Day 81 Added an A/C unit. Trying to get the temp down. I’ve got some things to figure out here... Day 82 So the A/C and the Dehumidifier were fighting each other. The solution for now is to have the dehumidifier in there vented out of the tent and the AC unit outside the tent so the intake fan sucks cool air into the tent when the fan kicks on at 80 degrees. Day 83 Well the plants fell over... so now they have been tied up. The buds were getting too heavy and the plant started tilting. All good now. They look incredible! Day 85 Really struggling to keep temps and humidity down. I think keeping the humidity down is more important at this point. Day 87 I finally figured out a configuration that is keeping the plants at a steady 79 degrees. Phew. Also, I’m almost positive now that these are 2 different strains. One smells citrusy and the other more skunky. 2 more weeks!

This was the ladies last week! I’ve been watching the tricomes, #1 is mostly cloudy with a touch of amber, # 2 could go just a bit longer as there are mostly cloudy with a few amber and some clear… but I have a schedule to keep to make tent space available. Fed the ladies straight ph’d water for 4 feeds, being sooooo hot they have been needing water every other day, which turned out perfect! Super happy with the smells so far, typical Kush with a very pleasing earthy aroma 🤤 Into my 2x4 AC infinity controlled tent for hopefully a 10 day slow dry @ 60% RH. It’s been so dang hot, temps in my basement with AC are still hovering around 72 degrees!

Cherry Cola's Grand Flourish in the Floral Symphony Greetings, fellow cultivators! Week 4 has unfurled its petals in the mesmerizing floral journey of our beloved Cherry Cola Auto. The tent is now a stage for a grand botanical opera, and our green queen stands as a testament to the wonders of cultivation. Let's dive into the details of this flourishing spectacle! As we venture deeper into Week 4, the floral elegance of Cherry Cola Auto takes center stage. What was once a lush bush has evolved into a breathtaking beauty, a true testament to the success of our horticultural endeavors. The topping technique and the release from training supports have paved the way for a regal display of colas and buds. The decision to set our Cherry Cola free from the constraints of training supports continues to be a triumph. The tent is now a realm of bushy brilliance, and our green queen stands tall, a majestic presence commanding attention. It's a living masterpiece in perpetual motion. The echoes of our topping tales from previous weeks resonate in the structure of Cherry Cola's colas. Each topped branch has evolved into a flourishing bud-laden entity, contributing to the overall grandeur of our green canvas. The decision to embark on this topping journey has truly paid off. Our nutrient symphony, now joined by the magical touch of Potassium (K), continues to fuel the botanical brilliance. P-Boost and Topbooster, with their orchestration of phosphorus, organic grace, and now potassium magic, create a harmonious dance of blooming processes. The buds are becoming robust, laden with fibers, resins, and sugars, promising a top-tier end product. Every day, the visual majesty of Cherry Cola unfolds with new growth, showcasing the resilience and vitality she possesses. It's more than a plant; it's a living testament to the artistry of cultivation. As we conclude Week 4, Cherry Cola Auto stands as a botanical opera in full swing. The tent is alive with the grand flourish of a floral symphony. Stay tuned, fellow enthusiasts, as we eagerly await the next thrilling act in the Cherry Cola Chronicles! MY WEED SMELLS LIKE WEED. Filling the room, creeping through the apt, what a glorious time. No major smell worries where I am so I'm just enjoying the atmosphere. 😍 On to Backbuilding/Bud Tipping. (Shoot me any advice on this down below!) I experimented back mid-week with 3 tipped buds that had similar control buds side-by-side. After 4 days there is a noticeable difference in density and bud structure in the 3 tipped buds compared to the very fluffy and softer buds next to them. No overall size difference but the tipped buds are rock hard and filling in gaps down the cola compared to the untipped buds. A light squeeze on both a tipped bud and untipped will tell you the difference right there. Happy with the results after seeing them for myself and lucky enough to find this technique at the end of week 4, I tipped majority of the main colas on Danny and some larger buds on Arnold today. Which means I also get what OG growers call a "First Taste" once my tips dry out and cure for a few days. 😛 Other than tipping, I've just had to keep up with Arnold's feedings since lower leaves are still fading if I skip mineral nute feedings. Looks like they will be getting only PH Perfect and/or Molasses feedings until the final flush since they can't get enough food in the ProMix medium. I've still had constant defoliation during to avoid leaf overlap and light blockage. Since I'm now entering week 5 of flower I'll have to get it where I want in the next couple days and go hands off for the last month or so. Thanks for checking out my grow! Follow along as we're getting to the good part and I'll update again this week once the tipping sets in 💪 MID-WEEK UPDATE: Random Heat/Humidity wave in Southern Ontario so I'm keeping a close eye on the buds after dark periods. Keeping air moving well so far so hopefully I can avoid mold/mildew in last few weeks. Twins are looking good. Arnold still super hungry so I've upped the nutes a tad and skipped plain water feeding until the flush. Just fed them PH Perfect/Molasses cocktail. Big Arnold on the right is definitely rootbound by how the water is draining so I'm looking at a lower yield from the right plant. I get run off from small Danny during a regular feed but takes a lot more to get any from Arnold and I don't want to overwater in this random heat/humidity wave. The Backbuilding/BudTipping is working like a charm. The tipped buds are filling down and way more dense than the untipped. Popped the SoundLink in the tent today to give the twins some music while I go about my business. PLANT PLAYLIST: Vulfpeck - Mr Finish Line Anderson Paak - Ventura Prince - Purple Rain Remastered Unless anything crazy happens I'll update at start of week 6 flower. Thanks for stopping by, liking, following, what-have-you 😃

