5/5/2024 Pistils pistils pistils 5/8 these plants are fucking exploding! Super exciting to see them like this. Pistils everywhere and they’re just STACKING! don’t even see budlets yet, just pistils. The structure of these plants is beautiful. They handle training fairly well. I topped one and super cropped it and did a bit of lst. I was feeling impatient so I decided to see what happened if I pushed the one a little harder and left the other to grow naturally.

Aquí vemos el momento de la felicidad plena, donde la genética y el banco cumplen su palabra y sugerencias, una genética super independiente, con poco cuidado se llevo el premio de la mejor entre las otras plantas que he cultivado este año, aguanto mucho las plagas, con excepción de la ultima semana que entre la humedad y las lluvias, los trips aprovecharon el lavado de los preventivos para atacarla, pero no llegaron a ser un problema, la planta tuvo un crecimiento continuo y parejo, desarrollo muy buena estructura y producción impresionante!!!!!, 820 gramos de cogollos húmedos, muchísima resina, cogollos super compactos y duros, en el día de mañana estaré generando una extracción para probar retorno, color y sabor, muy contento de haber cultivado esta magnifica joya del banco BSF Seeds, mega recomendado.

Esta es mi primer planta que cosechó con éxito, y estoy muy feliz con mi resultado final 😄 obtuve una muy buena cantidad de flores premium con alrededor de 15% de thc (desde mi punto de vista claro 😅) Tuve algunos problemas durante el cultivo, principalmente que deje que se estirara mucho, debi hacerle LST a la punta principal para que no siguiera aumentando la altura y tener más flores del mismo tamaño, las flores más bajas quedaron chicas y les faltó madurar un poco, también tuve problemas de sobrefertilizacion aun a pesar de que seguí las instituciones de los fertilizantes y de sus indicaciones que me dieron los de servicio al cliente, incluso ya teniendo en cuenta eso siempre use la menos de la dosis de la base ya hasta que crecieron más le fui aumentando, igual creo que es muy cierto lo que dicen de que “menos es más” a la próxima empezaré usando muy pocos nutrientes, aparte creo que si hubiera usado unos leds más potentes, las plantas hubieran aprovechado más los nutrientes, pero igual me sirvió de experiencia, pienso cultivar de nuevo esta genética y sacarle más provecho. Muy recomendada 👌🏻😁

I think I am worrying myself more than I need too. The calicum defficiency has took over around a half of the fan leaves on 1 of the plants. I don't have much hope in a great yield from this one but fingers crossed my other 2 were caught in time. Have folder fed with a slightly more concentrated spray of cal mag and ph'd water. Whilst keeping a feed, plain ,feed schedule Unfortunately I don't currently have access to a ppm reader so can't say for sure exactly what the problem is but It seems the defficiency has slowed/stopped. Will continue to monitor.

Enough with bushes would be title of this week. As 3x I went with LST and defol. The plants are now pretty strong so the lst goes well. Just have to be carefull as it could snap. The perfect method I think would be scrog however. Because they are so bushy and I dont have enough space to tie them down properly. Still cant get clear with how much nutes I need to give. 2 of ny plants just go wild with the leafs . The dots in video happened overnight. Since I cut off the lowest leafes which were half yellow brown dotted. Buds are starting to form pretty good. I suppose 🤷‍♂️🏻😄 as this is the first time I have no idea. Main worrie is that I dont get a bunch of popcorn nugs . So will see. Next week looks pretty much the same. Maybe will figure out something about the net though.

Day 30. Girls are starting to look very good !!! No preflowers yet, but think transition will start this week. Leaves are a bit too green, but I still will feed them this week. Changed light cycle to 18/6 Day 33. Girls are happy and all looks very promising !!! Applied BioBizz Leaf Coat before this morning and girls finally loved the stuff !!! You get most with this product when plant is bigger and have loads of foliage, so perfect for last few weeks of veg period. Happy Growing !!!

The end of the Sweet Seeds Cup 🏆. I can only praise this strain 👍. She grew perfectly, did not cause any problems and was very healthy :-). The best thing about the whole strain is its smell and taste (very kushy ). It was also a very difficult decision between 9 and 10 stars, but there was still something missing for 10 stars, but it was very, very close 😋. I can wholeheartedly recommend this strain to anyone who is looking for a very good Kush 👍. I'm already looking forward to the next Sweet Seeds St strains. You are doing a great job, and for me you have some of the best genetics on the world market 👍.

