This week she reminded me why some genetics earn legendary status. 🌱 One Experiment... Countless Stories If you're joining this diary for the first time, welcome! And Purple Haze continues proving just how powerful genetics truly are. 🌿 Grace in Every Direction At approximately 88 cm tall, she has become one of the tallest ladies in the entire room. Yet height alone doesn't tell her story. What impresses me most is how balanced her structure has become. The internodes have spaced beautifully. Every branch has found its place. The canopy remains open. The airflow is excellent. Light reaches deep into the plant without needing aggressive defoliation. She almost seems to be building herself. Every day she becomes a little more elegant. A little more refined. Classic Haze architecture is beginning to reveal itself, and it's beautiful to witness. 🌸 Flowers Everywhere You Look This week marks the moment where there's no longer any doubt. Purple Haze has fully entered flowering. Every branch is producing flowers. Every node carries fresh white pistils. The energy that once built stems is gradually shifting toward flower production. Week by week the framework is disappearing beneath an ever-growing collection of buds. And she's only getting started. 🍃 Healthy Leaves Tell an Important Story One of my favourite things about this phenotype isn't actually the flowers. It's the foliage. The leaves are exactly what every grower hopes to see. Large. Rich green. Flat. Healthy. Every fan leaf acts like a perfectly functioning solar panel, collecting energy that will eventually be transformed into dense, resin-covered flowers. Rather than removing healthy foliage unnecessarily, I've continued relying mostly on leaf tucking to expose developing bud sites while allowing the plant to keep producing as much energy as possible. Sometimes patience produces a better canopy than scissors ever could. 💧 Feeding the Next Chapter As flowering progresses, the feeding program continues evolving alongside the plant. Super easy growing, almost no maintenance, she just needs love and attention, and she will shine for you

Week 3 of flower. Plants look great. Trying a few more tops this run, with some upper deleafing. Ive also been running Hydro Bio and ive decided to move the lights down to anout 2ft. Im running 800W of KingBrite LEDs and im hoping for a nice outcome after the upset with the test of bleach for sterilization vs H202. This run the Hydro Bio has microorganisms, so no sterilization needed. PH seems to be more stable and root zones of the vegging plants seem much more white and more of them. Stay tuned!

Week#7 Day#44 Update: shes looking nice and bushy from the ponytailing. I gave her a half a gallon of water and she drank it right up . I gave it to her day 42 I believe I noticed her leaves droopy. I still have not topped her yet there’s atleast 13 main arms needing to be pinched out currently. I’m still riding the fence with whether I’ll top dress feed her and keep her in this pot for one more month or will I transplant her up and boost the feed proportionately with the increased pot size . Week#7 Day#45 update since I can’t seem to stop riding the fence on the methods I want to use to grow this plant I decided I atleast needed to do a heavy defoliation to expose those growth sites to encourage more branching . I could continue with ponytailing & defoliation for a while I just keep kicking the can around on whether topping will make this healthy vigorous growing plant better . It’s already doing everything I could ever want in terms of lateral growth . Could it stand to be a bit more vigorous on the upwards growth ? Sure , however I’ve still got 3 ladies maturing up in this tent that I need to move out so I’m sort of happy shes not requiring a lot of leg room know what I mean ? I think as the fan leaves grow out I’ll pony tail up each top again . Week#7 Day#46 No changes Week#7 Day#47: started pony tailing her tops as the fan leaves get large enough to pin up I’ll cover as many as possible to let those lower growths get growing . Week#7 Day#48: still pony tailing tops 😁 we’ll make her into a Week#7 Day#49: those new fan leaves neeed to be pony tailed but are also incredibly yellow . I wanted to try putting the dry amendment at the bottom of my planter but for the sake of time I won’t experiment & have wasted a 2 weeks considering I knew last week she “ should be getting hungry “ & it’ll take 1 week of top watering before these dry amendments are available to the plant so she may stay e looking deficient. I gave her 2 heaping tablespoons & watered her in with 1/2 gallon of ph’d water with (organic)cal mag .

