I really like this strain! This was by far the biggest and frostiest plant I have ever grown. Most of the buds are hard indica style but a few branches grew more like sativa all buds coated in trichs. It took me 2 days to get this monster down. The picture of my hanging buds doesnt do it justice. I probably got a pound but not sure. I'll post dry weight and a smoke report in a few weeks.

05/21/24. Going into week 3 flower Things are going pretty good with these girls health and happiness wise. As for Betsy I’m honestly not thrilled with her be the trellis. I don’t think it’s really worked well for her and most of her growth hasn’t even made it to the trellis. Tree has really amazed me. The turn around she’s had is crazy. From a terribly structured, goofy, no branch having weirdo, to a decent looking little plant. I’m glad I didn’t toss her when she was little and I take back saying she wasn’t worth putting into the tent. She’s small, but strong, and the branch I broke has done fine in healing and is growing a bud so yay. :) Haven’t fed as I’ve still seen no reason to.. and somehow still see what seems like a bit too much N, which with no feeding..I’m still not understanding. Just been giving water with silica and calmag as of now. Still have these girls containers up on wood to keep them near the same as the rest of the canopy as possible. Lights at about 75% and 22 inches up. Temperature 73-82. Humidity about 50% I’m not sure what I’ll do as for under trellis cleanup here. B has most of her self under the trellis, so if I removed everything under I think she’d have like 3-4 branches LOL. Tree seems pretty chillen. I don’t think much even needs to be done. On may 6, the seedling broke through the earth. Seedling developed well in the first week. It was watered every day with a spray bottle (approx. 50ml a day) with collected rainwater in small circles around the seedling. After day 4, the first roots could be seen at the bottom of the pot. This weeks weather was pretty good for the start. The daytime temperatures fluctuated between 18 and 26 degrees in the first week, as you can see from the past weather data. (The weather report is added at the end of each week and is based on real weather events, i.e. it is not a forecast). As already mentioned the plant receives additional hours light from an LED bulb (17W, 4000K, 2500 Lumen) for the first days to make them more resistant to pests and severe weather conditions. She get around 3 hours additional light. In the early morning i move the plant outdoor.

Getting some clawing on some of my leaves. I honestly can't tell if this is from the fan. I have a large fan inside of the tent which may just become a house fan. I can't imagine what it would be like with four plants in there with this fan. I've upped my nutrients back to 4/4/8 ml/Gallon. I'm needing to water nearly twice daily. I'm debating adding in just some plain water to wash some of the salts out now that i'm at the half way mark. I may do this tonight. Today marks day 36! I am so proud of how well these plants are doing. They're requiring minimal training and I have defoliated some leaves and any dying leaves underneath. My biggest plant now has it's own light as it's quite a bit taller then the other two. The main kola is very close to the light. It's not flowering as heavily as the others though I suspect it will be my largest yielder. Thanks for checking out my grow!

Day 21 and the girls are really starting to take off.I did some LST on 3 of the 5 so far and will get the other 2 bent over in the next few days. Day 27 I watered with recharge tea and tied down some branches to get some more light into the center of the plants.I have increased the light intensity to 50 percent and slightly lowered the humidity this week.

week 3 of the flowering stage of MD XXL 🙌 1 of the 3 is realy not doing good and is yellowing alot, i dont know why this is, i think its heat stress combined with nutrient deficiency but im not 100% sure. I think shes doing better since i went from 3ml/l alga bloom to 4ml/l and adding 1ml/l green sensation to it. Other 2 MD XXLs are doing just fine, 😉 its still very hot where i live, around 30 degrees celcius every day, global warming all the way... i wonder what my harvest amount will be! For the people in the Grow Questions, i dont check PH/TDS simply because my budget couldnt sustain the equipment, ill get it next grow. Also the alga grow/bloom line from plagron states that you dont need to check PH levels because the algae in the nutrients will regulate it apparently, I also choose NOT to defoliate since i read alot of different stuff about it. I think i just let nature do its way and only remove those bad fans blocking my beautiful buds 👹

With this thick headbud, there is a risk of getting wet and bad weather and we dont want any budrod so we cut the headbud after 66 days from seed to harvest we took away some fan leafs and hung it up to dry. the lower buds may need a few more days. Its really unbelieveble how much resin she produces. smoking report is following
