Week 2 of flower roughly and all plants have begun the shift to cotton balls. Except for the males of course but, they’re grown som hefty sacks also😉. As it turns out we have 3 males, not 2. That might present an option to harvest pollen off one of em to actually save for future use. We’ll see how it goes. Other than that - all plants are performing generally well. Certainly we’ll enough to make some seed babies so let’s get to it. I figure nuts start bust’n in about 2 weeks or so yall! Giddy up and slap dat ass - we gotta make ourselves some bit ‘o awesome😎. Background Fingers crossed that these Spicy Bitch regs provide at least one male so that we can back build some stock of it. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Things are coming along here now, won’t be too much later for these plants. Probably start thinking about flushing 2 of them soon, I suspect the soil is loaded with a high ratio of nutes, think next time won’t use the high nute soil and go for total control. Already harvested one plant already, it was the smallest one, a bit early but she was milky and a few ambers, think she got me 25.55 dry in jar now. Letting the Others hit 50 % amber before harvest those. Two in back big stretch on them,the one left in front short and fatter, say she going next in a bit

Well met fellow growers 🌵💚 Day 53: slight lightburn on mutant cos akmost touching light. I would have HST the cola down if my irl fellow grower said if the light doesnt burn my hand it wont burn the cola badly😁 well it has slighty, but def better than potentially losing the whole cola. Other than that, lil bit of nute burn? Atleast i think so, will cut to amaller feedings. I fear that my offbrand light might not pull the watts i would need 😕 Day 54: Started to see lil nute burn and quite dark green tint on leaves so im thinking it might b nitrogen toxicity. Did. 2ml/L flashclean 1.2l for all. Gonna feed just ph water tomorrow snd check runoff, hope everything is well and i havent managed to lock these babies😉 Day 55: so after flashclean i gave girls 3l each ph water at 6.3. #1 came out 2.8ec and ph 5.8 #2 3.8ec and ph 4.6😳 #3(mutant) came out as 6.5ph and ec 1.8. they seem to do well but i gotta take a break from feeds w 1 and 2 Day 56: Despite horrible ec and ph readings on #1 and #2, they are doing just fine by the looks of it😅 either FB breeds the most beastly resistant seeds or my shit needs calibration. Prolly both tbh😂 Buds seem to get bigger and the smell is growing day by day. I already get pretty strong vanilla and pine?? Smell😍 hopefully the flashclean was right move to do! I think there may have been some lockout happening in all of em and thats why my runoff came that high. I hope flashclean got rid of the most overfed nutes🙏

03/18/2022 I have not shown the third clone as much because of training I will start with her this week. Did some wiring wrap around on two branches, and stem cracked, super cropped third branch. ( I ran out of wire had to improvise) I got one clone for this girl starting! All Girls update I will post pics on day 2. Tomorrow🙏🏻 Ps. I fed (watered) with molasses, and aloe gel fresh squeezed by me.and organic grown (by me) One tbls (14.787ml) of each in two gallon jug(7.571l) also I layered coast of Maine 5-2-4 one teaspoon per layer one on top as well. Hola cultivadores! Estas flores están creciendo! Estuve mirando sus tricomas y están en su mayoría blancos lechosos. Quedan algunos cristalinos y muy pocos color ámbar asi que segun mis calculos en 2 semanas mas como mucho estarán listas 😃. Controlo los bichos diariamente de forma manual. Por ahora solo algunas moscas negras y una que otra araña roja pero nada de que preocuparse. Empecé a darle un booster para floración para esta última semana ya que la ultima hago el lavado de raices. Les dejo una pregunta al respecto. Fórmula del booster: Algas marinas 10% Tricodermas 1.5% Bacilus Suctilus 8% Materia orgánica 45% Micronutrientes, bacterias de ácido y levadura. Algas Spirulina 3% BTI 4% K 6.5% P4.5% Gracias por leer mi diario!

This was the first run of a FastBuds strain and I appeared to have picked a strain that works well with my grow style. She had nice wide indica leaves at the start of her growth and by two weeks over the sides of the pot. 3 gal seems to be a good pot size given her life span and her size. She flipped to flower as expected in week 4. From there she steadily gained weight in flower and was a struggle to keep her tied down with LST. Removing the lower bud sites on the side branches would also have helped to fill in her top colas so don’t be worried that she won’t fill in and you talk yourself into leaving them......cut them off😃👍She sets into a nice yellow fade on the leaves and the edges take on a purple colour. Add in red and orange hairs with everything covered in trichomes and she is a beautiful girl🤩🤩 Flush was over two weeks so expect a smooth smoke 🤞 Will follow up with more as she progresses through drying. In the box with temp at 62 to 66 degrees and humidity at 60%. Branches are not that long so I am expecting dry should be around 7 to 10 days. *******Updated Mar 7/20********* Dry went okay and she was in there for 9 day dry, Feb 25 to Mar 5th. Will be waiting until she has roughly a three week cure before I sample anymore. Did a little for not just to test her out. Further notes from dry and trim........ Should have fed her another week for increased density. Smoke is smooth so far, I don’t mind sacrificing weight for smooth smoke but not sure it was a needed trade off with this girl. Find out next run of her, which will be very soon😀👍 Her high is nice and strong. Not much sampled so far........rather say more to come in a few weeks......sweet and impressive so far!!!! Again a real pleasure to grow and I see more opportunity to do better with this girl😃 Very excited to go again and will definitely be in the next auto run again. Love how she grew and looked! Already ordered more FastBuds genetics and will see Girl Scout Cookies with another Zkittlez for sure!!! Still extraordinarily green. Buds forming nicely. Beginning to increase the nutrients. Slow and steady, this girl.

Ended up cutting all of the front left plant this week and majority of the back two plants. Guna let the lowers get some light for a few more days. Really noticing all the tiny ass buds. Hopefully I'll make something out of them. First run with a net and I just left way too many branches/bud sites for this size of plants they were. Buds look good though. Flushing last plant and will be cutting in a few days.

Plants have a nice size, big flowers and they are still growing. I'm fully satisfied with this strain. My first grow of Northern Lights Auto. I started with Plagron Green Sensation this week.

I had to decrease the light intensity as the tent was cooking my ladies. Some leaves are burned but she is growing frosty small buds.

La estructura habla por si sola, aun no le hago amarres correspondientes ya que estoy esperando que me lleguen los soportes y poder darle más vigor del que ya tiene con el apoyo. Estamos probando cannaboost via folear 3 veces por día 2 ml x litro. lo vamos a utilizar hasta el día 21 de floración y comenzamos vía riego. quiero comprobar diferencias ya que todos mis cultivos tengo que probar alguna cosa nueva ya sea estilo de alimentación o lo que sea.
