Here we are about a month and a half in and we’re still veg, not even a sign of gender yet no pistils at all. Super bushy keeping up with the low stress training each one has approximately 10 tops.

Everything is going well for the ladies so far. Really can't complain. Plenty of stretching for the durban kinda put me in a situation like this strain usually does to me lol. Looks like I'll be tieing her down around the tent supports again to keep her from kissing the lights. No,I think we're all done stretching and we should be able to kick back and watch the buds stack!

Training, tucking, wireing, defoliation.. I tucked all the branches on each side, thst way i will fill the pot space and shoot them branches up, later on i plan to add bamboo sticks if needed. Nutes are at their maximum recommended value and i can see her doing just fine, no signs of burn or defficiency..

Week 5 (11/30 - 12/6): Things are getting excitingggggggg!! I had to get some gloves because the buds are getting sticky -icky -ickyyyyy. I mean over these two weeks you wouldn't even recognize this tent. The flowers have really packed on some size and the smell is increasing by the day. It feels like we are coasting and just need to keep things watered at this point, but we have our lights up as high as they can go, so we are hoping we don't get too much more of a stretch from the plants. Next week will be our last topdress for these plants with our Gaia Green 2-8-4, and from there we will have about 4/6 more waterings with our terp tea and we will be just about done with our feeding schedule. We are considering another layer of trellis, and we had to upgrade our PH pen AGAIN.. so to all new growers, don't waist the money, get the Blue Lab from the start and take good care of it. We learned our lesson with $20. Otherwise, I don't have much to say other than stand by for some big ole harvests coming your way. Check out our before and after pics!

D57/FD29 - So, at the last few days of week 4, the SCP had a good push to itself...put on about 6-9" so had to do some bending/leaning of some pretty stiff stems. Unfortunately the only way for them to go was towards the tent walls so drops the light but they're getting WAYYYY over the DLI they should be getting without supplementation of CO2 but its not doing them too much harm. They're drinking a ton but not taking on as much feed (as I've come to expect now in flower) so dropped the base and bloom by 10% (same recommended ratio of 1:1) and kept the PK9/18 booster in there at (what would be recommended) strength for this week...its the same as last week but week 1 (week 4 of flower) of PK9/18 should have been double...didn't want to overdo it as when I used recommended strength 1st time I got it, it created some serious root zone acidification (Which could have been all the K getting used up but was a mare getting the pH up from 4.something every day!!!). Did my usual root flush/wash before adding feed as the EC had crept up to 2.2 (and I know from experience, that starts messing with your numbers if you don't wash that out right) and took about 50L-60L to get the tank to 0.3EC (base is 0.2) was was a lot of salt sitting on/in the roots. Had a ton of underscreen dead leaf to pick up and just cut some wee straggly offshoots (I know, bad idea in flower but they were basically dead/no nutritional value left so basically a bug magnet). Still waiting on Bluelab to send me the RMA approved pH pen...been 2 weeks now since the RMA was approved and still no postage - using an "essentials" pH meter and just dipping in Calibration Fluids between each feed add to ensure some accuracy (As you can see from my recipe page, I like to know what the feed does to the pH - also gives an idea on what they're feeding on when you see pH swings in a different direction that expected). Geekbeast also got back to me. In all fairness, I've been dealing with them direct (Got the light fixture from Alibaba, direct from China - big gamble, right???) and they have been more than helpful. I have been telling them about the light randomly coming on at 5% (lowest brightness) and provided evidence; turns out someone else now noticed the same issue with the Remote App controlled variant and they believed it was a loose control board/wire. They said they did some stuff and that fixed it but I also thought mine was fixed by forcing the dimmer to 0% and it still randomly happened (even though it didn't do it for weeks) so the other person may still get a surprise!! 😋 So, I took out the driver today, pulled out the control board and all wires seemed good and no looseness in the control board (although it does look slightly bent as the Spade for the IR/UV switch isn't fully bedded in). But, like I say, in all fairness to Geeklight, they're posing me a new control board tomorrow from China AND giving me the longer driver cables so as I can put the driver outside of the tent! Give me a bit more room for my Flower Initiator and great to see them honouring the Warranty. Apart from that, wish the SCP would start to set flowers better, they're still looking a bit weak up top but stems appear to be stacking. Hopefully now that last push happened (and hopefully all pushed out!!!!), they will concentrate on buds only...this may be a 10+ week-er - which again, cant really afford as growing tent is drying tent!!! Its supposed to be a 75% indica so would expect bigger/quicker flowering but not showing too many symptoms of being mostly indica...maybe not quite a fully stable genetic line yet?? I dunno but its running slower like a sativa - even with the flower initiator and the late push would maybe imply that too??? Funnily, its tent mate, Red Hot Cookies is 60% sativa and has set flowers quite well so far - showing colour to the tips of the pistils...just wish it would start turning pink!!! This week the girls have stretched for the last time then the fun will really begin with the buds blowing up. Alaskan purple has the frosty sugar leafs which tells me she will be more potent at this point of the grow cycle. Both of the girls are in good health but Alaskan purple has 2 leafs that look like nutes burn from the feeding last week of the ff nutes, so only distilled water this week to kinda flush her then back to nutes feeding, which will be perfect timing for buds to start coming in. Overall it's rained a lot where I live which has made humidity a problem so I got another dehumidifier for my room to help with that problem other than that this grow is on track for a nice harvest.

