~ GG4 SHERBET FAST FLOWER by FastBuds ~ Well fam, here we go again with another epic strain from FastBuds Fast Flowering stable. After having such tremendous success growing their Gorilla Cookies Fast Flower outdoors last year, I've decided to run another of their fast flowering strains outdoors this year... GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower! The best description of this awesome cultivar comes directly from my friends at FastBuds which is as follows: "Bred from extremely potent and flavorful Gorilla Glue and Orange Sherbet genetics, GG4 Sherbet FF (Fast-Flowering) takes all the best traits to the next level, offering a high-yielding strain that can produce up to 600 g/m2 in a 7-week flowering time. This super resilient Indica-leaning hybrid thrives indoors and outdoors, and in all types of climates while producing mouth-watering sweet, fruity, spicy and earthy terps that translate into a delicious sugary hazelnut aroma. Expect an extremely relaxing and overall happy effect that’ll leave you with a huge smile from ear to ear. It’s the perfect strain for growers of all levels of experience seeking low-maintenance yet highly productive photoperiod varieties that deliver quality and quantity without extra effort. GG4 Sherbet FF grows chunky buds with long dark orange hairs and spade-shaped calyxes that get encrusted with trichomes by harvest time, giving them a gorgeous silvery-white appearance. This medium-sized photoperiod can reach up to 200 cm in height and yields up to 650 g/m2 while developing that typical hybrid structure. GG4 Sherbet FF grows with a stocky, bushy appearance, developing one sturdy main cola and fat side branches that support huge yields without much effort. This super-fast variety produces distinctive light-green buds with a high bud-to-leaf ratio, making your trimming sessions a breeze. It’s a top-notch resin producer that doesn’t need much maintenance and will thrive in almost every climate, rewarding growers of all levels with extremely flavorful resin that makes for outstanding hash end extracts." ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower indoors as our weather is still too cold to put her outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 30's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 4/4- Day one for the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet FF! I initially soaked the seed in lukewarm tap water for 24 hours, at which time the shell had split and a root tip was visible. I then transferred the seed to a pre-soaked peat pellet which was placed in a 1.5"x1.5" plastic seedling pot which was set into the bottom half of a Solo cup that I cut in half. 4/6- As soon as I could see a root beginning to emerge from the peat pellet I transferred the pellet, that I first coated with Extreme Gardening's MYCOS, into a Solo cup that had a 70/30 Coco/Perlite mix that was pre-amended with Gaia Green 4-4-4 slow release dry amendment, along with wiggle worm castings. After placing the GG4 Sherbet FF in the cup, I watered it in and placed a humidity dome over it to ensure that it stayed in a relatively moist environment as she gets acclimated to her new 'temporary home'. 4/8- The FastBuds GG4 Sherbet FF has taken right to her Solo cup and is looking stress free. Her vigor and color are both exceptional as well! 4/10- Well there's the first week for this little girl. Stay tuned in the coming weeks, especially when she gets moved outside and really starts to take off. I can't wait... can you? Thank you for checking out my diary, your positive comments and support make it all worthwhile! 💚Growers Love!💚😎🙏 Translate

Day 21 During lights out, I dialed up the light to 50% (200w). Day 26 They are hungry and not growing. The moisture meter has only moved from really wet to wet since transplant on day 13. This new medium is much different than coco-loco. I'm going to top dress when the lights come back on. These plants should be a lot bigger. I feel like ripping them up and starting over. Ready to try my hand at photo-periods. One mistake with autos and the whole grow is phuked! SMH😡 Both these plants together will probably yield half ounce. Not worth the electricity. If I don't see miraculous response to top dressing, they are going in the trash!

this is the beginning of the 4th week along with the publication of the end of the 3rd week, this is how the fourth week is received, another intensive pruning that has no choice but to do it due to the size of the indoor, which is working great for us and we believe that I will always work like this, I am happy, here then the pruning of its results a little before and after and how it is receiving this fourth week, with the threads I touch a little bit of hair I hope it does not affect much but all in favor of opening the field to all the branch buds alike.WE CHANGE THE MESH FOR A BETTER ONE AND OF THE IDEAL SIZE AND AGAIN WE USE THREADS THAT HELP US VERY WELL, WONDERFULLY

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Fastbuds GSC x Barneys Red diesel 6 weeks of flowering completed 9th April 2020 Hi Everyone I hope you are all feeling well and keeping busy during the lockdown. It's raining cats and dogs here (lucky there's no chinese around LMFAO) and the humidity is 100% so today Ive chopped this little lady down and she is now drying up in my shed with fans going 24/7. I was quite pleased with the amount of bud I got off her and it's smelling fantastic and is very sticky. The trichomes were very milky with a few amber as well. 😍 very easy to grow no fuss and no problems but we'll have to wait and see as to whether she is a good smoke or not . Now for this weeks Aussie Music videos 👊 Because we are almost at the end of this grow I thought I had better add a few extra songs this week to make sure I get a decent selection of Diffrent music videos for you all to check out. Week 8 is finally here! We changed up the nutrient feeding to the week 8 on the feed chart. I am diluting everything at a 50-40% rate to keep EC within acceptable ranges of 0.8 - 1.1 EC. I started adding Terpinator to the mix and I do notice a significant smell increase vs. without it. I am going to keep using this as I think it is a great supplement. I did figure out that even though on the bottle and on the specific feed chart, it says it is a light formula that will have minimal impact on EC and will not burn your plants at the recommended rates - it will! First time mixing up my nutrients with terpinator, I had to dilute it because the EC was too high. I put the recommended amount in my mix, and checked EC and low and behold it was high. The next feeding I did a 50% dilution rate and that seemed to be ok if you are diluting your other inputs properly to compensate. ALWAYS make sure your EC and PH are in check prior to fertigating your plants. I am watching the trichomes on a daily basis and am looking to harvest sometime this week or next. I plan to dry it in the tent it is growing in as it has AC and good airflow. Once they are done drying, they will get trimmed up, lightly vacuum sealed and stored in the freezer. Updates will be coming throughout the week!
