Welcome to my Lemon Orange by GREEN HOUSE SEEDS.. 1st set of nodes were removed with 1 fingered leafs they are energy sappers. Weeks 2-3 Days 9-21 Plant pushing along really fast really nice growers. She's been the one that's taken to the cold temperatures/ low RH the best. She's the biggest. And I'm a wk ahead. But' these past 2 weeks. I FLMING It and moved it into a 7L pot. And then when I felt I had enough shoots I then topped the Fliming just kept throwing out shoots, so after you see 4 very close you usually then top the tops and will be left with tight intersnodea usually resulting in an X shape if grow out. As it just keeps growing up. It has a real nice hight as she stands. The next week I tackle and defoliation her and will attempt to shape her in some fashion. But, I find. GHS strains when topped they rarely need shopping as its takes a natural shape.. but, I do plan t defoliation and LST her. Enzymes, pure Zym & Alga Grow have been used. Currently she sits in a 7L pot. She'll be moved to an 11l and then I'll decide what way to take her. Ppm is kept low as the soil is nutrient rich Royal mix. So? I only started adding small amounts of ALGA GROW as it takes a few days for the organic process to work. So adding in on wk 2 was what I did. Enzymes and Sugar Royal was also used. Along with a foliar spray of Vita Race as she looked she needed an iron kick. Looks like Dolomite lime is taken a bit longer. But, with such rapid growth. This plant is only showing slight signs of cal. The others are growing at a normal rate. And the slow but more effective method of slow release calcium over time looks to be doing well. I still use UltraPure Epsom Salt. Its the best source of mag/sulphur 250ppm feeds (that's tap included) with soil aim for 6.3-6.8 ph. Mine is 6.7. Alga feeds were just once a wk. 300ppm (tap included) ph doesn't need checking its organic so usually this nutrient (alga grow) gives 4.5ph, but? It does not need adjusting nor does any organic nutrient from plago when using soil. Week 1/2 40-42.5 750ppfd Week 3DLI 43.5-45 800 ppfd. . 17hrs this is and last 30mins is set at 15% to mimic sunset. Really drops light stress. And have noticed big drop in leaf dropping and much easier plant growth. Helps I've a top lux meter. Money well spent. This is a cross of Super Lemon Haze & Clementine bringing you an earthy lemon haze on the inhale and an orangy sweet smooth explosive burst on the exhale. Hard Defoliation was done around day 30, as you can see. She had wide fans but underneath had grown her nodes enough to stand alone. Took about 25% of the Defoliation planned for the 3-4 Days. On Day 34, she's a fantastic grower. The biggest in the tent out of them all. I plan to Pre flower her by next week. And after pre flower her tops will be HST'ed and during the start of the flip. I'll take most of what I don't want or that doesn't look like it'll have heavy stigmata sites. (Stand alone bud sites will be removed). She just went through a hard defoliation of her many of her top fans throughout the week. I usually take up to 15-25% a day or until my fully planned defoliation is done 3-4 days. I'll give what's left time to catch up. Then remove those major fan leafs once they've produced a node that can grow on its own strenght without to much delay. So, all in all another week. Not the 2 months as planned in veg. But, I didn't expect such growth so fast. Not with this development anyways. She's a super pheno. Checked sites, no bracts, hairs have popped (meaning she's throwing out the hormone that is telling you, she's ready to flip when you are) 730nm will be used during the Fattening stage to enhance the DLI (lighting on my 1hr40mins) this will only be used for the fattening stage. Then UV-A will be used in ripening. 1hr a day in 2x30m windows and 1hr x2 after 5-6 days into ripening for the remaining of ripening up until the last 1-2 days when she'll be ran on a low ppfd (like a sunset) or ill put her to sleep and put in a 48hr dark rest. TBD Day 35 she's at to moving through this week great. Took a clone. Had to. All though I've not had a taste. If the bud is good. I'll be delighted to have this clone that will be well into veg by the time she's done. I've decided to put her into flower by day 40ish I'll LST her. Last defoliation of leafs were nodes have grown enough to push themselves. Its wasn't my plan. A 4-5 month grow. If I leave this girl for another 4 weeks in veg. She'll take over the whole tent. Alga Grow will be stopped on after the next feeding. And bloom will be added. Power buds will be used for pre flower stage. Welcome to my