Turned on the reservoir for a couple of minutes. (Till the AutoPots are full and the valve closes) Rised the pots aswell, so the canopy is very even. I let them recover from the heavy defoliation i did, and next week i will slowly increase the light's strength. (Now still at 50% 50cm)

It's really interesting from using the Smart Proteins, i think how they work is that the plant is able to process them and compensate any kind of slight deficiency which means that each plant that gets the proteins is able to grow to it's maximum potential and at the same time grow to its **individual** potential... that's why each of these plants has so much "character", because if you look closely it's less a question of phenotype but more like "individual expression".... INTERESTING !!! Anyway that's about the visual... my main concern about these is how loud they f-ing smell !!! ITS PROBLEMATIC, so be conscious of that if you plant to grow these one day ! REALLY REALLY LOUD, honestly there should be an additional category on GD like "problematic" which is beyond the "strong smell" category. I have two large carbon filters on two 1330m3/h fans and it's a problem. Hope you understand how unusual that is for a plant in veg lol... I think the smart protein probably affects how strong the plants smell because all the plants seem more smelly than expected... TBH i'll fix the smell issue but hopefully it's a good sign and an indicator of the quality i can expect by harvest time? These also got two rounds of defoliation , and i flipped them to flower like 4 days ago. This was an exciting veg to me, but now is when it gets interesting, let's see how beautiful these flowers are !! Test genetics always have that little bit of mystery to them right? Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?

Day 52. The first seed-filled calyxes appear. I just got a new ph meter, this time also for the earth.. PH was neatly in the basement... well pH corrected. And now she can hopefully refuel properly... hope it makes a little more mass.. but the main thing is two or three seeds... Soil was freshly mixed and I didn't check it before using it... can happen👻😅.

Start of week 4 and the washing machine looking great, got the scrogg net laid down and will be just tucking branches back under the net. After digging out the Jaffa plants which were not growing at all we realised that they came in soil not coco, after cleaning off the soil and treating with super thrive and great white, giving them a new mix of Coco and some food at 1.0ec they begin to show signs of life 🙌 Hopefully they catch-up with the washing machine. Not seeing any major signs of deficiency or toxicity atm

This was a simple grow. She uses more cal-mag than anything I have grown before. Likes small doses of nutrients and reacts well to training. Will update when she is dried and ready to jar!

So now week 6 started 3 of them are in Flower Girls Scout Cookies still stressed from the Thrips All of them hadn't any nutes till now Because I added Floganic to the Biobizz Allmix Soil. Just tap water with a pH of 6,8. I think I gonna add nutes the next 10 days I will start with 30% Bio bizz grow and bloom and 100% Topmax. That's my second grow and my first one with topping and Fimming just want to learn all of the growingcircle. 3-11-2019 Into week 5 of flower and it's time for a change out of the Nutrients and add some Fresh RO water and Power To Bloom followed 4 days later with some UMP. She takes on a lot of feedings and running the RO water has been a daily task. She looks good and producing well. Buds have been close to the light with no burn so far, keep bending them down against their will every now and then.
