I took off some leaves that were blocking some bud sites to increase light penetration. I’m still giving them only water with calmag due to the nitrogen toxicity from veg… I think they are 4-5 weeks away from harvest but we’ll see🙏🏻

Purple Pheno!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ripening nicely. She is super smelly. Smells like fruity gape. Have 2 carbon filters going and it doesn't even touch the smell. Noticed a little burn on the tips of the leaves so backed off a little on the nutes. Coasting toward the finish line. Maybe three weeks?😁

Days 33-35 Both ladies have been transplanted and moved into the Veg tent! If you look in the video you can see the setup. Both are in 10.5"x10.5" square nursery pots approx 3Gal each. Both were put into happy frog soil using azos and recharge during transplant. I have them under an optic 8+ with a cob as supplemental lighting Day 37: A light defoliation day today, especially for #1. I removed all the mature fan leaves that were blocking any bud sites or nodes at all. Essentially leaving the top 2 mature leaves in tact. I honestly did not want to do this! It was heart wrenching to mutilate such a beautiful naturally growing plant 🤷‍♂️ practicality wins in the end tho. I removed the 2 oldest lowest fan leaves from #2 as well. More for sanitation reasons. They werent8blocking anything but the uh were dragging in the dirt and starting to fade anyhow. I actually kept 1 leaf. My 1st time ever doing this. The leaf is so neat, overlapping itself. *transplant update day 37* In my very green opinion they look to be struggling a bit with the transplant. I like to wet my medium prior to placing the rootball in, sometimes it's great and the roots chase it. Sometimes they get a little water logged and it takes a week b4 watering. I'm thinking it's the latter in this scenario. Day 38; #1's top fan leaves are rolling in again. I figured it was heat but the surface area doesn't get above 78° which from what I've read is fine. Maybe it's a strain issue? Looks very imdica, ma uh be is accustomed to a cooler climate? Day 39: I lowered #1 about a foot further from the light. She is still all curled up tho. It isn't heat. I watered them at transplant per my usual routine. 2 other plants stranded extremely bad and these 2 are acting goofy. I probably over did it that day Day 42 and 43 In day 42 CMOG #1 needed some water. It's her 1st drink since transplant. #2 on the other hand is drinking a bit less. I also took 2 upper fan leaves off #1(I hate doing it, but gotta promote those bud sites!! Day 43nothing really to report. I videotaped myself plucking a couple lower fan leaves. I'm raising the fan a bit more above #2 to keep wind stress down. Day 44: 🚨⛈️Emergency!!⛈️🚨 Power is out! My light cycle is as follows: on at 6pm off at 12pm. Its 2:45am right now and the power has gone out. Which was wierd because it went out b4 the storm hit! It was fricken midday when the outtage happen!! My poor Chocolate Mint OG 😖 keeping humididty down is gonna be hard and my grow is very far from and natural light source even if they were on the same cycle as nature 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ if ur reading this say a quick prayer! 🌸 Flowering Week 8 — Mid Bloom Madness! 🔥❄️ Week 8 and she’s officially in her prime. Buds are swelling harder every day — stacking tight, pistils turning color, and the frost level just exploded this week. Trichomes are covering everything like sugar dust ❄️✨ Aroma also jumped to a new level… sweet, fruity and loud as soon as the tent unzips. Energy is still strong, leaves healthy, and she’s cruising through mid-bloom like a champ. counting down to the final push — next weeks should be all about density + resin 👑🌿

I should’ve scrog’ed with my strongest two plants. Trying to pull some very heady buds so went all out on Advsnced Nutrients. Going to A/b test with budget synthetics next grow

Harvest is coming and the plant is fully ready to it. Trichomes are cloudy and the buds are big and dense. The last 48 hours, plant will be in darkness to rise the number of terpenes and improve smell and flavour and I will not water it anymore. I cutted off the bigger leaves in order to make the plant know that only last hour left. I'm really proud of her and this was a really nice experience. I will repeat it someday, be sure about that.

I got a new, bigger light. The old one just didn't seem to be doing much at 25w. This new one is 150w. Been keeping up the same feeding. Every feeding is 200ml. Every other one has 5ml of the grow big. Now that it seems to be at flowering stage, I'll be moving onto big bloom for nutrients next feeding. Staying at the same 5ml. I hear with plants less is more. I'd say I'm watering plant two every three days. Plant one has miracle grow in it. So I water it maybe once a week. The m.g. retains water for a very long time.

Day 64 - Starting week 10 today and she was dried out and read for water so she got two gallons of plain pH’d water. Other than that, there’s not much to speak of other than I’ll do a little defoliating on Thursday so a couple lower bud sites will be opened up more. Day 68 - All looking good still and looking like she doesn’t have much more time left, she’s finishing quicker than I thought. Her trichs are about 75% milky and 25% clear so I think she’s got about 2 weeks or so left. She was pretty dry so she got one more round of nutes and then will be just plain water till the end. Day 69 - She’s still chugging along nicely. No issues from her feeding of nutes yesterday and she’s still fattening up each day. Couple little spots where she could definitely still fill in but she’s got a little bit of time left so I’m sure she will. Day 70 - The end of week 10 and looking over the trichs today, she’s just about all milky, was pretty hard to find any clear and picked out a couple amber in there. So it’s looking like she’s got a week or a little more left but will make my decision to chop when she has the amber I’m looking for, about 25-30%.

Day 65 Update: Watered both plants with almost a gallon until runoff. Plant #2's water was dosed with Terpinator at 25ml/gal. 11 days left of flushing on Plant #1. This will be Plant #2's last nutrient watering, as she will start the flushing process next watering. Also added two yoyo hangers and two stakes to Plant #2 as her branches are getting heavy (not complaining 🤷‍♂️) Day 68 Update: Starting flush on Plant #2 today. Plant #1 has 8 days left of flushing. Watered both plants with almost a gallon of pH balanced water until runoff.

July 5 - The girls are still doing awesome. temps are between 21-26. Humidity is 40-50. Still feeding every 24-36 hours with 3L per plant. July 6 - They are doing good. Showing lots of flower sites now. Unfortunately I did not get any pictures today. July 7 - Tons of progress since last week. I don't see any signs of any problems, and still no pests! The smell is getting A lot stronger as it starts to flower more July 8 - Still doing there thing, no problems, temps and humidity is fine. Have been feeding every 24 hours now as they seem to be really thirsty July 9 - Super happy with how they are doing. No issues yet. Smell is heavier, and tons of bud sites showing up. Only issue is they are growing pretty uneven. July 10 - Time to get a even canopy! First time doing some HST. I also did some defoliation. One of the stems split open a bit but it seems to be doing just fine. I did he HST and defoliation in the morning, i then took pictures of 12 hours later and everything seems just fine! July 11 - Everything seems to be a lot more even and the broken stem doesn't seem to affect the growth.

Responded well to all kinds of training, beautiful fall colors with purple dominant. Will add more comments post cure. Sampled some bud cured for 3 days after drying for 7, love the uplifting sativa feeling i'm getting from it. Of the branch that i got that sample from (about 1/5 of the whole plant) I got 13.5g. Ended up with around 2.5 oz dry!

Can’t get the humidity down but it’s within vpd so hope that’s okay
