Day 64 Flower (Day 106) Today is the first day of the 10th week of flower and I put on a powerful headlight and some magnifying glasses and closely inspected the right girl during the dark period, so the colors from the grow lights didn't fool me. Unfortunately, I found another couple of buds with bud rot. Soon I'll have to decide to harvest the plant now and cut my losses even though she isn't done, or I'll take my chances and let her go a while longer. I turned up my extraction fan, installed another circulation fan, and ordered a dehumidifier that will arrive tomorrow. I'm hoping that all those measures will bring down the humidity in the tent (unfortunately, I can't do anything about the temps) and prevent further rot. I will let her go another few days and see if any additional rot pops up. Fingers crossed that it won't. The left girl is just doing her thing, but it doesn't look like she will fatten her buds. I guess all that stress in the tiny tent was too much for her. No matter what the result of this grow will be, it certainly has been a great learning experience. Day 65 Flower (Day 107) Things are looking good for the right girl as I haven't found any more bud rot yet. Turning up the extraction fan certainly helped, not only with the humidity but also the temperature dropped. Not by a huge amount, but I'll take whatever improvement I can get. Today the dehumidifier arrived as well, and I put it in the tent right away. The humidity in the tent has now dropped from the high 60s to a much more suitable mid-40s, and I hope this will be enough together with additional air circulation to prevent any further rot. I looked a bit closer at the trichomes today and found that most have gone cloudy, and I finally found some amber ones (about damn time!). I'm aiming for around 20-25% amber in this harvest as I'm hoping for a relatively "heavy" smoke - one of those frying-pan-to-the-head kinds of smokes suitable for late nights. Day 66 Flower (Day 108) Still no signs of more bud rot. Fingers crossed All I did today was to mix up some more nematodes in water and then feed each girl with 3 liters of it at ph 6.4. I'm not sure it was necessary for my main tent as the fungus gnats seem to have died out by themselves. I put in a new yellow sticky trap yesterday, but it was still empty today, and many dead gnats were lying on the tent floor. I have no real idea why, as I don't use any pesticides, but maybe the gnats really don't like this new low humidity in the tent. In any case, I'm just happy that the little buggers are gone. Day 67 Flower (Day 109) The bud rot is still staying away, and I'm getting hopeful that it will stay gone. All I did today was to give the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.4 water. She was a bit thirsty as I had the irrigation turned off for a couple of days due to the nematodes I gave them yesterday. I've now turned on the system in each tent and will just cruise along until harvest. The girls are already way over time, but most trichomes are cloudy, and I've started to see some amber here and there. Although, not much of a fade so far. Day 68 Flower (Day 110) All I did today was snap a couple of pics. It's all just a waiting game at this point, and I hope it won't take that much longer. I'm ready to cut the girls down and have some time off before the next season is here. I plan to grow a couple of photo CBD girls in my main tent and maybe an auto in my smaller tent. We'll see. But yeah, first, the current grow must come to an end. It looks like the left girl is starting to get her fade on, so there's that at least. What I did, though, was to make a smoke test of the right girl. Let me explain: Earlier this week, I had to cut off four buds due to bud rot. Out of those four buds, I saved two small tops after trimming off all rot (as well as plenty more just to be safe). I left those tops on the tent floor, where they dried in only a few days, and yesterday I decided to try a smoke. Naturally, I can't say anything about taste as this weed is dried the worst way possible: fast, hot, and in the light. On top of that, it's not cured either. That being said, holy smokes, batman! This stuff kicks like a mule, which is why I didn't post this last night already. I was too stoned to care. Precisely the effect I was hoping for from this harvest: properly stoned and incredibly lazy. Boom! Day 70 Flower (Day 112) Today was the last day of week 10 of flower. Not much exciting is happening this late in flower, so it is primarily a waiting game at this point. I did remove the irrigation system from the left girl and will hand water her instead. That cheap system I had was too erratic, and I'm better off without it. Plus, I hope that she will be done soon-ish. She will never win a beauty contest due to her scraggly foxtail flowers, but I'm still happy to get something from her considering all the stress she went through. The right girl has been doing fine all week, and no other bud rot has been seen since I fixed her environment. I rechecked the trichomes today, and still hardly any amber in either girl. I'll let them go for another week, but then it is time for the chopping block. This grow already went a lot longer than planned initially, and it is time to bring it to a close soon.

So introduced a scrog net into my grow tent this week and tied some high growing stalks down a little so the others can try and reach there height! Whether I’ve added the net to late is a different question and answer!! My first grow so still learning as I grow haha! Temps been good and they look like there flowering heavier each week which is a bonus! Still unsure on the flush system when harvest is nearing!

