just putting your nose to her was only a plant smell. Now, she has just started to have a smell of weed. I have a water pump and another timer to water her while i am away. All tested and after a bit of playing around i can feed 1.5L in 1 min :D On to another week that i am as excited for as the last.
