Finally harvested

Changed out the nutes. Dropped the calmag and the Silica. Using just the Plant Prod MJ bloom. Gorilla Zkittles looks to have one plant that stacking. The other looks like it may be smaller yields. Time will tell and density of the bud definitely changes the weight.

First off, I hope all who visit this journal watch the timelapse. I'm very happy with how it turned out. The GSC is in the foreground. Comparing the beginning to the end shows just how dramatically my plant has grown in the past week. This plant now has a photo-period neighbor! I have changed the light schedule back to 18-6 to accommodate. Her chronicles will be in a separate journal. Towards the end of week two, I noticed the leaves were forming brown spots that I took as a sign of calcium deficiency. To treat this, I used a gallon of (hard) tap water, adding calcium to the reservoir. Luckily this seems to have done the trick! The spots have been absent on all subsequent leaf growth. Sometime in the middle of this week, I had to re balance the pH from ~7 to ~6. Perhaps this pH fluctuation came from the tap water transfusion. In an effort to raise the RH in the tent, I've repetitively spilled a small amount of water on the floor of the tent. Doing this keeps the RH around 45-50%. I've made some other small changes to my grow setup as shown in the pictures. Prior to this week, I'd thought my plant was hopelessly behind developmentally compared to other user's because I'd compare their week two plants to mine. Luckily, this week has seen some growth! It's crazy how fast they shoot off after their first three-fingered leaves form. The first "real" set of leaves to grow in (not three-fingered yet), seemed to take forever to grow into their full size while not much else (besides the roots) seemed to grow. This week's three-pointed leaves have practically fully formed already. Alongside them, are the beginnings of yet more leaves! I'm not certain what I will do this next week. I may start LSTing this plant, though I'm not sure when exactly I should do this. My original plan for my plants was to implement a screen of green using a trellis. I have sense realized this may not be the best approach while using a DWC, because water changed would be made much more difficult. Have any of you DWC growers experiment with this? Is it worthwhile? I will likely not replace the water for another week, though that's not set in stone. I appreciate any advise regarding the training techniques I mentioned, water switch outs and anything else that may be relevant to this grow. I will more than likely ask a few designated questions. 2 weeks into flower and looking well so far, plants are nice and healthy, added boost to my feed this week started at a low feed and will up it over the next couple of weeks

This week I didn’t make any structural changes and just let the plant develop naturally I’ve now introduced Green Sensation and removed Power Buds from the feeding schedule Also, I forgot to mention that last week I set the LED to 100%, and it’s currently running at around 800 PPFD Everything is progressing well so far, now it’s just about maintaining stability and letting the plant focus on flower development 🌸💪

Great climate, ideal. No problems to report, for the moment the critters are focused on something else. If it doesn't get too hot, I'll start reducing irrigation and defoliate more. Removed nearly all big fan leafs to get maximum of light penetration to the lower buds and more airflow to prevent mold. Should have weared gloves because it was a sticky mess :D getting more and more smell. I think i will start filling up the bucket only with clear water for one or two more weeks to flush. Think its harvest time soon. Eventually i will swap the whole solution to clear water coming week. ——————— Nahezu alle großen Blätter entfernt, um den unteren buds so viel Licht wie möglich zu geben. Hätte Handschuhe tragen sollen war auf jeden Fall ne klebrige Sauerei :D Stinkt jetzt langsam auch ordentlich die Pflanze. Denke ich werde die nächsten Wochen nur noch mit klarem Wasser ohne Nährstoffe auffüllen um ein bisschen zu spülen. Denke in ein bis zwei Wochen kann geerntet werden. Eventuell tausche ich auch die ganze Nährlösung gegen klares Wasser aus im Laufe der Woche.

Flowering day 18 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) The ladies have recovered well from the cold thanks to the heating mat and have developed beautifully 👍. During the check today I saw that despite spraying neem oil 3 times, there are still a few trips :-( . Now I've ordered nematodes again specifically against trips for leaf and substrate. I will use that immediately 👍. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.3 l (nutrients see table above) Next week I will remove the lowermost shoots so that the energy goes into the upper buds. Fresh osmosis water was mixed with tap water and put into the 100 liter tank so that the water can stand and I'll have enough next week :-) Otherwise everything was cleaned. F week 7. I had nutrient lockout and ph started to swing down. I wasn't mixed my nutes right. I should have kept more break between adding the nutes and let it blend in peace.I lost some days because of that. Now everything should be under the control. The plant smells really strong. Cola nuggets are really hard but the trichomes are still mainly transparent.

Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.
