Overall a great strain too grow as grows with ease and seemingly without issues even with minimal care. With care she can produce hefty buds, as kept mine small my flowers reflect but still produced great smelling powerfully buds 🌱 Cycle finished in time essentially with ease and I'd be happy too recomend this strain from fastbuds. I will update with more images and videos upon timing complete and give dry weight ect, these girls wont bring much but smell absolute treat. Atm I have tried 1 small nug but still not ready not long untill can trim up, great oils and taste just need a little cure up once finished. Tried uploading longer videos but again says error 👎 have now added few extra videos

The NYC Diesel is growing well! A slight skunky smell is already developing around the plant, so I expect she is going to get quite pungent as she develops. Recovery after the FIM seems fine to my inexperienced eyes, and I will be starting LST with lawn staples/plant stakes later in the week. She has been growing low and bushy which is good for my space, and I expect her to explode with growth over the next few weeks. Now that she is growing quickly, I am going to slowly increase the megacrop and cal/mag accordingly. I don't want to overdo it, but I want the feeding well dialed in for when flowering begins.

After 32 hours we have our first hatch. Temperature is steady at 25 °C and humidity at 80 %.

Ok so I put a significant amount of time into this grow. Learned a ton (everything lol) as it was my first. After the final week, I decided to harvest when the trichs were milky and clear. Few amber here and there but time constraints meant I had to chop a bit earlier than I’d have preferred. I do prefer a more uplifting cerebral effect yet realize with an indica leaning strain, having all cloudy and maybe 25% amber would have been 👌🏼. My drying process began by chopping a plant at a time, I washed the buds to get the PM or traces off (also grime from outdoor city air). I used a big bucket and did hydrogen peroxide. In heindsight I would have used baking soda as well and did a two step wash. After washing them, I hung to dry with a fan until they stopped dripping then into the tent they went for drying at roughly 68 degrees and 55% humidity. I staggered the harvest and wet trimmed about 70% of the time with the latter 30% dry trimmed. This was done for convenience and to try both ways. I dried everything for about 12-13 days until the smallest stems snapped and the larger ones were borderline cracking. I started jarring everything with humidity meters, about a half oz per smaller widemiuth jam jar. The smell was never hay-like but did vary in strength and scent from plant to plant. Almost no seeds which was pretty great to see. One of the outdoor plants had quite a few seeds so I kept that separate. It ironically had the stinkiest floral smell. So what’s the total!! After curing in jars for about a month, I weighted everything and came out with 10.5oz of cured trimmed flower and about 2 oz of sugar leaf trim which I am making canna butter with and cooking. Made some reduculously strong cookies: 11 cookies from about 10 grams of trim. Ate two and was medicated for about 24hrs 😂. Some of the buds were super dense and cured down to 58 RH easily. There were a few of the large big buds that had mass but less density and fewer trichomes. These were more red-hair visually than the others. The smoke: surprisingly smooth. The effect is energizing and uplifting at first, with a nice sedative body feeling on the second half of things. Overall, I’m super happy with the result. Learned a TON and will be modifying my approach a bit next go-around this spring. Stay tuned!!!

Am Tag 60 wurde auf 12 / 12 umgestellt, also gehen wir jetzt in die erste volle Blüte Woche 😄 Beide machen sich gut und sind jetzt 70 cm groß. Die Kush ist etwas pflegeleichter und genügsamer als die Gushers, die etwas zickiger zu sein scheint. Mal schauen wer sich jetzt mehr streckt 📏😁✌️

PLUS NEED TO KEEP THE SOIL MOIST IS DIFFICULT OUTDOOR B/C THE SUN TEND TO TRY UP THE TOP 1/2" OF SOIL. I DO HAVE 1 STRAGLER STRUGGLING TO GROW. HOPEFULLY, SHE WILL CATCH UP. NOT GONNA TRAIN THESE. I WANT TO SEE HOW TALL THEY WILL GROW W/O TRAINING. WILL IT REALLY REACH OVER 1M FOR ME?

Day 85 - first day of Week 13 and she is going into darkness for 48 hours. Hasn't been watered since 2 days. Even though she looks the least done of all three, her trichomes are now a good 20-30% amber with the rest milky and some tiny bits of clear. I checked her buds on the calyx all around, from top buds to middle to bottom. She really shows a lot of heavily swolen calyxes, which I have never seen like that. I can now add that to the things I learned/experienced: calyxes swell a lot before the plant is finished. Let's see. My Girl Scout Cookies does not look like she even has calyxes. Funny individuals. Happy wedding cake day, almost 😍 Day 88 - out of darkness. She was in there for 2,5 days. Opening the drying tent she gave off a really strong smell of hash 😍wow. She has some nice looking buds and looks def. more done, but below her dress, she has some light fluffy buds. I have hung all of them now in the dry tent, after I removed some of the bigger fan leaves. One part of it, I think I want to low and slow dry in the fridge. I am interested in finding out about the difference in taste, when a more wholesome profile is retained. I bought a small tent (40x40cm), a small oszillating fan hung over the buds/on top of the tent. Due to size limitations, I have the filter on the bottom with the duct leaving the tent at the bottom connecting to an exhaust fan. Inside the tent I have a humidity sensor from an Inkbird Humidity regulator. Connected to that is a mini-dehumidifer and a humidifier. I have set it to 20°C (68F) and 50-55% humidity. I'm excited to see how long my dry will last this time. My first grow was drying way too fast in the middle of the heat wave last year with 30% humidity. The overview added to the pictures, I started making over Christmas. It was when I noticed, that I'm a so impatient, and that something must be wrong, especially in the first weeks. I get so obsessive, that I tend to overcare. Which she showcases beautifully in this overview. I hope this will calm me down the next time. Oh my haha Let's see what the final dry weight is. Hey guys ! What a blast ! 10 days drying at 55-60% RH and 15-18°c. 45gr/plant. 3 plants, 2 differents phenos 1 pheno is realy Kushy, with specials notes that remind me some sort of GMO terps, with no real notes of permanent marker. The second one definitly have permanent in it, smells realy special, like medical products. Thing smoke realy nice, realy terpy

Today Again a short update.

(12/21) Flowering continues to go well. Removed leaves from the bottom as well as some branches that aren’t going to reach the light. Switched to flowering fertilizers. Need to raise the temperature a little bit but will do that soon.

Day 38 of flower — week 6! 🌿 I’ve increased the distance between the light and the canopy to 40 cm after noticing some yellowing tips on a few fan leaves. I’m not sure whether it’s related to the light, but I’ll keep an eye on how they respond. Top leaves starting to turn purple, I am not sure if its lack of Nitrogen, phospor, or genetics of the flower. The tops are getting pretty chunky, so I think I’ll need to add some support stakes soon to help the stems carry the extra weight. I’m also trying to keep the humidity around 50–53%. I will try to add more videos during the week Overall, I’m pretty happy with how they’re coming along! 🙈