8/16/2020 Not too many changes, starting to lower the amount of nutrients and just adding bloom, just watching the birds fattening up getting ready to do a flush in about 2 1/2 weeks, hopefully end up with some good quality flavorful bud

Lovely big chunky lady. 80ccm across colas that are thick as a babies arm.. and a delightfully zesty sweet smell when she wobbles in the breeze. My queen this run for sure. Such an imposing girl... Feeds are down to 1.6ec as I remove the more pk from her diet. She just gets greenbuzz nutrients organic bloom for the duration now. Lights are at 60% giving 1100umols average across the canopy. Just a pleasure to grow.. Thanks for passing. Grow well 🌿💚🌿🙏🏼

14 Days have passed. No problems, the heatwave has stopped so we are back to stable temps. ---1st time growing with FLO - Florian Living Organics.--- They claim that there is no need to pH when watering and that their living fertilizer is the only thing that i will need throughout the whole grow so i only need to mix with soil and just water with plain water. If this stuff works then it can simplify my future grows ALOT! Happy growing. 😎

1/11/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 1- I have a root almost in the water.. Yay!! Top feeding is almost done. she is looking a little sad as I work the transition Top feeding but once the roots are fully in the water she will start to take off. Ensured my PPFD is set between 250-300 it is set to: 258 1/12/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 2- I have a root in the water.... NO TOP FEED TODAY SIR!!! now that a root is touching the water and she looks stable, I am not going to topfeed, I will see how she looks tomorrow and as long as everything looks good I am going to go ahead and do a change and week 1 fill on Nutes.. I know it is a couple of days in but the same Nutes go through Week 2 and get changed at Week 3 So I should be good to go.. I will just ensure I fill to root touching the water when I change tomorrow. 1/13/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 3- Water Change Day!! I added 36 Gallons of Water to the system: Silica= .5mil/gal= 18mil CalMag= .75mil/gal = 27mil FloraMicro=3.0mil/gal = 108mil FloraGro=2.0mil/gal = 72mil FloraBloom= 2.0mil/gal = 72mil PH DOWN= 30mil Very important thing with this system is to now wait the 24 hours for the system to adjust.. Do not make any further adjustments to your PH up or Down for 24 hours to allow time for the system to balance. 1/14/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 4- Today I just adjusted the PH to ensure that it was right at 6.0 1/15/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 5- Today I Cleaned up the lower damaged leaves from the transition from top feeding to roots in the water. She looks good today. 1/16/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 6- Today I just took a picture of the beautiful lady for Log. Other than that just normal day to day operations, check the pH, check the Humidifiers and fill as necessary, check level of water in the Res. Everything looks great. onto Tomorrow!! 1/17/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 7- Today I filled the humidifers, checked the PH and just let her grow.. Grow baby Grow.....
