My second growroom is built and the girls have moved in. This new strain combines two well-received parents, Juanita la Lagrimosa (Spanish for "Juanita the Tearful") and Royal Highness, which are themselves genetic hybrids of other precursor strains: Juanita the Tearful from Queen Mother and a Mexican-Afghan blend; Royal Highness from Dance Hall and Respect 13. On and on the strains date back in agricultural time, each new variety with its own unique smell, taste, color, high and medical benefit. However, in the past decade, a goal of all this tinkering has been what some producers are starting to call “Royal Respect” with the soul of marijuana's benefits going toward both body and mind. Painkiller XL is notable for its near-equal representation of 6 percent tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 7 percent cannabidiol (CBD), achieved by a seed that's 70 percent sativa and 30 percent indica. While the sativa variety of cannabis is widely known for producing more of a mental, cerebral high, and indica has a reputation for contributing more toward its physical high, other factors are more important to consider: THC is the compound given most of the credit for that head high, with CBD takes the credit for marijuana's many proven medicinal benefits, which range vastly from relieving pain, anxiety, migraines, fibromyalgia and even mad cow disease to easing many of the most deleterious symptoms of AIDS, diabetes, epilepsy and Parkinson's disease. According to the California-based Steep Hill Cannabis Analysis Laboratory, this equalization brings to the cannabis user not just the physically healing aspects, but also the spiritually and psychologically healing benefits as well. There are other strains with very little THC and more CBD than Painkiller XL , but rare are such splendid balances. Producers of this strain say it produces a considerable amount of pain relief, with a mild, relieving mental euphoria. With a flowering time of eight weeks, the Painkiller XL seed can produce 525 to 575 grams per plant indoors. Inside, the dried yield is 400 to 450 grams per plant. Inside, the plants average in height at about 31.5 inche (80 cm); outside, the average height is about 53 inches (135 cm), with harvest time at the end of September. ***May 22 Finally harvest day! Thank you all for following along if you have made it this far. A few things to say about this strain; I had a wonderful experience with freakshow by 7east genetics. It was easy to grow, and very forgiving. It seemed like it didn't care what I threw at it. It is very stress resistant and powdered mildew resistant. There were days that the reservoir wasn't filled as high as it should have been, days where I forgot to open the tent up (so it sat at 100% humidity a couple times, for a day at a time), and not bothered one bit. I didn't do any training on this girl whatsoever other than picking a few fan leaves off here and there. It is a very airy strain with the leaves being very light penetrating, so not much worry about light blockage. I would 100% recommend this strain for anyone who is new to growing or lives in a humid climate. The plant finished off with some nice purple hues on the leaves, not too much on the buds themselves. Smells of vanilla coffee, a very sweet and warm aroma. Will update more as it dries and will post smoke review once finished! ***May 26 Throwing more color as it dries. Trying to dry it nice and slow. ***May 29 Nugs were a little wet and squishy on the 26th, now they are hardening up!

Les plants ont maintenant beaucoup plus d’espace et peuvent se développer pleinement pour prochainement, passer en floraison. Je renouvelle le marc de café autour des plants pour éloigner les potentiels nuisibles. Je pulvérise les plants au purin d’orties le jour 59. Arrosage à l’engrais de croissance le jour 60.

Week 1: All the seeds popped within 4-5 days. Everything is looking good and they are all happy. I moved them into the 2x4 tent with a Mars 300 led. I’ve sprayed daily with plain water with a couple drops of voodoo juice. They are all starting on their first set of leaves. Nothing much going on at this moment. Happy Growing 🌱

She grew 10cm this week. Day 42 - I cut off a few huge leaves to allow better light penetration. This is the last day of 20/4 lighting. From now on it's 12/12.

Feeling kind of anxious. I mean for starting a new grow. This ones were an ok first coco grow. I think the next one gonna be better. Tho the plants are great. Totally frosted, lots of popcorn but some good buds too. Smell is getting intense. I’ll start flushing this week and next one we chopp em.

Day 15 (7/1) - I missed day 14 but here are some hopefully good pictures of Day 15. First day of week 3 since sprout! I decided to FIM the CP just because it was growing so much taller than the XLK. I added a picture if the result. The FIMing actually took place on Day 14 so these photos are 1 day after. The XLK is staying low and getting a little bushy under rather but it’s still thriving so far. I still have not fed the plants anything other water with calmag added then PHed out so far. I think this one is going to be really compact. I don’t want to star real LST on it yet due to its low height. It’s about 4-5 inches. CP is thriving the day after its FIM session. The growth looks good to me..?? I don’t honestly know or have any experience to go off of. It grew a little taller and I was able to adjust the tie on it so more underleaf was exposed. This all took place on day 14. These pictures are the result. I like how much new green I see under after just one night. Day 17 (7/3) - Provided a few updated pictures. I won’t be able to provide another update until Sunday night so I will be posting another video at that time. FIMing has produced a lot of new growth in the lower nodes as I read it should do. I’m glad that it seems like the process went well. We will see how much they’ve grown on day 19. Day 20 (7/6) - I was away from the grow for a few days longer than I thought I would be but they still seem to be doing their thing. The soil was dry but that’s only about two or three days worth of drying out which is completely fine and the humidity was a little low but when I got back I refillEd the humidifier and everything seems to be going smoothly. Tomorrow will be the last day of week three and then after week four. I hope to see some height from these cause the tallest is still at about 6 inches due to LST.

Day 71 - Starting week 11 and she’s coming down the end. She’s mostly milky and can’t really see but a couple clear trichs in there, plus a few amber. I’m just waiting now for her to get about 25% amber then I’ll chop. Should be ready for some water in another day or so and read somewhere to give her iced water so gonna try that and see what it does. Loving all the orange and yellow colors that are coming out in her and such a sweet strong smell. Day 72 - She’s was dried out so gave her 2 gallons of water with 5ML of MagiCal and 80ML of Sugardaddy from Technaflora to try and finish her up. She’s probably got about 10ish days left, all milky trichs now and can see she’s starting to amber up a bit more. This could possibly be her last watering but may give her one more drink before chopping. Day 73 - No updates really, just waiting for her to dry up and get the chop. Still watching the trichs and all milky with a few amber still. Day 75 - Still just waiting for her to amber up before chopping and hopefully she’ll get a bit fatter before hand. She’s already rock hard and smells amazingly sweet, should end up being a good smoke in the end. Day 76 - She’s getting a little more amber in here so this is going to be her final week. I’ll give her one more drink of plain water tomorrow and let her dry out till chop day. Day 77 - Ending week 11 and gave her her last drink of water tonight. She’s gonna a ton more amber trichs so will be chopping her some point this weekend, possibly Sunday. She’s showing some amazing colors and smell as well!
