Hey Guys! Super excited this week! I've really been wanting to try growing outdoors, so I built a cheap hoop house! Got most of this stuff for the frame from Lowes under 300$. All the soil products I got from GrowGreenMI. Some really cool people out there. One thing I'm super worried about is drainage. Right now those holes are about 4 feet deep and they've got about 4 inches of water in them already. What's been cautioned is that, eventually, about 2 months in these plants roots will grow and reach the bottom and cause root rot to form. One of the biggest things I was trying to be wary of was causing root rot. This was also the biggest precautionary measure I took when mixing the soil. Adding the extra perlite, coco, and clay pebbles. Best advice right now is to build the soil up on the holes another 16 to 18 inches and possible stick a PVC pipe down to the lowest drainage point of the hole to allow some of that natural occurring water to evaporate. Any advice anyone has on it is welcomed! Making a compost tea for the soil outdoors, will probably put 2 cups in each RDWC bucket as well and let that do it's magic for a day or so before nutrient change. Raised the bed about 14 inches as well! All the seeds sank! Off to a good start! Lol

Von links nach rechts: Sleepy Joe, Lava Cake, Runtz. 02. Mai 2025 Die Wurzeln sind jetzt sehr gut entwickelt. Seit dem Einschalten des Lüfters haben die drei gut 20l Wasser verbraucht. 😅 Sie wachsen so unglaublich schnell, dass sie in drei Tagen fast die LED berührt haben. Dadurch leichte Verbrennungen an den Spitzen der Lava Cake. Viel höher darf die Runtz nicht werden, sonst muss ich die Spitze nach unten binden. Das Zelt ist nur 180 cm hoch. Der Lüfter des Filters läuft jetzt schneller mit 50% Leistung. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit lag heute bei 75% und musste aus dem Zelt. Das führt aber auch dazu, dass die Wärme abgesaugt wird. Wird Zeit, dass es draußen konstant wärmer wird. 03. Mai 2025 Die Lüftung habe ich über den Trenntrafo wieder eine Stufe langsamer gestellt. Aber auch vorher lag die Temperatur nachts bei 22°C, also alles im grünen Bereich. Licht: Eine der zwei Sanlight S4W strahlt exclusiv seitlich auf die Runtz. Normalerweise würde ich das nicht so machen, aber die Runtz wächst sehr luftig und hat sehr großen Abstand zwischen den Blättern. Sie sieht gesund aus und wächst gleichmäßig. Die Rückseite der Pflanze zeigt keinen Lichtmangel durch unsymetrisches Wachstum. Eine Beleuchtung von oben wäre aktuell schlechter. Ich muss schon sagen, die Runtz überrascht mich immer wieder und ich mag das zwar hohe aber sehr luftige Wachstum! Die Sleepy Joe und die Lava Cake sind vergleichbar hoch und teilen sich die zweite Sanlight S4W. Auch ihnen geht es gut, etwas größer wachsende Pflanzen sind mir aber lieber. Wasserbrauch: Bisher 30l. Heute den kleinen Tank mit 20l Wasser inkl. 64 ml Canna Aqua Flores aufgefüllt. 34 ml pro 10l bei hartem Wasser gemäß Rechner von Canna. Beim letzten Grow habe ich noch pH-down verwendet, das ist laut Canna nicht nötig und funktioniert aktuell perfekt! Canna: "Es sind pH-Stabilisatoren enthalten die ein Einstellen des pH-Werts unnötig machen." Quelle: https://www.canna-de.com/canna-aqua-flores Die Pflanzen wachsen wie beim letzten Grow kräftig und gesund, ohne Anzeichen von Mangelerscheinungen. Und sie sind nicht übertrieben dunkelgrün durch zu viel Stickstoff. 😱

Afghan was a beaut and she would have stayed up longer if the rain had let up. The denseness of her buds is what we admire although it is also why she started to rot. The scent of her is strong and mouth watering. Overall we would grow her again outdoors, this was a strange year with the weather and it is unfortunate but we are quite sure every strain would rot just the same. Hopefully next year has a better balance but that is the way it grows outdoors. As for curing, it was not typical for us at all. First she was washed but Afghan was not trimmed nor was she properly managed, she hung for six days and went in a paper bag for moisture redistribution way to late. Aside from that we had to use a triple beam for an estimated weight and we were unable to get a wet weight so please take the number and outcome lightly. Bone dry does not mean she won’t be enjoyed, she will be made into hash and or edibles.

these buds have sat out for a few days be4 being trimmed completely and jarred.. i will continue to burp them daily for a few weeks and then test a bud or 5.. the smell of this stuff is truly amazing and i can not wait to pack it in the bong

