Day 8 - Girls starting to come on now. Looks like their roots have settled and starting to see some pokies coming out of the bottom of the root pouches so hopefully start to see some good growth beginning soon. Get them ready for training and the likes. Not changed the water this week (really should have as temp has been up a bit...into the 25's in the tank but plenty of Great White in there and no roots in water yet but...) - topping up with plain water to keep the EC level and just pH adjusting. Last weeks solution was a bit hot for my liking but no burn signs so should be good for a couple more days yet. Got some iceline procured so been cleaning/flushing/sterilising the Hailea for getting it installed (That's when the water change will happen...likely to last weeks strength & recipe). Cant wait to get that in to get tank temps down (as roots will be in the water in about 5 days by the looks of things...tops!!! Also have the Torus Hydro pH Perfect Inline run through for a couple of days so it will be ready to go in to keep the pH good for me (A grow off and my pH skills are out the window!!! 😜). Just waiting on a Sicce Syncra 3.0 to pump the chiller and the pH Perfect (Bit overkill @ 2700LpH but looking something for the URDWC I am building for next year...thought the extra pressure would help with the inline pH adjuster too). Day 43: after watering it got bigger - the buds are getting bigger, the height of the plant increase aswell. Today I started seeing a bit of snow on the leaves? Day 44: watered with 1.5l Day 46: watered again with 2l Plant is getting sticky. And I finally saw some trichomes!!!! Day 49: Buds are getting bigger, one the main stem huge one is forming, but just right underneath are two side buds - a bit afraid of mold.. Right now hard to keep humidity under 55, doing a lot of defoliation almost daily. LST should have been better, got unfortunately uneven

Welcome to GhostGrow Chapter One by PoshGrow! 🌳 Week #12July 12th - July 19th LAST WEEK! ----- July 16th. As I mentioned last week, theres 4 girls left in a tent: Alaskan #1, #2, #3 & #5. Alaskan #1, #3 & #5 will be chopped down at the end of this week. Finally they are ready at flowering week #12!! Alaskan #2 would be shame to cut her and throw it away, so I decided to let her finish with my next grow. I think she will be ready in 3 weeks max, so it wont interupt my next run. Watering: every 2 days. Alaskan #1, #3 & #5. From the middle of the week 11 watering only pH corrected water (6.2 - 6.3 pH) to fully flush them before harvest. Alaskan #2 was flushed for 1 week, no nuts, just 6.2 pH water and started all over again. Fox Farm Trio with BB 15ml, GB 10ml, TB 10ml per gallon ratio. Going to water using Fox Farm official schedule till the last 2 weeks, then going flush like always. Just chopped last night. About 8oz wet weight. Did a good amount of wet trimming, will do a final manicure once it is dried. This grow has been an absolute blast - the girls were good to me and didn't give me much trouble. I am a man of variety, so I always try new things - so not sure if i will grow it again but if I had to, I wouldn't be mad at all :) Smoked some scissor hash it is sure was tasty! and strong - got me feeling reallllllly nice. Will update in a week or so when it is dried to report on the dry weight. And then some time after that I will report on the smoke once it cures :) UPDATE POST HAND DRY: The plants hung for 6 days, and have now moved into the jars. Dry weight of exactly 2oz. 51g buds, 5g trim. I had no idea that cannabis loses its smell a bit as it dries - so i got super worried at first, only to realize this is normal and the beautiful smell returned shortly. Will continue to update after curing for a taste/effect review. UPDATE ~ 1.5 Weeks into cure: Looking back it think I did too much dry trimming. It had been cold at that time, and I was paranoid about mold. It dried quite quickly, and I might have been out a day too long. I was aiming to get them in jars and have it sit at about 60-65% humidity - but when they went into the jars it never went higher than 54% and kind of settled down at 48%. But the buds aren't crispy by any means, so maybe my humidity meter was off. They do seem a little too dry though - and the buds are definitely quite airy. My grow light is pretty small, so I'm not expecting super dense buds. From what I've read, I'm worried they might have over-dried past the point of "curing"? Or maybe I'm reading too much into this, idk. This is all a learning process and I'm enjoying it regardless. It was my first grow so I definitely have room for improvement within my current setup. I couldn't wait to try it so I've been sampling throughout the curing process. The flavor and scent profiles are definitely changing, and for the better - but it doesn't have that same "dank" smell it had when she was a living plant. Not sure if that's normal, but probably just didn't have the best drying process. Obviously this early, I'm not expecting amazing taste and smell, so let's see how some more time does. I will say it gets me stoned, for sure haha. It's got a nice dark green, purple color too it with a decent amount of thichomes visible. Honestly, the smaller plant (#1) that I stunted early on has a better scent/taste already, versus #2 that looked so good. Not saying #2 is a bust at all either. It has this earthy, almost cheesy flavor profile. Interesting. Back to the effect - it worked to the point where I feel laser-focused writing this update haha. It definitely has a hybrid effect, with a nice euphoric uplift, while helping me relax and ease tension. I'll try to keep updating this as it cures!

Week 1 Day 1 - Clones #1 and #2 are looking alright, not super strong and slight nutrient deficiency issues, but OK. Will just observe for now. - These clones are currently under a very mild CFL light (20 cm away and about 200 ppfd measured roughly by phone app - Tent Buddy.) - Clone #3 still need to be covered to maintain moisture. Yesterday I un-cupped the clone and it wilted a lot. This morning it looks better again after a night of rest under the plastic cup. - I've checked the run off and these clone's pH are so low, while TDS are so high (pH 5.7 and TDS 800pm). This evening, I flushed them with pH 6.5 water and brought the runoff to about pH 6.0 and 350 ppm) Week 1 Day 2 - Just foliage spray with mild CalMag this morning. Soil is still moist, so no watering. Week 1 Day 3 - Just minor watering today. Glad to see the clones are doing well as they are growing a bit everyday. Will transfer them to 3 gallon airpots with new soil mix soon. Week 1 Day 4 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Add 5ml of 250 ppm of balanced NPK nutrients AN B52 for each plant. Week 1 Day 5 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Transfer them to 3 gallon airpots. Week 1 Day 6 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Skip watering. The clones responded OK to the new airpots. Week 1 Day 7 - TBA

Want to thank @Humboldt Seeds for working with me to answer questions about me unusual pheno! Gracias, gang! Every once and a while there is a genetic 'throwback'. Wish I'd have cloned the one from last grow! We'll see what this ASD is like. Displaying more indica like traits than sativa, although it is 80% sativa. This will be a cool grow! The clones are hanging in there! It's been 6 weeks of vegging under an LED bar. Can they keep going for another 4-5 weeks? I hope so! Will do my best! One of the two BHB clones will be transferred from soil to DWC at 10 weeks. The adjustment period will be slow. About a week, I figure. If successful. I will have solved my 'Have no way to veg' quandary. Will build a bubble cloner for the next batch.
