Ok, so I forgot to update this last week. woops, I will try and remember all the details but im sure to be forgetting something. I decided to strip the plants a bit as I felt their bottom half under the canopy was a bit to thick and under performing It has a bunch of shity stems and buds trying to develop and they where looking sad and spindly, not enough light, If i had under canopy lighting sure that's fine I'd leave em and they would thicken up, but I don't; so they had to go. I selected defoliation as a techniques used but I did not touch anything in the canopy. only below it, it was all not performing well and would have just increased the risk of bad airflow and maybe rot come late flower. I also have been noticing more issues with the one plant then the others and my hydro shop guys said it need more feed, I don't know how much I agree with them about that, they do not grow with amendments but it was time for the topdressing anyways. I mixed up the stuff and worked it into the top soil of the plants outside on the deck, when watering it in I also mixed it with my hands, I found this helps hydrate the Gaia Green powders and prevented them from forming dry pucks in the top layer. I think I need to always do this morning forward with all top dressings as just mixing it into the dry soil then watering is causing to much resistance and the top layer then gets a little bit crusty and hydrophobic, but mixing in while watering at the same time has prevented that from what I can tell. I also gave them a bit of a liquid soluble calcium as the PH was creeping back up again and didn't want that to be locked out. It helped to green up some of the plants again still the one is a bit to yellow for my liking. The top dress consisted of AP 4-4-4, PB 2-8-4 and some IF 3-2-4 Mixed it all up with something else can't remember, probably fulvic acids and magnesium. I also did a bit of a calibration on my tools as well as I felt they might be off a bit. The EC was not to bad, off by 41ppm or 0.082EC vs the base solution, my unit is a 500 scale pen eg. 500ppm=1.0EC PH was a bit more off by PH 0.18 from the PH 4.01 calibration solution. I did not do a before for the PH 7.01 calibration solution as I started at 4.01 but its still close enough in the end at PH 7.03. The storage solution is almost always the same as the PH 4.01 calibration solution. In their manual it says if you don't have any storage solution just use the PH 4.01 calibration solution. I feel they maybe the same thing but one has red dye and some stabilizers in it. Who knows. O and when working on my deck garden I was upcycleing the old cannabis growing mediums into the planters from the strawberry tent grow off, the one shaft from an older plant was purple inside when I broke it. It sat outside all winter so who knows what it was, I'm guessing its just anthocyanins or something similar. This was my first cycle in tent. The Autopot System is amazing ang brings autonomy. I used fert Plantprod, calcium nitrate, magnesium sulfate and MKP. PH around 6.0 and solution fert in tank 1200 PPM . This strain is fantastic. It withstood the intense heat of the southern hemisphere's tropical climate. It was easy to prune and defoliate to control the size. The smell is of tangerine and flowers produces a lot of resin. I am very satisfied with this harvest! Thank you Sweet-seeds!!

Se mantiene el uso de cloro a razón de 0.2 ml x 4 litros de agua. Baje la luz a 60 cm de la planta más alta del cultivo y se mantiene a 100% de potencia 23/11/24: Realicé defoliacion, mantengo el foco a 60 centímetros. EC se mantiene en 2.0 - pH 5.8

Both started to flower faster than I wanted. I would have preferred another week of veg. Blooming nutes were transitioned during this week. Mimosa is smaller then her counterpart, but is smelling stronger.

06/27: the small buds dry up quickly with the current climate near my house.... So I was able to taste the famous apple fritter. And I'm glad I dont know when I grow another AF. because what I like is to taste the novelties

Hello guys, I fixed my RH problems. I now water them 1,5L every 2-3 days, the Shimos seems to still be thristy ! I did a light defoliation, then flipped into 12/12 after 32 days of vegetative stage. This will be interesting 😍 Have a nice day, see ya next week !

Can't keep up with defoliation once the autopots kick inn, best room upgrade ever. The Cuppa T was the biggest plant before the other four went in their autopots. Just pH water this week and a foliar feed with my KNF FAA, WCAP and LAB. Flowering start on the 29th under the new Lumatek Attis 300w

Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. ~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2203 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/29- Here we go into Week One of Flower! It's been a month since these pretty ladies popped out of the ground and they're both looking perfect and have pistils popping out everywhere! Their fabric pots were still heavy when lifted, and they looked happy, so I skipped watering today and will check them tomorrow morning after the lights come on. Since being topped roughly a week ago, they have two new shoots that are emerging and looking extremely healthy with excellent vigor and have a beautiful healthy green color! The #1 is now at 7" tall and the #2 a bit taller at 8". 12/31- Today was a 'dry day and all I did was refill the humidifier and some canopy maintenance, tucking shade leaves and gently bending branches. It's been a little over four weeks since they were planted in their amended medium and it's time to give their microbes a good feed so they can continue to provide them with all the macro and micro nutrients they need so, yesterday they got a good watering with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with GreenGro's Veg, Flower, Green Aminos, Natures Brix and Granular Myco added to it @ 1.5 tsp/g and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 73℉. 01/02- Yesterday I watered them from the bottom with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann cal-mag to prevent any Cal-Mag issues before they arrive. I also have the HLG 650R set 36" above canopy and it's set at 60% power which is being controlled by a Trolmaster HydroX controller. The tent environment is on point with temp's running 70 when the light's off and 74℉ with the light on. I'm keeping the RH at 55-60% right now but will drop it as flowering progresses. Finally, I've been keeping the VPD in the tent running 0.85 - 1.05 which I'm happy with! 01/04- They have both been doing really well getting watered every other day and yesterday they received 0.5g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner which was then ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉. They're both doing fantastic but were really beginning to get choked up with growth so I went in and selectively removed a few shade leaves from both to get some light penetration down into their canopies to give that lower growth some much needed light. While I was doing that I also did a little more LST on both to also increase light penetration. Well, there goes another week in our journey and I'm looking forward to the coming weeks as flowering gets cranked up! 😍👍 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! So I found my issue with my droopy leaves and light leaves. Not enough water and she wants more phosphorus. I up'ed my water time to 15 mins 7x a day. (Ebb & flow in clay pellets). This week she has gotten most of her green back but I feel it's delayed the flowering alittle. Maybe not. This is my 1st auto and it's only supposed to have a week left. We will see.
