She is short but damn she packs a punch. Bushiest plant I’ve had. Bottom 1/3 has reveg issues. Some dead/brown calyx closest around the stem. Cleanup is a bitch but I want to keep the bottom 1/3 weed as personal

🌸 Permanent Marker – Week 3 Flower Update Genetics: Permanent Marker (Zamnesia Seeds) Project: Dognabis Cup Example Grow 🌍 ⸻ 👑 Pheno Differences – A Tale of Two Sisters This week, our two Permanent Marker phenos are really stepping into their own identities: • Pheno #2 – steady and compact at ~90 cm, balanced and symmetrical, a queen that keeps her structure tight. • Pheno #1 – aiming straight for the sky 🚀 … currently standing at ~1.95 meters! A true rocket, stretching nearly twice the size of her sister while still keeping the same elegant leaf formation and bud structure. It’s fascinating to see two very different expressions of the same genetics side by side, a reminder of the beauty of phenotype variation and why selective growing is such an art. ⸻ 🌱 Why Week 3 Flower Matters Week 3 is one of the most critical weeks in flowering. Here’s why: • The plants are finishing their initial stretch and stabilizing in height. • Bud sites are setting in, pistils multiplying, and the true architecture of the flowers begins to show. • Nutrient demand shifts from pure vegetative growth into a more balanced call for energy to support flower production. This is the week where the plant defines her frame for the buds to come, too much stress or poor nutrition here can limit yield and structure later on. ⸻ 💧 Nutrition – Simple & Effective We’re keeping it straightforward, leaning on the Aptus Holland super Soil and organic program: • All-in-One Pellets – mixed in the soil from the start, slowly releasing balanced nutrition. • Regulator – helps with nutrient uptake and strengthens the plant structure. • Top Booster – added gently to encourage early bud development. • CalMag – to support strong cell walls and avoid deficiencies. The beauty of this system is its simplicity: the soil does the heavy lifting with the pellets, while liquid supplements fine-tune the performance. It’s a sustainable and efficient way to grow, avoiding overfeeding while keeping the plants happy. ⸻ 🌡️ Conditions – Heat & Resilience Temperatures have been on the high side — a challenge in many summer grows. Still, the girls are holding up beautifully: • Room temp: peaking around 31°C • Humidity: ~60% (a bit higher over the last few days) • Soil temp: ~25°C • PPFD (PAR): • Pheno #2 (compact at ~90 cm): 760–780 μmol/m²/s • Pheno #1 (tall at ~1.95 m): 1,000–1,100 μmol/m²/s, reaching closer to the light This difference in PPFD is a natural result of their height difference — with Pheno #1 stretching closer to the light, she’s getting a more intense dose. It’ll be interesting to see how she handles the higher intensity compared to her more compact sister. 💡 Grower’s Note – Balancing Different Phenos Under One Light It’s common in multi-pheno runs to have plants finishing at different heights. Here are a few ways to manage light distribution and avoid stress or uneven growth: • Raise the fixture slightly to reduce intensity for taller plants. • Dim the light (if possible) to bring PPFD down into the sweet spot, while adding supplemental side or under-canopy lighting to support the shorter pheno. • Low-stress training (LST) or gentle bending/tucking of the tallest colas can help bring the canopy closer to even. • Stools or risers under shorter pots can bring compact phenos closer to the light. Every grow space is unique, so it’s all about finding the right balance to keep both phenos thriving. Even in the heat, both phenos are thriving — a testament to both the genetics and the resilience of plants grown in living, well-prepared soil. ⸻ ✨ Summary • Week: 3 of Flower • Highlights: Stretch finishing, bud sites forming, pistils stacking • Pheno #1: ~1.95 m tall, strong stretch, receiving 1,000–1,100 PPFD • Pheno #2: ~90 cm compact, balanced, receiving 760–780 PPFD • Nutrition: Aptus Holland organic super soil program (pellets + Regulator + Top Booster + CalMag) • Conditions: Hot but stable; humidity up to ~60%; both phenos adapting beautifully ⸻ 🌿 Reflection – The Beauty of Pheno Diversity Pheno diversity can be both a challenge and a gift. On one hand, it asks the grower to adapt, balancing light, nutrition, and space for two very different personalities. On the other hand, it’s a privilege: seeing how the same genetics can express themselves in unique ways is part of the magic of growing. It reminds us why documenting and sharing is so important, because every plant has a story to tell, and together, they teach us more than any single run ever could. ⸻ 🏆 Dognabis Cup – Officially Opening! This week also marks an important milestone outside the grow room: the Dognabis Cup is officially opening! 🎉 📦 The welcome packs are arriving at participants’ doors, and growers are already starting germination. Soon, diaries will begin to appear, and the Cup will truly come to life. A few notes for everyone joining: • The more complete and detailed your diaries are, the better your chances of winning. Sharing not just the results, but the process, is what this Cup is about. • Every participant received two genetics — one autoflower and one photoperiod. That means two chances to win 🌱🌱 • This Cup is about more than competition: it’s about sharing experiences, learning from each other, and celebrating the plant together. From my side, I want to wish everyone the very best of luck. May your seeds sprout strong, your flowers shine bright, and your journey be joyful. 💚 Let’s make this first Dognabis Cup an unforgettable experience. ⸻ This week closes with a sense of wonder — two sisters, same genetics, but two completely different stories unfolding. 🌿 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Growing well. Just fed 12 cups Ph'd water (6.3). Lots of cold humid air coming in from outside, plus with the half soil half coco mix I think they're holding water a long time. They're only needing water once a week right now. They were not impressed with the water-only feeding. Some leaves got burnt tips, some got small yellow dots that look like spores or insects but I don't think are either. I think it's some kind of nutrient or pH unhappiness. I only gave 2/3 of the amount of water I normally would, hoping that they will dry out soon and I can give a proper feeding and check runoff pH. I left them alone for a couple days and boosted the 1000w back up to 100% to dry things out a bit more. The buds loved it but I think it's damaging the leaves a bit. I put it back down to 75% just now. I forgot to adjust the intake fan from outside down to low overnight from medium during the day and leaf temp was down to 13.3c when I woke up. Can't be doing that either.

