And she's off 👊🏻 Got a good bit of growth in this week. Super cropped a few of the branches cause they shot right past the others. Perked right back up though no worries. Officially on flower now, she's a light feeder through veg I had to cut the nutes right down, let's hope I can get a bit into her through flower, she is starting to drink a lot more anyway so we'll see. All good here, couple more weeks and I reckon she'll be good to pollinate.

Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. I watered today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. 10/6- Today I watered her with 1.5g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be in the next week +/-. 10/10- Well, Week Eight has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience! She's so freaking frosty that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she'll be ready by the end of this coming week, and I can't wait! I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. Somehow I counted weeks in a silly way, so I thought this was week 8 but it's still week 7. LoL. Plant is doing great anyway, She's big, exceeding 70 cm diameter, With so many colas at canopy level I expect her to yeld very big fo an Autoflowering strain, The training succesfully shaped her resulting in 10 branch reaching the top canopoy level. To me the key to a good training is timing, much more than continuous adjustment. This plant was bent just one time on main stem and one another time little later the branches. We had rainy days so I used a dehumidifier for a day or two, now it's dry again outside so no need for it anymore. She's still thirsty like a bitch as she drinks 5 liters of water every two day. Maybe I'll make a drip sistem for my next grow, watering has been boring lately. I'm not giving her anything to the end now, she's doing fine like this. The humus coupled with slow release fertilizer is doing a great job. She has some nitrogen excess to me, but she's the only plant to show it in a batch of 6. The issue seems very small to me anyway. Day 48 checked trichomes, some is turning milky already, can't wait for the buds to ripen :) Ciao Bottanico

Day 53: In this last week I moved all the plants again and removed the leaves and branches for the last time. Twenty or twenty-five days at the most for the first harvest, and I can already draw up a final report on the genetics of this strain. On eight plants of Gorilla four showed a predominance indica with a large central cola and less ramifications. Two plants are much more bushy have a sativa predominance with longer buds and have branched out a lot. For the last two unfortunately has dominated the photoperiodic genetics and their flowering is considerably late, so as to be overcome by the two cheeses that are in bloom more advanced. However, the pistils have popped up and started to bloom, so the autoflowering genetic part is present. I am a patient grower anyway, so I will wait for them to complete their cycle even if I have to wait about three months. In these days I have added to my secret garden four other varieties: 1 Purple Glam Kush and 1 Sweet Tooth Auto by Bulk Seeds, 1 Critical Rapid by Barney's Farm and 1 Northern Lights x Blueberry by i49 Seeds. New dedicated journals on arrival 😉

Hello This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of flowering. The plant is doing well and I see the resin has started to flow. I can defiantly smell the sweet diesel off it. But it has fruity hints too. Could be strawberry. The plant has a bit of red on the stem and leaf stems... so we might see some color at harvest... We'll see... OK. Be Great. Chucky.

Week 5 and its getting frosty❄️✌️

I have been using LST in the form of a fan on medium speed to try and strengthen the main stalk of the plant as well as planter rotation to strengthen the main stalk for tie down LST. So far I've been impressed with the rate of growth and the overall experiment. For what it's worth, the growth wth is very very similar to a hydroponics growth. I'm sure as the experiment continues I'll notice some big differences. It does appear to have either a minor potassium deficiency or a little too much nitrogen. Will monitor and update as needed. The above signs may have been trying to indicate the main stalk was weakening from too much weight from vertical grow rate. This would ultimately lead to a fractured stalk. Is this what happened or is it a fungus or disease problem? Plant C sprouted within 48hrs and will be 6 days behind Plant A. End goal of harvest is still 360g from the two plants combined. Both plants are looking very happy regardless of the toxicity or deficiency. Strong strain nonetheless.

I'm definetely happy. Everything is going well, acarians have destroyed bad bugs and babies are getting bigger every day, more and more. I keep bend all side branches and plants are getting used to the lst and they are spreading and covering pretty much every square avaiable. I hope to be capable to manage all the space avaiable. This is my first time doing lst and honestly, it's the real deal. No big stress, Plants are so bigger, at the same moment, I am comparing with my previous diary with the same strain. Changes are impressives. I'm increasing, little by little, nutes. For now leaves are looking healthy to me, nice green. When lights first turn on, new leaves are light green. After couple of hours they are turning darker. Waiting for white pistils, I'm expecting them in 4/5 days. Have a good day folks, I'll keep you updated ! Cheers
