So it has begun... I've had to start utilizing string to hold up branches by tying them to the ceiling rods and surrounding equipment. These plants are healthier and happier than my first grow, so I wasn't quite expecting them to blow up like they did, therefore my single-layer screen was not enough to support the branches. Not to mention the net used was store-bought and kind of sucks. I prefer my double-layer from the first harvest. The Mimosa is packing on some major frost, followed closely by the Glookies. American Pie trichomes seem to appear and ripen much closer to the ending stages of flower.

a few photos are missing, I was away:) To be honest, I've never had such a big automatic flower before, although the light intensity was really high all the days of its growth, it still went up ;) first experience with such a girl:) But she looks really good:) good luck to everyone:).

A week with lots of activity from my side, from the Gorilla's side, not so much. She stays behind and I can't find any other reason than genetics/seed quality. She is in exactly the same conditions as the other girls. I'm letting her do her thing. She will give some weed, well see how much. Maybe she is a late-bloomer. She does look lush and healthy so we do not understand but are learning. I put in the scrog net since her roommates need it and lowered the lights and started giving more flowering feed. The light is still awesome, the amount it puts out. We are gonna see what happens coming weeks with this strain. So far I am a bit disappointed and didn't expect this from this strain. We will never know if it was the age of the seeds or something else. What I do know is, it was the last time I use a third party seedbank, it is apparently too hard to keep fresh stock with too many strains. Until breeders put a production date o the packaging. Isn't it time someone said that? Cause lets keep it real, we are talking seeds that in any other case would have a cost of production of fractions of cents per seed. We pay what? 3 to 5 to maybe even 20 dollars a seed for an exceptional strain? Is it then too much too ask to put a friggin expiry date on the package? Or store them cooled? The breeder that does that and arranges a deal with third-parties that overstock can be sent back, packaging recycled, in exchange for fresh stock. Like any other fresh trade. For an industry making what, a billion worldwide, it is remarkable how many are still in the stoner with a garage / 80's trailer park, backwater funfair warranty, kinda customer service. Me: i grow organic weed for 30 years, these seeds were old Seed dealer: Yes but you failed to do a raindance on the rising moon, no refund. Me: but its for cannabis? Weed industry: Yes why we charged you double! Me: wow no germination after paying 20 bucks for seeds? Industry: They are all stoners, they won't notice.... Me: but this bong is made from toxic plastics? Headshop: yeas but it has this crumbling image of a leaf, 20 dollar! Can they get their shit together? Heeey! 👋 It's week two and everything went quite well I believe! The girls are growing and they look healthy! 💪 During the first days this week and while I was checking them I started to think how I could improve (and fix) what I did in my previous grow, specifically the veg. phase. I wasn't the brightest person in my previous grow because I left the lights at their maximum power during this phase to increase the overall heat of the tent (it was a winter where I live) and while that idea made total sense to me at that time later I found out that was a not the best idea at all 😰. By doing what I did it meant my plants were receiving way more energy they could handle and that meant the plants didn't grow as much as they could 😱😭 So, how could I improve that this time? The best way was to get a PAR meter so I could measure how much light my babies are receiving but those are expensive so the best option after was using the lux meter (or rather the RGB brightness sensor) that's available in my phone (most phones come with one) and by doing that I get a rough idea how much food my babies were receiving (in lux tho, not the best method but it helps to get an idea) 👌 The first days Pistachio and Matcha were getting about 8000 lux and as the week progressed I ended near 18000. Some websites said that amount was acceptable for young plants (they do not talk about the quality of the light tho). For the next week I plan to reach 24000 lux and stay around that 😊 I also think this week I'll move the girls to a slightly bigger pot and with each transplant I'll keep using mycorhizes (Mico Root are mycorhizes) to help the root development. D50. The start of the third week of flower, and all is well in the tent. She is very dense and super compact, and I think I need to defoliate her soon to increase airflow and prevent budrot. ------------------------------ D51. I removed a few leaves to increase light penetration and airflow. I also calibrated my Hygrometer since I've noticed lately that it seemed a bit off. Week 5 flower going well. Nothing much to report. Increased the drip as she is taking in more water. Turned up the fans to 100% for maximum flow, and due to that, the tent got a bit warmer and a bit dryer, so the exhaust fan and humidifier are working a bit harder. 75-77 deg F, 50-60% RH. Not sure if the lights are to intense or if it’s purple coming through, but at the highest tops there seems to be a bit of discolouration on the newest growth, just at the tips of the new buds. But I’m looking really close and it may be purple, not brown. I’ll keep an eye on it and turn the lights down if symptoms worsen. This plant is growing strong and uniform. Average frost so far. Hopefully she keeps growing well until the end. Thanks for the views…keep calm and grow on!

Week 3 males developing right on time! Pollen will be dispersing soon. So now trying to nail down who daddy was? Week 3 day 1 males looking very nice, no sign of either one showing female flowers( no hermaphrodite/ true male) but I will stress them more after reveg for severe stress test. For final results. Looks like I forgot to feed mom! Shit! But I did not.I used bio tone starter 5-1-1 by Espoma gonna feed in am. With tomato tone with myco 3-4-6 it's all I got and organic to boot 👍 Last grow with Captains cake went to 11 weeks 2 - 3 applications should get me to finish line. No flush should be needed, it's feeding the seeds growth. Looking at 07/01/2018 harvest. Fingers crossed! 05/05/2018 First burst of male pollen is flying in the air, gonna try to get video of it as I shake the males. I am brewing tea with worm castings unsulphured molasses,topped off with protilizer immediately after brewing it. Give them a little love (Tea) while they are making seeds👊

5/27/22: - Today makes 4 weeks since sprouting! 5/30/22: - Transplanted today into an earthbox with 14ft Build a Soil 3.0 Recipe. Have a light watering as well. Added Mykos to the transplant hole. 5/31/22: - did some training to bend branches to get lower nodes some light and to level out canopy before adding trellis net. 6/1/22: - Gave a foliar spray today with Build A Soil Quillaja Wetting agent, Horticultural Aloe and Horticultural Coconut - Top dressed with silica, craft blend, worm castings and kashi blend. All from build a soil 6/2/22: - filled up the earthbox resovoir for the first time today. - increased light to 90% ppfd around 500ish
