Hello Growmies, I'm excited to report that the main plant is flourishing! She looks incredibly lush and healthy. I'm delighted with her progress so far. The lower shoots, especially since the topping, have started to catch up nicely. I'm confident they'll reach the scrog by the time I flip her into flower next week. Currently, she isn't stretching enough for further training, but I anticipate this will change with the upcoming flip. I've also done some defoliation on the lower parts and removed a few less favorable side shoots to promote healthier growth. The other two plants are coming along in their one-liter pots, although I suspect they're nearing the limit of their root space. It's going to be interesting to see how they adapt as they transition into the flowering stage. 21 september What a week...nothing but rain. MAROC got chopped, she suffered from mould the worst. Grapefruit does a better job in this terrible weather. Few spot with mould were detected and those branches were removed. Every time keeping alcohol at hand to clean immediatly. Carefull not to spread the stuff. Curled/ twisted leaves, black spot are the first indications of rot. I have taken rotting flowers and leaves out and buried them. 2 weeks with little sleep and carefully checking every bud twice on each visit. Now we have 3 sunny days. She will get chopped before the next rain. Hopefully the sun to come is enough for her too bulk up a bit. I would love those calyxes to be fat and swollen. I have given up on reaching amber trichs. Weather wont allow it.

This will be the last week of 18/6. I've got to count 2 - 3 weeks of stretching at 12/12 and the surface of the screen ain't that huge. I've did some defoiling, not much...just some top leaves and some under the screen. My watering and feeding strategy is that I start with little doses, less then prescribed by Canna. The soil is fresh so there are already nutrients available. I don't water the Runtz everyday, but every other day. This week that was about 1 liter every other day. And it got a bit brighter this week. The grow lights are lowered to 70 cm (27 inches) at 224 watt. Well the pas week has been a lot! We had some dehydration issues, did some defolitation, and additional LST to prep for flower. Starting today, this plant has been kicked into the flower tent and will be starting its journey! Before we went to flower, I gave this guy 1tbsp of Dr. Earth tomato blend.