It was pretty challenging feeding all my plants at 1x .i have been over feeding my last autos grows this is my 2nd photo grow and my best.their stretching not too bad and making little buds so far

The week went well, no problem, no pest, no deficiency. Stable rate of growth. Everything's gravy, everything's wavy :)

They have jumped again in height quite a bit this week; they are big plants to say the least. Each plant is approximately 5 ft (60inches) tall (2 are a little taller than that) and they are all about 4 ft (48inches) wide. They drink like horses do! I didn’t expect these plants to fill out their 10 gallon pots so quickly, but they are pretty well root bound. All in all these ladies are doing pretty well; this week I gave them a 70/30 mix of Gaia greens all purpose and power bloom, amongst a few other Gaia green products to boost phosphate and potassium, and continue to supplement with advanced nutrients additives once a week. I defoliated this week; and actually got quite violent with them to try to allow some more light to penetrate the canopy; you wouldn’t even know it 😑 Slowly they are changing their growth patterns; we are also loosing daylight in my hemisphere at the rate of about 2.5 minutes a day, hopefully that helps continue to ease them comfortably into flower 🌺

This week went very well. She grew another 7 +/- inches. A little bit of stretch but not too bad, I'll keep an eye on it. If i didn't already have 2 more SD growing, I probably would have kept this plant for a mother plant. I'm just starting to do a little cloning. I like SD but i don't want 7 plants right now. With the little bit of LST i did, my canopy is pretty even height wise.

It's been 37 days of flower now and The gals are still loving the fc4800 and their new 8x8 mars hydro grow tent as much as I do👍 leaves are sticking straight up towards the light. Love how easy the zippers are to open and close. Nice and strong and guaranteed to last. It has extra material on the backside of the zipper that helps for light leaksand enough ports and vents for anything you need in it👍. the tsw2000 is still going strong and is also a very good light. Its been going almost nonstop for 6 months and still working the same as when I got it👍. It really got my last grow extremely frosty and is doing the same so far for this grow. I'm very happy with every product I have gotten from mars hydro 👍👍There's not much heat off both lights but the fc4800 is alot cooler and the heat-sinks work extremely well. I have it daisy chained to the tsw2000 and 1 dimmer controls the other and i don't need to be reaching in too far to dim the other light, it's awesome and I can't wait to buy more lights to daisy 4 together👍. I would recommend this light to everyone that grows with leds and have trouble with temperatures getting too high. Even if you grow with HPS lights I think any mars hydro light is a MUST TRY. I like how heavy both lights are because I know it means they are built soild and strong 💪. Very good sign with the frost they are starting to get thanks to bith mars hydro lights. I can notice more frost under the fc4800 and I'm thinking it's from the UV DIODES they put on the fc4800 👍. 2 days ago they all smelt like my nuken, sweet marshmallows. But now I can smell the monkey dough and gorilla glue and skunk monkey coming through👍. I touched a bud on the gorilla and monkey fingers smelt like fruit loops👍 really pleasant smell. Lingered on my fingers for atleast 30 min. I'm glad mars hydro is under priced compared to some brands and for how popular they are. usually companies would charge more. Thanks mars you guys are awesome 🤘🥁🎸. I'm getting a new exhaust fan soon. An 8 inch that will work alot better than my 4 inch lol. Wayyy to small for a 8x8 Grow Tent. Dehumidifier is going almost non stop to try and get the humidity down. I love how both lights on 100% power only raise my temperature 2 or 3 degrees 👍. You can rest your hand on the lights and not much heat comes off them. Obviously there is some heat but for the brightness of the lights and only raising the temp that much is awesome 👌.  And if I wanted to I could remove the driver from the fc4800 and run it on the outside of my tent because the cord is so long but 2 or 3 degrees is barely nothing👍. The girls are starting to bulk up abit now and only 3 weeks of flowering, these lights are awesome 👌.  My last run of monkey dough and gorilla glue didn't start showing alot of crystals until week 4. These were only 2.5 weeks and I started noticing some frost. Next week I will be able to tell more about what these custom bred seeds will be like. I love how the smell is changing now. Auto Ultimate is an absolute BEAST!!! She’s taller than the another two by far!!! They are all flowering really well and seem to be hitting it out of the park!!! This grow is by far better then our first grow!! The plants are bigger the bud structure is looking amazing everything seems really to be on point!!! We have defoliated far more this grow and it seems to really be beneficial!!! The only thing I would have done differently is I would have LST’d sooner as these stems got super thick super fast so there was only so much bending we could do without breaking them. Had we done no LST these girls would be at the top of the tent by now especially Ultimate!!!

Week 8 started today. Things are looking very good! Happy growing everyone ✌️🍀✌️ UPDATE: my new light JUST arrived!!! Man this thing is huge! Ora le fragoline misurano circa 1 cm di diametro e quelle della numero 3 misurano circa 1.5 cm💪 L odore inizia a marcare i suoi aromi, pungenti note di mapo (Citrus × tangelo) si mischiano a leggeri sentori di gasolio.😋 Ho defogliato loro nel giorno 67 e ho allargato tutti le apicale dalla pianta 1 con Lst, i nuts rimangono invariati.👍 Eh niente! Day 14: After a week from hell with the heat often staying around 34-37°c while lights on , these little ladies have coped fairly well. i am down now to 5 on this run but the very small Northern light could also give up at some point as it is so tiny. The others are just starting to get moving and actually growing now. light now at full power so lets see how this week goes.