Yep, I have been so lazy keeping my diary up to date, life gets in the way sometimes🙄 Im on week 19 or there abouts. So a few things, As of about a week ago, I thought I was close to harvest, I had advice to start harvest when around 60% of the pistils had turned color and curled along with the trichomes becomming cloudy. I cant really get a good look at the trichomes no matter what I try but a couple did appear amber which I was told you can probably get away with a few amber spots, but it is a good indication that its probably a good time to harvest? With that, I thought it be a good time to start flushing, so I started using just clean water to start the process at about week 18. Started getting from what it looked like last time, cal deficiency, so I added cal mag, slowly cleared but now it looks burnt either from nutrients or light🤦‍♂️🏽 4 days ago I noticed a sudden growth spurt with new growths throughout the buds, as you can tell in the pics. So I went back to adding just bud candy in the water..Stupid idea? And now today I have noticed fuzzy white mold and yellow gold spots in the soil. I dont know if it is harmful or a good indication? Should I just harvest it or let it grow further? Some advice would be much appreciated at this point. Other than that, it has been a super long and slow grow and I am so keen for it to be harvested already as you know, it is my first grow after all. Peace✌️😊

Apologies for the delayed updates.. Week 5 and she is in flower...She experienced no training at all.. I was abit skeptical about growing her outside..even though she is not that big and branchy.. I just wanted to see how she would respond. I do know that the yield will be jeopardized but it's all in good sport hehe 😜 😉.. Feeding: She has been in living soil since a baby added ocean mix dry amendments to the top soil once I saw her first pistils..

5/30/2023 Week 8- Day 1 of Flower (Day 117 overall) So two of the buds in the back fell over, it was definitely because they are getting heavy, I had to pick them up and tuck them in to the net to help support them they were so covered in Resin that I had to use Rubbing alcohol to clean my hand was so super sticky from touching the bud will have to use gloves from now on if I need to touch the buds. Other than that I sat back and got to watch the ladies grow. 5/31/2023 Week 8- Day 2 of Flower (Day 118 overall) Just watched them grow today.. :-) 6/1/2023 Week 8- Day 3 of Flower (Day 119 overall) I noticed on two of the bigger Fan leaves small signs of Calcium Deficiency so I fixed my Chart to up the Cal mag from .5 to .75 for the water change on Saturday. Other than that I let them keep growing on Auto Pilot, frost is everywhere including all the way ont the Big fan leaves this strain is super Frosty... 6/2/2023 Week 8- Day 4 of Flower (Day 120 overall) Auto Pilot engaged today.. Growers Hands stayed away just looked and apricated the beautiful buds that are forming. Tomorrow Water Change day! 6/3/2023 Week 8- Day 5 of Flower (Day 121 overall) There were a couple of sucker buds right up front today so of course I had to get rid of them. Other than that Water Change Day.. Drained and reset the system. Since I am taking this to 10 weeks Week 7 and Week 8 Nutes repeat. I did want to get a picture of where they stems meet to make an arch I thought it looked really cool and would be a fun pic. I also wanted to focus on the color differences between the two. I am amazed between this lightside/darkside, yen/yang, thing going on in the tent.. Plant #2 is decidedly bright green, like more light with hints of yellow throughout, and plant #3 leaves are getting darker and it has hints of purple coming in throughout the buds. It really is an amazing and fun contrast especially with the name Yoda Soda to have a type of light side/ dark side theme going on with the Two plants.

I harvested the bottom half exactly one week after the top :)) I could weight precisely this time, 126g wet for the 4 branches with stem. Should be ~100g of wet buds, 150g for the top so ~250g in total (40/50g dry maybe?). I’m happy with that, it’s more than I expected for this plant First half is 30.1g trimmed :) I’m trimming the next half in one week