Day 15: From today, 600W LED is placed. Ventilation runs at the same time when the lamp is on +15min after the lamp is off. 20 hours on, 4hours off. Fertilization starts on Monday, Wednesday, Friday with Epsom salt, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday with bat guano. Water intake 25ml per plant per day plus some triggering spray. They are a bit small so the ventilation "swings" them especially Blackberry Kush and the LSD-25 because they are tallest ones. Day 16: This is new thing for them ventilation and strong lamp. They swing and they need some time. This is why they look weird a bit because they keep swinging and the head of the plant tries to be placed where the light is but sometimes they fell. Day 17: Not a good idea to use triggering spray when the 600W lamp is on it burns. My Colorado Cookies has burnt a bit... Day 18: They are stronger the ventilation does not shock them that much. Glueberry OG needed some assist. Day 20: Yesterday I did not take any picture. They are all cool growing nicely. They are strong enough and no more problem because of the ventilation they are stable.

01/11 - Comenzo su séptima semana en etapa de floracion. Se encuentra perfecta, nunca cultive una planta tan perfecta como esta, los cogollos son grandes, bañados en tricomas y tiene un olor muy fuerte. Sin dudas es una genetica que volvería a cultivar, no tuve ningun problema con ella. Entro en lavado de raiz, estoy utilizando de la marca de Advance Nutrients el fertilizante Flawless Finish para acelerar un poco las lo que es es lavado. Edit from 19th May. Literally 00:09 Pre-Flowering. Fat Banana looks like Hermie. Royal Critical = clean pre-flower. Edit from 19th May. 16:26 Fat Banana had balls sack and pistils growing all over the place. I nuked everything that had balls on it. I left only top node with pistils. Royal Critical is full of pistils, no balls. Now I wish I had photoperiod seeds instead of automatics. I would give Critical 1 extra week in veg. She is around 10-15cm smaller then Fat Banana. I switched the lights back to 400W. Edit from 20th May. 14:45 I think 32C is maximum what these plants can handle. With 600W I was reaching 34C on some top leaves and that could possibly turn the Fat Banana into hermit (she was the tallest). I open the tent a little (front doors), I put big-ass fan on second gear blowing strong wind through the mesh-window of a tent. I put the lights straight up to the ceiling, I literally can't put them any higher. Fat banana is now 58cm tall and around 80cm away from the light. Royal Critical is now 41cm tall and around 100cm away from the light. 50% Humidity 28C under the canopy/on the ground under the leaves 31C Air temperature. Fat Banana fan leaves temperature: 28.5C Fat Banana center/middle of the plant: 30.9C Royal Critical fan leaves temperature: 27.5C Royal Critical center/middle of the plant: 27.8C NOTE: Royal Critical ugly/yellow leaves have higher temp: 29-30C The rest of small plants range from 28 and 32C Surface area/soil temperature DRY: 35C Surface/Soil temp. Today I gave them second dose of nematodes. There is really very little Fungus Gnats around now. Sometimes, occasionally one or two "teenagers" or "baby" Gnats would fly out from bottom of pot or top of the soil after watering but that's like nothing comparing to what I had at the beginning. Edit from 23th May @ 2pm So I'm reading about VPD now and I think, this is what is happening in my tent right now. High temps but RH at right levels makes the plant comfy in that zones. Right now plants sitting at 30.6C @ 55% RH So I'm sitting at 1.27 VPD? If I could lower my temps to 29C and keep RH at 55% that would be 1.20 VPD (which would be perfect) N o t B a d R o o k I e Edit from 24th May @ 11:24 am So in last 3 days the temperature outside my house is dropping + raining. So that means I have perfect VPD in my tent now. We are sitting at 30C @ 50-55% RH. Most plants have praying leaves, even Lady Banan stops being moody and just start fucking flowering like it should. Finally. But I can see she wanna grow even more upwards, like wtf, this is not 3 meter tent, its only 2.2m, chill the freaking out Lady Banan... So I basically just tackle the fan leaves in the way, where, when fan leaves are growing bigger, they push the side branches more to the outside (apologize for my English but you can check out the pictures and see what I mean). This week the girls have stretched for the last time then the fun will really begin with the buds blowing up. Alaskan purple has the frosty sugar leafs which tells me she will be more potent at this point of the grow cycle. Both of the girls are in good health but Alaskan purple has 2 leafs that look like nutes burn from the feeding last week of the ff nutes, so only distilled water this week to kinda flush her then back to nutes feeding, which will be perfect timing for buds to start coming in. Overall it's rained a lot where I live which has made humidity a problem so I got another dehumidifier for my room to help with that problem other than that this grow is on track for a nice harvest.

My Purple Kush plant is still the smallest in the tent, but hopefully it'll produce some good buds by the end. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

So I am halfway through my first harvest and I'm starting to feel like I may have been impatient! Would appreciate any advice or constructive criticism from any experienced growers out there! Do you think I harvest the rest of my plant now or leave it a while? Any tips/hints on the best way to maximize bud density? Thanks in advance