They finally started stretching a bit. Had me worried that they would be forever stunted.

After some research I decided to go for Advanced Nutrients for all amendments. Starting slow and building towards flower, then adding some Bud Candy. These plants really took off lol, shit got out of hand and I let them run a little, I'm definitely a habitual defoliator, I cant stop clipping when I really should just let them be, anyway I moved the tent out of the Closet space as its a friendlier time of year so they don't need the extra protection, kinda why I let them go, Season 1 needed to be smaller in height as they would have suffered outside the tent. Still topped and administered some LST, tried some clips out, but they were far too small and ended up snapping a stem. Would like to give them a go again but will research a bit more next time and not just go for Amazon crap. So far in terms of holding things down I really like the early pegs in the soil approach. I also tried some trellis netting this time, definitely like it and will be more prepared next time. Had to bail for an Easter break so a buddy came through and watered in nuets for me. SKOG was noticeably more Sativa-esque, thinner, stretchier. Runtz with the fatter leaves.

Medium: Look, I love coco/soil, organic/synthetic just as much as anyone. I’ve never really hated on any particular method and each has its uses depending upon the environment. That being said.... hydro is likely to be the predominant indoor method for us going forward. It ticks all the boxes that the average hobby grower is looking for. Maintenance is generally pretty easy, while I’ve found myself monitoring ph and tds more frequently, I’m still only mixing nutes once a week instead of three. The hassle factor is crazy mitigated here👍. From a sustainability perspective, nute consumption is wayyyy down, saving more dolla bills y’all! Added bonus is that veg. Growth rates are just insanely fast. From the moment she popped her head out to the start of week 4, this girl was fimmed, pruned, trained and flipped. She put out a full oz. more than the 6 week(v) mainline beside er😳. Now that is just straight amazing😎. The key advantages - BIG F$&K’N YIELDS and auto pilot care for up to 2 weeks. It is a little bit of a tricky medium but once you dial in the ratios - smooth sail’n the whole grow. I can focus on training/maintenance instead of feeding🤟🤟. If there’s a drawback to DWC it would be that I’d have concerns about leaving it for more than a couple days when she’s in full flower. They just drink so much that It’s a constant top off. All told, far and away the most effective and economical medium we’ve used😎. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Under this COB light system, the best method to date has definitely been a mainline. It’s got so much canopy penetration that we’re pulling down 16” long colas packed with well developed buds. Here’s where strain, medium and method kinda collide though. This girl was on a hurry up and go schedule. We lost the first one to root rot and had to get this one off the ground and mature before the cycle sched. Was gonna flip. Not to mention it was totally screwing with our spring nursery timing too. She was fimmed once and then splayed with LST. Not much either - just enough to get er spread apart a little. So you combine ultra fast growth rates of hydro with a big yield strain like this on a fast paced training method that limits required recovery times... and you get this monster. Just a perfect grow that anyone would be extremely happy with. We used frozen water bottles In the res. twice a day throughout the grow. My issues with light leaks and temps are well documented and I’m constantly running up against one or the other as a hurdle. This plant was no different and she started to re-veg. In the last few days prior to chop. All due to a light leak from the cabinet beside this one that was running on an 18/6. Gonna have to plug some light holes prior to next grow. Other than that - she was amazing and the method here is getting an unusually high and very rare 5/5.😳 Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 The final number is just so sweet. 6.04oz and she veg’d less than a month. Overall, I could confidently say that’s both faster and better than most typical autos in general😳😎👍👌. Any time your rock’n out 5+oz is a good haul but in this kinda time frame - that’s just crazy. We let her go just a little longer (again, as per Spliff’s direction) and it was worth the extra patience. She’s dense as all hell and a nice add to the stash🤟. Took two 20L buckets. Drilled holes in the bottom of the buckets and transplanted them right in. Should have done this before. Sending them into bloom next week.

She’s so close! I am crazy excited for harvest. This is my first grow of anything, I’ve never harvested the fruits of my tedious labor. What an adventure this has been! The trim is what I’m really looking forward to, well all of it really. She’s not near as thirsty anymore I watered her four or five days ago (I work nights I don’t know what day it is lol) and she’s still heavy. So close! Peace friends
