D64. We're at the start of the fourth week of flower, and today was a busy day. First, I had to remove the old lights before swapping in the light from my auto tent. All while trying to avoid trashing the plants in the way too full tent. Not an easy task. The entire mission, with changing the light in the auto tent as well, took a couple of hours. I wish I could keep the Greenception lights in the tent as they're high-quality lights, but the Kingbrite has a much lower profile and thus takes up much less space. Space that I desperately need considering how insanely much these girls stretched. One of the tops on the second girl has unfortunately already been bunt by being too close to the light, and I'm sure I will run into light bleaching and probably foxtailing as the grow progress, but I hope I will be able to pull it off with the Kingbrite light. I also added some wire support to the branches that I super-cropped, as they looked somewhat sad after all the abuse to the canopy while swapping the lights. ------------------------------ D66. It looks like the girls have FINALLY stopped stretching. Phew! Yesterday, I gave each girl 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.2 with humic acid and EM-1. Today, the green lacewing larvae (Chrysoperla Carnea) arrived, and I dispersed them in the tent to deal with the thrips. ------------------------------ D68. All is well in the tent, but now when the thrips are (hopefully) under control, it's time to address the VPD. It has gotten seriously out of wack due to dropping temps, plus I increased the humidity to make the environment more inhospitable for the thrips. The temps were low due to the light change as the new one is running a lot cooler, but the temps have also dropped outside. The heating in the lungroom has been off until now, so I turned that on and lowered the humidity threshold on my exhaust fan. Finally, I put my small humidifier in the tent, generating extra heat and decreasing the humidity. So far, the VPD has increased from a terrible 0.4-0.5 to an acceptable 0.9, and I'm hoping it will increase further as the ambient RH drops as we move into winter. ------------------------------ D70. We're at the end of the fourth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. The VPD has gone up to 1.0, which is a nice improvement to what it was only a couple of days ago. I haven't scouted yet for thrips, but I will give the lacewings a couple of days to do their thing and then look closer. However, I went to WAR against the spider mites we have in our ornamental plants in the apartment. I sprayed all plants with my homemade pesticide (capsaicin, alcohol, horticultural soap.) since I had it at hand. If that fails to knock the spider mites back, I'll bring out the neem oil instead. The infestations aren't bad (yet), but it would suck to get mites into my tents, so better to be proactive. ------------------------------

Day 8 - watered with 20 ml of water and prepared the vase for the transplant, used 10% expanded clay on the bottom of the vase, 20% of my own worm humus and 70% Carolina Soil(Turfa and Vermiculite). Day 9 - Pre watered the new soil with 700 ml of water and 4 ml of my own fertilizer and transplanted. Day 10 - nothing Day 11 - nothing Day 12 - nothing Day 13 - watered 700 ml + 4 ml my own fertilizer Day 14 - nothing

Struggled a bit with heat, had to put a fan over canopy. The hps has made a noticable difference in hardening up the buds. I rhink another 10 days to 14 days left. Update day 49: as recommended by @B4RNS I have reduced the last week of feeding to e.c 1 prior to a week of flushing! New video added with lots of heads!

Flowering week 3. Everything is ok. I made a light defoliation.

Was just using water with the last 2 plants this week. They both plumped up a bit and got more color going on, which is exactly what I was waiting for. Overall, it was a nice grow with only a couple hiccups.

11/30: I fed them today and supercropped the taller one a little bit. Just trying to encourage her lowers to compete for apical dominance. I raised the lights another few inches 12/1: I raised the lights about a foot because of a couple of taller plants, so these girls and most of the others are on a platform so as to be within 15 inches of the lights. Their platforms are some of the shortest, and I think they're about to catch up with the others.👍 12/2: Busy with life...didn't do much. Very cold days, so the high temp in the closet was 72f today👈 12/4: Switched to 13/11....afraid of it taking too long to flower and ending up with a bunch of pain in the ass 5-footers..

