Que hay familia, vamos con la décima semana de floración de estas Candy Rain de Zamnesia, para el concurso POWER BUDS Plagron x Zamnesia CONTEST. Las flores han terminado de madurar, con 70 dias de floración desprenden unos aromas bastante dulces, en 24 horas me imagino que haré las últimas fotos y las cortaré. Tercera y última semana solo con agua controlando siempre el Ph, que ahora mismo lo dejamos en 6. Tragan alrededor de 0.6 litro por planta cada 48 horas.(3 riegos semanales). La temperatura máxima está en 22 grados y la humedad está entorno al 40%. Os adelanto, es una planta híbrida predominante indica, es bastante fácil de cultivar, y aunque no sean plantas grandes si produce buenas flores y bien resinadas. Week 18 Middle August : weather is changing. Return of heat and humidity: 28 degrees, a little bit rain. A heat wave is coming but near the ocean the maximum will be around 32 degrees. It’s good to grow in greenhouse during this period : -ventilation control: I adapted the rythme: for now it’s around 18h/24h intermittently -pests and diseases control: insect’s traps natural and artificial, less heat -humidity control: no rain problem Daylight 14h: 7h/21h Flowering time 😁. Healthy plant, beautiful green color, just a few yellow leaves on the base. More watering: 1,5L every 60 hours Same cocktail: Calmag (0,5ml/L)+ FloraGro (2ml/L), FloraMicro (2ml/L), FloraBloom (1ml/L) + Root booster + Cannazym Feeding soil with guano bat (NPK 3/6/10) for a slow dispersion + dried horn and blood (NOK 13/0/0) for nitrogen add. Protecting plant: sprayed Neem Oil, added diatomaceous earth on soil. I will make a defoliation soon.

Really love a set of scales to keep track of weight too. pH and EC are both critical for thriving plant health, but temperature also plays a pivotal role in achieving optimal growth. It also happens to be the fundamental parameter that's most commonly overlooked. When you think about temperature in the context of a growing environment, you could be referring to the temperature of the air around the plants or you could also be referring to the temperature of nutrient solution or irrigation water, which will affect the root zone temperature. While air temperature is important, for the purposes of this piece, I'll be focusing on root zone temperature and its effect on nutrient uptake and overall plant health. That's because a plant's root system is the location of two essential chemical processes: water and nutrient absorption. In each of these processes, having the correct root zone temperature is paramount for these to occur efficiently. In a nutshell, root zone temperature will affect the rate at which your plants are able to absorb nutrients. If you let your root zone temperature remain unmonitored and uncontrolled, this could lead to disastrous effects on your overall crop yield. Nutrient absorption is largely driven by chemical processes, which take place in your plants' roots; the efficacy of these processes is determined by the temperatures to which those roots are exposed. Once your root zone temperature moves out of its optimal range, the plant will not be able to deliver optimal levels of nutrients and water. Ideally, you should aim to have your nutrient solution or irrigation water temperature at around 18 – 22 °C (65 - 72 °F) to ensure optimal nutrient and water uptake. In addition to having an effect on nutrient absorption, your root zone temperature also affects oxygen availability and solubility. If your water is too warm, you could risk starving your roots of oxygen as warm water cannot hold as much dissolved oxygen as colder water. On the other hand, if your water is too cold, this could shock your plant roots, decrease plant metabolic rates, and stunt plant growth. Peace out.

2.24.2024: Start of week 5 from seed. Started to flower last week. Nothing done today. Still no nutes given, still scared to defoliate. Plant is 15.5 inches tall and looks healthy. Light is 11 inches from the top and at 75% power, 112 watts. I'm clearly no expert and i'm sure there's something i should be doing(feeding) but she's chugging along. 2.25.2024: Day 37 from seed. She's so healthy, and the budsites are producing a ton of white hairs. Some of the fan leaves have purple stems and a dark green color which i think indicates something with nitrogen but she's rolling along. Still no nutes given. 64oz of 6.3ph. 19 inches from soil. Can't tell if watering lowers the soil level but since i haven't touched the light height, i'm assuming its upward growth. 2.26.2024: Day 38. Small bit of upward growth. Will feed tomorrow for the first time at 1/4 strength nutes from the fox farm trio and maybe some calmag. 2.27.2024: Day 39 from seed. Finally fed the plant, albeit small amounts. Foxfam trio at 1/4 strength of the week 5 dose plus calmag. 64oz of the solution at 6.5ph. 2.28.2024: Day 40 from seed, 36 from sprout. Humming along. Bud development is going nicely. 21 inches in height. Light at 75% 9 inches from the top. 2.29.2024: Day 41. 96oz at 6.5ph. Another .5 inch of growth. Sitting at 23 inches from soil. Bud sites are clearly defined with tons of long white pistils. At first glance, she's the winner between the two in the tent so far. 3.1.2024: End of week 6, day 42 from seed. Plant is healthy as far as i can tell. Some yellow leaf tips, some burnt leaf tips, and most likely some nitrogen toxicity but shes taking it all well. Lots of learnings so far. FFOF probably isn't ideal but its working. I've got half a bag left so i'm stuck with it for the next cycle or two. I bought the fox farm trio for nutes and given i've only used them once, and a few mililiters at that, i feel like those containers are going to last forever.
