1st week of 12/12, very thirsty

5/4 this plant has exploded into the flowering phase

I'm back for another update this week! It hasn't been a very busy week this week, the veg area is vegging and the flower area is on its last week before harvest. I've been taking very small cuttings (about .1 gram) and scoping the trikes using a 45x desktop microscope. Ethos: Lilac Diesel #22 (x) Grandpa's Cookies #7- This seedling is still doing well and branching out keeping a "v" shaped branch formation, thinner long leaves and decently far spaced nodes. It is still the tallest plant in the whole garden now standing at 19 inches tall. It's top four branches are beginning to develop smaller branches from them. HSO/ Giest Grow: Tow Truck- Unfortunately the Tow Truck showed signs of being a male. Last week I had assumed it was a male. But this week I was able to call it for certain. I don't have the space to keep any males, so I went ahead and cut it down. This diary will now be for the Ethos Seedling! It is feminized so it will surely go to the flower room with the Raspberry Ripple plants it shares a tent with. Raspberry Ripple Clones (#1 and #2)- These veg clones are still spreading out with branching decently. The #2 Phenos hit 12 inches in height and received their topping. So now all plants in the clone tent have been topped once. Flower Tent (Raspberry Ripple #1 and #2)- It is currently day 67 Flower, Under the HLG Blackbird. I went ahead and dimmed it down one level. I let my buddy use my PAR meter for a few days. But I'd assume it's probably about 450-700 PPFD on most top sites. I've assessed the trichomes today and last week. Most are getting cloudy but I'm gonna wait just a few more days, to push into some amber coverage. A lot of the #2 pheno top sites are now leaning over and being fully supported by the trellis. The little branches just couldn't support the massive flowers it grew. One of the #2 plants is still holding strong and standing tall. But 2/3 are pretty much fully supported by the trellis. The number one phenos are once again super thick stalked, with thick branches. One of the #1 plants, looks like it completely bottomed out this week. Most of its leaves are completely faded. The other plant of the #1 Phenos is much more bright and vibrant. There are still some straggling white pistil hairs left on the #1s but they are still changing color by the day. I almost despaired of getting my seeds to germinate after I moved house. Unfortunately, I seem to have stored them incorrectly during the move, so almost all of my auto seeds refused to germinate. But this single Mimosa Cake Auto from Fastbuds did manage it in only 2 days, and I'm very happy to be able to grow three plants at once after all. What a struggle! Because I was given a pretty olla (a clay pot that you bury in the ground), I'm going to try it out this time. Fertiliser cannot be added this way, but it should prevent the soil from drying out. In this grow, I used my usual nutrients from Greenbuzz-Nutrients, which I received as a sponsorship over a year ago. Time to use them up! As a substrate, I used the peat-free Lightmix from T.A. again. It is cheaper than alternatives with peat and better for the environment, so I recommend everyone to give it a try.

All three are looking great, with the #1 pheno having the darkest green coloration and super tight node spacing, and the #2 which is looking super healthy, with much wider node spacing. The #3's color is not yet where I'd like to see it, but it has been steadily improving over time. Their feedings of Plagron nutrients continue three times daily and I'm monitoring the reservoir before each, adjusting the nutrient level to 650-700ppm @ 5.9-6.2 ph. The tent environment has remained dialed in with the VPD averaging 1.40kpa over the last seven days. 10/24- Today I drained, cleaned and flushed the AirCube reservoir and 'brain bucket', then filled it with 70L of 74℉ well water. After filling I added the Plagron nutrients separately and also began adding in Plagron Royal Rush. The Tropicana Cookies are responding well to the feeding schedule, and are also tolerating the increased light output which I now have set to 80% along with setting the co2 levels to 1100-1400ppm. 10/26- The #1 pheno has some huge shade leaves that are blocking her side branches, and are an absolute bitch to keep tucked out of the way. I'm contemplating removing a few to allow the side branches more light so that they'll be able to grow out. Today I added 1/2 tsp. of Yucca Extract to the reservoir which will aid in feeding by acting as a surfactant, increasing the wetting ability of the solution. I am continuing the feedings of Plagron nutrients three times daily, and I'm monitoring the reservoir before each, adjusting the nutrient level to 650-700ppm @ 5.9-6.2 ph. The solution temperature is maintaining a steady 73-75℉. As a side note; as the weather gets colder I may install a heat mat, controlled by a thermostat, under the reservoir to ensure proper temp's in it. 10/28- There goes another week for the FastBuds Tropicana cookies and they're all shaping up to be beautiful cultivars, with some slight differences between them which makes the grow interesting! Our weather has warmed up the past couple of days. Because of this I've had to lower the light output to 55% in order to keep the tent temp's below 82℉. The Tropicana Cookies are showing zero sign of heat stress so I'm not terribly concerned, especially as the weather will be dramatically cooling off in a day or two. The #2 and #3 pheno's are showing signs of the beginning of flower, ans I went ahead and removed four of the huge shade leaves on the #1 as they were too big to tuck and blocked a ton of light from the side branches. Hopefully now the #1 will start to bush out with all the additional light reaching into the interior of the plant. I'm also continuing to tuck shade leaves daily on all three girls, and have been gently bending down their side branches as well. I upped the nutrient ppm level to 800 with the addition of Plagron's Royal Rush 8-0-0 which will continue in their feeding through flower. I'll also be adding Plagron Green Sensation in another 7-10 days which will also continue through flowering. I hope to see you next week... 7/19/2021 - Fed her with a mix of veg + bloom + worm castings + insect frass. We're 'bout to flip her. Unsure of the rate of application, going with feel. - Irrigated with a mix of water, coconut water, and unsulfured black strap molasses. - Decreasing the light timer by an hour each day to gently bring her into the flowering stage. - Defoliated again, she gets bushy fast. 7/24/2021 - Been defoliating this one every other day, she get's bushy reaaally fuckin' fast. - Lights finally reach 12/12 tonight. 7/25/2021 - First day of 12/12, gave her ANOTHER trim loll

Week 11 for Gelato 41 by seedstockers, Shes getting old now 😂 She got another defoliation since last week nothing too crazy but she was getting swamped with new growth on the bottom branches. Still pulling her side ways... can finally say shes reached the edges of her pot. Been feeding her less water...last week she was fed once trying to get the roots to really push in size so she can hold herself up when flowers come in later on. 😎

These plants were very easy to grow. They didn't get very big, but had a great yield for average sized plants. A tent full of them would offer a solid yield. Nice big, dense, sticky buds. The colas cured into some really gorgeous produce, and the flavors just keep improving with time. Yield: 8/10 Potency: 7/10 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 8/10 Bud density: 8/10 Another winner from AMS!

I have to dry the buds at 20 degrees in the dark at 50% humidity

On day 1 week 4 flower the girls are bulking up smelling great and some pistils are turning orange. The trichomes are still mostly clear with some milky trichomes starting. On day 3 one of my blumats had a runaway I believe from fertilizer sediment all I can do this late in the game is to lower the flow rate and hope that will solve the problem. It is strange that this is the same blumat that flooded when I went on vacation earlier on in the grow. I will inspect the blumat closer when I finish the grow. I tightened the carrot down 1.5 carrots. Except for the minor flood the girls are doing very well, even though they are too close to my grow lights :). On day 6 almost all the buds are starting to have a second growth spurt with some small white pistils showing, the trichome concentration is visibly growing and I expect to harvest the girls between week 8 and 9 of flower.