ZigkGrow is back in the game😎 Hello to everyone guys. I hope everyone has been growing epic buds since the day I finished my first diary. My first diary went pretty cool. I enjoyed a lot but knowing myself I knew that I had to learn more about growing cannabis to achieve higher levels and be okay with myself. So Zigk after many hours of researching, smoking and having fun came up to this day with this diary. Hope everything goes well and what I've learned will bear fruit in this grow (literally😅) Let's talk a little bit about my setup and the flashy "Automatic-Watering System" to shed some light in the tunnel. I bought a tent 0.40x0.40x1.40cm so we are pretty tight here but I am hoping for a "one and good" plant. I am going to use for lighting the led panel from Spiderfarmer SF-1000, big upgrade compared to the 250w CFL I had back then. I will be using coco coir in a 6lt airpot with high fertigation and a RTW/DTW hydroponic system. I've also got some pretty good meters. HM Digital PH-200 for pH and HM Digital COM-100 for EC. There is also a humidifier and a carbon filter from Airontek with a VKO 105m3/h exhaust fan. So how does the Automatic-Watering System works and how do I achieve high fertigation with that : There is a reservoir (blue box in my case) out of the tent where I keep my nutes mixed with water. Inside the reservoir is an airstone that provides oxygen and a submersible water pump connected to the pipe. The water pump plug is connected to a timer which I set when to run and for how much time. When the pump is on is sending nutes to my plant and I can control the flow of it with a valve. Practically I dont have to water by hand and I can achieve high fertigation which means watering with nutes many times a day. My plan is to water 5 times a day. Now is the time for the big question. Will this work and give me higher and better yields? I am not going to explain the science behind this theory because I want to keep the diary clean and talking about this would need many rows of words. You can search it on internet tho and find many articles. I am not capable of answering with confidence now and we will only be sure by watching the results. So let the time show us and have fun!😄

Week 8 Flower The last week of flush for these two. They were taken down on Day 56, after a 16 Day flush. I think Twin2 could have finished at 7 weeks, but of course I hadn't planned for this, or I would have flushed sooner. So she was taken to the originally planned 8 weeks. Twin2 has also foxtailed quite a bit, from only slightly higher temps and also because she's having a last attempt at catching any pollen in order to reproduce. Although the pots were slightly damp still when I harvested, it is best to take them down when they're dry. The only reason I didn't, was because I knew I'd be too busy the next day, and there were plants in veg that were desperate to be thrown into the flower tent! The pics do make them look wetter than they were though. Their fan leaves were taken off and they were each hung in seperate boxes, where they'll dry as slowly as possible for between 6-10 days. I dont suffer with very high humidity, so I'm able to do this without any issues. When I feel it is too humid, I simply burp the box for the first day or 2 once a day. The slower the dry the better the buds will taste/smell. Once she's dry enough she'll be trimmed and jarred for curing. It's going to be a pretty tough one for keeper pheno! They both have similar but very different smells. By that I mean, they both smell very floral and sweet, but T2 smells extra sweet (although definitely not as dense). That doesn't mean T1 doesn't smell just as nice. Hers buds are thicker and more dense, so even though I've favourited T2 in the pics, I think I'm leaning towards T1 still. But in all honesty it's still down to dry weight and the taste test! This can all be looked forward to in the harvest update! It's been a seriously fun diary with these two twins. More bulking this week no amber in the trichomes yet but there’s many milky area. Some leaves were yellowing out so I cut them off. Looks like maybe one to two more weeks? Possibly. Stopping feeding the incredible bulk every day and going to water, water, feed schedule until I see amber then nothing but water to finish.

She showed minor discoloration so I added very very little nute from GHE line of course AFTER checking and adjusting ph level first :)

Was such a pleasant harvest from start to finish, no issues at all. A tip for next time would be to have the SCRoG lower as I couldn’t really tuck any node sights this time round, smells absofuckinglutely amazing from 3RD week bloom onwards!

-Germinated seed in peat pellet and 3 days later sprout popped up -Put peat pellet with sprout in a 5 gallon fabric pot containing Pro-Mix HP -Placed into tent where temp/humidity is constant at 78F 70% -Gave a 3tbsp top dress of Gaia Green all purpose on day 6 -Watering a bit every 3rd day or so