Lemon Orange Diary sponsored by Green House Seeds. Days 36-56 9-10 days it took to show pistils (pre fower) and is in pre flower 11 days or so. While waiting to show stigmata she grew to 55cm by mid wk 6. The last 10-11 days of pre fower she has been grown at a fair and steady pace of 1-1.5cm per day. (Which shows me her traits and the fact my temperature is pretty much way within the temperature swings that won't cause her to excess stretch.. going beyond 6-7c will cause excess stretching lights on/off. So if your cold at night run your lights on at night during pre flower and turn them off when it's hottest to keep a steady temperature) Maintenance Haven't really done much to this gal as of yet. I find with GHS strains they take a very natural shape in veg stage. And after pre fower I'll be deciding which needs lollipoppoing as the inters have a fair amount of space between the bottom nodes to the middle. So I reckon I'll get 70-75% of her to flip within the same week. Anything that goes beyond that will be clipped from the start of fattening phase. As energy is used so you really outta have everything you don't plan on bringing to harvest stripped or be ready to part harvest which is always a pain. Shes a very big girl. So after pre flower I might supercrop her. (HST, and tie her nodes in place either with a cross or some form of support) Thanks to my sponsor from Green House Seeds. Welcome to my Lemon Orange Diary sponsored by Green House Seeds. Day 57-64 Week 9 She grew very well. Really healthy through pre flower & very happy to be high stressed. Kept up with Atami Bloom Stim until mid wk 9. And then I started pushing PK booster from plagron and made sure silica boost was given for the stress. Which helped the nodes not break as I HST'ed after pre flower, so there was no growth in the nodes to spring them back up. So the stems walls needed to be strong. And they were. Some naturally did rise towards the light. But not enough to point to rapid but stiffness back into the nodes upward growth, so it's important to have strong membrane walls. After pre fower was over, I cleaned her up also. Took 70% of everything, (defoliation that was done over 3 days.)The other 30% was removed during ripening as it had loads of (hat leafs) leafs surrounding the tops of the main buds blocking light to buds below. Plant has moved great through pre flowering. Very uneven nodes. And where the rest of where my plants where I needed this smaller. So early into week 9 I lollipopped were I knew the HST bend be everywhere below it was stripped. 90% of the nodes where HST'ed. Maintenance Summary 1:Start of wk 9.i lollipopped her, Everything below the planned HST points was removed 2:Defoliations were done in 3 stages. Removing big fan leafs once pre fower was over..I left more than I normally would as HST was in the same wk so I didn't wanna stress too much 3: HST'ed was applied and to make sure she kept a level canopy her nodes were tied down. 4: made sure the soil didn't dry up and was given silica to protect the nodes main membrane as the nodes would be moving for a wk r 2 until it stiffened during fattening. Could take the strings of nodes as they are now set (the nodes). Done a light defoliation, just mainly old fan leaves, and a small amount of inner fans/sugars. On full Xpert Nutrients now. Can get a gasey lemon + Clemintine bang. Very dank orange zest. Combo works really nicely. The strong gas works very well with Citrus. Always a fav of mine. Lemon & gas. Will 100% look into more of a scrog operation for my next LO. coming September. Sry about missing pics. Lost a lot. Just finished fattening, in ripening a few days. Period was short as I've been running a 14hr day for 14 days now. Only using my FC3000, and will continue for this phase of my crop. Defol'ed a good bit to open her up. Nutrients are the same as before. 2x 700ml 450-500 core NPK master bloom a wk. 1x of 700 ml of each other. + 1 good 1.2L of tap 6.7 all ph'ed feed for the last 2 days. What a nice harvest. Fingers were like id been playing with super glue. And stunk of lemon orange + fuel. Sex on stems. Really nice harvest. I stripped thus one down a lot more than what I normally do ad it had a lot of weird shapes. And the HST points would of made for an uneven dry in parts. Took over 14 days to dry at 19.5c 50-55rh. 2 months curing. Yet, not much was left to show. I don't think it was THE BEST pheno. So I will do a hunt on this and grow 3 while prepping clones and will find that perfect one and grow the oranges off it. Fuck lemon is GOOOODDDDDDD LEMON & ORANGES SOOOOO FUUUCCCCKKKIIINNNGGGG