Day 69 - 15/11/19 Were finally here at harvest and im happy with the result :) i planned as much as i could and winged the rest :) I collected lots of small, early harvest buds and left them to dry. kept a small bit for bongs and put all the really sticky trim in the freezer! gonna make cannabutter with it next week :) I liked the strains i chose from RQS, they took every newbie mistake i threw at them :D ive learned so much and it shows in my other diaries :) Il update this harvest a couple of times through this last week to show the effects of drying and curing, other than that thanks to all for helping and check out my other diaries to see how ive progressed :) Update - 18/11/19 I dried the buds for a couple of days and wow they dry well :) smoked them in a bong and it got me over a rough few days. I didnt see the point in curing this as i only got a couple grams. and to even get a couple of grams off a plant that had such a bad transplant just shows how resistant they are. I loved this strain, the smell was funky and it was a joy to grow. Thank you RQS!

Week 5 — Vegetation Phase 🌿 Week 5 has been an absolutely fantastic stage of growth! The plants are showing tremendous vigor and energy — every stem is thick and strong, and the lateral branches are developing beautifully. The canopy is now well-balanced and starting to take a very uniform shape, which is exactly what you want before the transition. 💪🌱 For this week, I adjusted the feeding program to really support strong and healthy development: • Root Simulator: 2.5 ml/L • Generator: 0.15 ml/L • Terra: 2.0 ml/L • Cal-Mag: 1 ml/L The plants are responding exceptionally well to this regimen. Leaf color is a perfect, vibrant green — not too dark, not too light — showing that the nutrient balance is spot-on. Each apex is soaking up energy, and the growth is both dense and vigorous. The structure is becoming more solid, which will help ensure a smooth transition to the next phase. 🌱 Watering is perfectly dialed in now. The substrate dries out evenly between sessions, eliminating any risk of overwatering. Leaves are upright and firm, a clear sign that the plants are thriving and the environment is stable. ✔️ Visually, the garden is looking amazing. The canopy is nicely spread, allowing excellent airflow between branches. The lower growth is filling in gradually, and the top growth is ready to continue its upward expansion. Training efforts are really paying off — the plants are maintaining a strong, even structure with a lot of energy in every node. Overall, Week 5 feels like a pivotal moment. The plants are healthy, vigorous, and responding perfectly to both nutrition and care. The combination of strong stems, dense foliage, and well-spaced branches sets the stage for a successful transition to flowering. The visual appeal alone is exciting — you can really see the potential for the next stages. 🔥 Extremely happy with how things are progressing. If they continue at this pace, the next phase is going to be nothing short of spectacular! 🌿✨

Day 68 flower. I stopped using the Ripen on day 65. Since then I've been using Florakleen at 2tsp per gallon and RO water only for flush. Pineapple express is flushing at a faster rate still. I had to brace several colas because of the size so I'm really watching closely for any molding issues. I'm planning to hang her up at day 71ish. Rainbow cake is turning a little purple. It looks like its almost finished and I'm planning to pull around day 71 as well. London mint cake is finishing up nicely. I think she's going to need a little more time flushing so she might get pulled a little later than the other 2. Hope you like my pics and videos!

The first week of flowering went great! The girl stretched nicely and she is growing vigorously. The pistils started showing up quite quickly, only a few days after I flipped her. I increased the PK as she showed slight signs of deficiency. She is packed with shoots, almost too much I would say, I hope she will have enough space for the buds to develop properly and healthily.

Seems to be taking well to being moved to the 5gal pot. Growing a lot faster after the 2nd day in the bigger pot. Watered for the first time since planting in big pot after 5 days with 1L distilled water (Ph 7) mixed with 1/2 tsp. fox farms grow big and 1/2 tsp. big bloom. Since my soil is considered hot soil I wanted to use less than the recommendation on the bottle.

Germinating with RO Water + Liquid Seaweed. Using shot glass for 48 hours to break open the shell, and a paper towel for 24hrs to grow the taproot. Then transport to Jiffy peat pellets (soaked in 300PPM seaweed + camg) for initial vegging.
