this week is going really good! I am flushing right now with just plain water. I was supposed to harvest but I decided to give it another watering since the ppm values were the maximum recommended for harvest and I want as less fertilizer in my buds as possible😁 next time I'll water I'll give them 4/5 liters per plant and when the soil is kinda moist and about to dry I will give them 24 hrs of darkness to increase resin and then FINALLY chop everything off! I'm really excited to try them! they smell really amazing.

Welcome to Week 5! The weather took a bit of a turn this week. The sun decided to hide behind the clouds a lot more, we had our fair share of rain, and the nights got noticeably chillier, dropping down to a minimum of around 10°C. Despite the less-than-ideal outdoor conditions, the ladies pushed through and continued to develop remarkably well. I’ve kept up with the LST (Low Stress Training), specifically focusing on keeping all the main tops at an even height so we get a nice, uniform canopy. Watering has stayed consistent and easy—just giving her a drink of tap water + CalMag about twice a week. Appearance & Flowering: She has really stretched out horizontally and become quite wide! She is more bushy right now, and those signature dark leaves are just a treat to look at. But the most exciting news of the week: she is officially starting to transition into the flowering stage! The first pre-flowers are showing, and she seems totally unfazed by the colder nights. My lemon cherry Runtz is coming along nicely. It’s a strong plant from our the door. I think I transplanted my plants a little too early this time and caused a little slower growth this past week. They grew a decent amount but I can tell I did some root damage and I over watered at trasplant. Even with all my mistakes the plants still look great and healthy. Every plant from fastbuds so far has had the best resistance to stress. I’m excited to see this one come along

Over the past week, the little ones have started to bloom and are stretching out quite a bit. The branches are thinner than on other plants; I'm curious to see what the buds will look like.

I started using Botanicare Hydroguard to take care of the roots and it works great. Got them back healthy. The light leaks to the reservoir have hopefully been resolved as well. The smell coming from the box isn't too strong and will catch you off guard here and there, but not too noticeable. You can also get a good look at the trichomes forming on the buds and leaves.

Die Keimung ist gelungenen und erstmal ist alles okay. Nachdem die Keimwurzel ca 1 cm lang war kam er in einen 10cm breiten und durchwurzelbaren Torftopf. Mit dieser Größe hoffe ich, dass sie eine Weile im Keimzelt bleiben können…

Having quite a bit of trouble with fading leaves, burning and just can't figure out what is going on. I've top dressed on Saturday to try give her a boost, it looks like potassium deficiency but it also looks a touch like toxicity too... very confusing.... so what I'm going to do is just give water until the end now. 4 weeks ish should be ok and I reckon I can limp her home if shit hits the fan. Hoping its just deficiency and the top dress will fix it. I've not overfed with amendments so I don't understand it really. The buds are still growing no problem and calyx are starting to swell in places... all a bit weird.

Day 70: Brain Cake seemed thirsty and wanting more nutrients: Topped off water yesterday, added +3ml of hyro A&B and +1ml of power roots & pure enzyme. EC went from 0.8 -> 1.0 Day 71: Brain Cake is showing symptoms, many top leaves have deformed tips and light interveinal chlorosis starting on opposite end of the tip and dark interveinal chlorosis at the end of the tip. EC is 0.8-0.9 (not very accurate meter :/ ) Not sure whether this is a nutrient deficiency or excess/lockout. The ph has been between 5.6 and 6.5 most of the time the past week, the reservoir change was 4-5 days ago. Plagron indicates to give more hydo A&B in proportion to their roots and enzyme nutrients in the first weeks of flowering (during veg these are given in proportion), so maybe these new problems are due to the different balance of nutrients that I may have times wrongly. Finally the problems may be due to the water reservoirs holding approx 12 liters in practice and the Brain Cake drinks approx 2-3.5L a day so maybe the water res is very unstable but after a day the PH usually remains in range and the EC usually drops a bit the first day after adding nutrients and stays pretty stable the rest of the week. Any suggestions are more than welcome! Day 72: Yesterday evening made an upgraded reservoir for the Brain Cake dwc (as we suspect the leaf problems may be due to instable water because of small res and roots nearly completely filling the res). Now the Brain Cake is in a 60L box with approx 32L of water, EC set to 1.0 and ph 5.7-6.5. She seems to be happy, nice and perky this morning. FYI the roots seem more orange in the video! They are on the white side though, just a bit of stain from the nutrients but looking very good overall.

Last couple of days... No watering from today, (Day 129) and the light will be switched off as well from tomorrow (Day 130) so I will harvest them approx on Day 132 or 133 on the 18th week :)

The girls have survived another week ❤️ I did a light defoliation and have been monitoring the RH closely. We have had a very damp week here, and the RH kept climbing and had my fan working hard. They are starting to plump up and fill in 😋. They have also started to slow their drinking habits, instead of watering every three days, it has moved to every 4 now. Just a couple of weeks left, I think I will be harvesting these over Christmas 🎄, and will have some great bud ready for the new year! 🎉🎊🍾
