Just finished week 11, and the time has come! Two of the three ladies were harvested on Monday of this week, the last one is still holding on. Posted some pictures of my homemade odor controlled dry box, the thing works great! Hardly any odors escape when the box is closed up, running a humidifier and drying in the basement has given me a solid 55-65% RH and a comfortable 64-70 degrees fahrenheit for a beautiful slow dry. Once the last one is harvested I will Get her hung up and have updated posts And pictures on harvesting/drying and a final end product. Stay tuned!

Blütewoche 6 Was soll ich sagen die Blüten werden immer fetter und fester. Ich bin eigentlich nur noch alle zwei Tage am gießen. Mehr ist nicht zu tun. Gut das die Gemüseanzucht wieder los geht sonst wäre es fast langweilig 😉 Die Pflanzen sehen nach wie vor sehr gesund aus, lediglich im unteren Bereich merkt man langsam das Nährstoffe verlagert werden. Trauermücken sind kaum noch zu sehen. Da haben die fressfeinde sich wohl gelohnt. Die Skywalker ist eine sehr einfach anzubauende Sorte. Bei mir haben sich meiner Meinung nach 4 unterschiedliche Phenos gezeigt. Lasst mir dazu aber gerne eure Meinung da! Liebe Grüße 🖖

The temps are higher now because of the house being around 77 degrees. The humidity is staying low. Wondering if I should start flushing to start getting ready for harvest.

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. The ladies had another great week, I got the Durban Nights, Red Hot Cookies, and Sundae Driverr's second toppings completed on day 26, and I got the second toppings done on the Green Crack and Bubble Runtz on day 27. Right now I have 4 mains on each plant, and I will top each one this week, probably in the next 3-4 days which will leave with me 8 mains. So the mainlines will be completed during week 5, and I plan to flip to flower around week 7. I am still seeing a couple holes on the leaves of the Sundae Driver, but I have treated her twice with neem oil and I don't see any new holes since the last application and I can't see any bugs even with magnification. I am still not sure if it was a bug issue or just a genetic thing. Either way I am not too concerned at this point because they all seem to be very healthy. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Day 73, 25th of November 2020: Red Mandarine still not red unfortunately.... hope she will be lol. There is no any issue at all all good not much to report. Let's say we are half way. Buds on the way just need to wait to be done :) Fertilization is still the same every second day with the rationand mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

This week was mostly about getting everything ready for the vegetative phase. I will start to add some nutrients this week. I will first flush out most of the old water that has been running through the system for about 2 weeks now. When the plants get a little bigger I will add some nutrients and try get my EC level up to around 0.7 with the help from the very supportive people over at EHG nutrients. They have offered to sponsor me through this grow with nutrients which will be of great help. They are a local South African company, so for any one from South Africa 🇿🇦 please check them out. I have added an oscillating fan to add to the airflow en strengthen my seedlings whilst they start to grow stronger. Due to my humidity being a bit lower than what I want it to be, I have decided to add an air purifier/humidifier which will hopefully add some humidity to the tent. I am aiming for about 65% RH and will be monitoring this closely. My lights are currently at 40% strength. I am making use of a panel heater to break the winter cold and will be aiming to be at around 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit). I have added an Mycelium bag which is an alternative way to add extra co2 to your grow. This helps the plant to absorb nutrients better and handle the temperatures a bit better. I will be adding photos as the week continues.
