Hello. This is the end of week 3 and the beginning of week 4 of flowering. Opening the tent at 8 am and closing it at 8 pm has sent these girls in flowering. Now they are showing resin. I meant to get in here this week and do a final trim/prune, but life got in the way, so I'll get in here in the next few days to do that. Then I'll start pollenating the plants with the males that are already flowering in a different greenhouse. I'll put the clones into flowering today. I just have to place them in the tent when I close it up at 8 pm and take them out in the morning. After 3 weeks I'll put them in the other greenhouse with the males over them and let gravity pollenate them all. Once the clones have been under the males for a week, ... I'll kill the males before the pollen makes seeds in other peoples plants that will be going into flowering this late summer. Ok. Keep Growing Straight. Chuck.

Dec. 11 - Week 10 begins with a fresh sachet of Cucumeris and lots of plain water. Dec. 15 - I have removed the majority of the crispy leaves. Watering is a slow process now, 5ml takes almost 5 minutes to absorb into the soil, and about 25ml before there is any runoff if the soil was allowed to dry at all, like when I sleep. During my waking hours I just give it 4-5ml here and there as I go about my day. There are a few trichomes showing up so she's still progressing, still growing. This is such a hearty cultivar, it's a shame Humboldt Seeds may be retiring it, but excited for what the'll introduce next. Dec. 17 - While applying the first bit of water today I noticed something moving on the can, often it's a droplet from spilling, but this was different so I looked closer. It was what I assume to be a fairly young thrip (3-5 days) being harassed by a couple cucumeris, something I presumed was happening, but never actually thought I'd witness. Unfortunately for the cucumeries I squished the bugs they were after.

This is first plant of 4, so total dry weight will be updated in about 2 weeks. I made a quick video about bud development, because i couldnt find it anywhere on the web.

ZTRAWBERRIEZ and Gorilla Punch don't need much longer. In this week the pistols all were coloured in orange. The buds did their bulk perfectly. We got temps +30 degrees so in the greenhouse there Are +40 degrees. The following week should get cold and rainy. ZKITTELZ needs a little more time but also is doing good.

6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.

Hello Diary, Another week is behind me, Medusa F1 is incredibly fast, as you can see in the photos, already after the third week of flowering it looks quite mature. The smell is incredible, an extremely strong fruity aroma overwhelms me as soon as I open the grow box. The first Medusa (on the left in the grow box) is a little smaller and more mature than the second one, so I will probably harvest it first. But he certainly has another ten days if she continues like this. The flowers have filled in nicely, they are hard and very very sticky to the touch. After any work with plants, I need some time to wash my hands and remove the smell. Watering is more frequent, they become thirstier, but I no longer add any nutrients to them, only clean drained water to which I adjust the pH. on 6.0. The conditions at the Farm are excellent, the temperature is around 25 degrees, while the humidity is around 40%. Here's how it looked last week. 02/03/2023. - Day 37. Watering. I prepared 8 liters of water, let it sit for 24 hours to evaporate as much chlorine as possible, added Plagron's Lemon Kick to bring the p.H down to 6.0. I watered both plants evenly with that amount. 06/03/2023. - Day 41. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as four days earlier. 07/03/2023. - Day 42. They are going slow but steady. Holding back on watering to help fight the gnats. They were with too many last week. Some yellow points because of an 'on the limit' foliar feed. Nothing to worry about. Still very lush greens. I'm thinking the main reason for their slower growth, is the fan that is on high. My mission from the start s to get thick stalks and branches, to facilitate larger buds. Also, I'm pushing the SP 3000 to its max for the age of my plants, they don't have to reach for the light, resulting in shorter, bushier plants. I don't mind, I think the flowering stretch will make up for that and fill the tent. Still very happy with the SP-3000 from Mars Hydro, a much more constant and manageable climate in the tent, a dream to work with. I made a thank you video for @MarsHydroLED, of course, to also show off my music. I'm thinking one or two more weeks before resetting the light schedule for flowering.