I'm 4 days into flower. Topped all the plants nice and even. Then removed all bud sites below the top 4 on each branch. Leaving fan leaves intact. I allowed them to recover for 2 days. Then flipped the lights. Inzane In The Membrane was growing much taller as expected. It's a sativa and it was really stretching. The plants currently are looking to be very thin. They occupy 2/3 of a net and do not look as filled as the blue gelato screen. My guess is that these will continue to stretch for another week longer then the other plants and will eventually overwelm their screen.

####Please do read the disclaimer in the first entry! 01/28/25 Short facts: - VPD @ 1.0 but normaly it doesn't get better than 0.9 - Light @80% so most leaves are exposed to 500 - 960 ppfd - Success with the colloidal silver --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finally, the attempts to spray her with colloidal silver were successful. Many pollen sacs are developing, and I hope they will be ready within a week. Buying a new spray was the right decision because, with the new one, it took less than two weeks for the pollen sacs to appear. However, the leaves are looking worse now—some are almost 70% dead. I still hope she will make it so the seeds can fully develop. I planted the Lemon Cherry Cookies much earlier than the other two plants to avoid pollinating Slurricane and 1:Walt. However, due to the delay, both are already in flower, so they will end up with some seeds. Maybe one of the crosses will turn out to be something special! 😂

Last week I think. Nice amount of cloudy trichomes next week should show enough Amber to please me. Waiting game now. At least plant 1 is now smokeable. Starting to focus on the next now and letting these do their thing.

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

Week 11 all of the girls are doing very good. I have no insect damage which is great especially when growing outside with the wilderness so close to me the runts layer cake is right under 8 feet. The apple fritter is also nearing 8 feet. The Dusty dose 33 is a little over 7 feet tall the sherbet cream cake is a little over 6 feet tall.

Ehi ragazzi come va?

__________ Hi everyone, there was no worm tea this week as very little was produced. This was likely due to the recent cold days and nights. First step: feeding the worm bin, adding damp paper, and mixing it slightly to help the microbiology break down scraps for the worms – see Video 1. Otherwise, as expected, the lady has reached her final stage, indicated by the autumnal colors. The plant is pulling nutrients from its leaves. Many of the pistils have already turned orange-brown – harvest isn't far off now – see Video 2. It’s already apparent that the buds are about 1/3 smaller than in the previous grow using 30 liters. That will be my future setup for the Sonnenerde organic hemp soil – 30 liters. Humidity and temperature remain stable at 52% and 23 degrees. I’ve increased the lamp power to 60% for the remaining two weeks to push the bud development. The scent is subtle, but if you accidentally touch the flowers, it literally explodes with a sweet and creamy note – unassumingly good. The fungus gnats are gone and didn't turn into a major issue. I’m still very happy with the Gelato Auto.
