Blue Shark is looking fab! Still a darker green than everyone else. There are 2 videos this week, one where I explain how my plan for a tomato roof using materials I already had didn't work out, and the 2nd being about the rogue who grew in my pea bed (whom I affectionately call "Rogue One") who has been raised almost exclusively on my homemade compost. I had people who were concerned last year when I made my own compost tea from the compost in my pile. People were concerned about bacteria, nutrient profile, etc. I feel like a lot of people get really regimented in their feeding, and they sort of forget that these are plants and they can adapt. They take what they need if it's available. I moved away from using mineral salts this year because you have to be careful with so many of these fertilizers so that you don't burn the plant, you have to flush it so you don't get a harsh smoke, mineral salts causing lockout, etc. If you stick with products that are natural you don't really have to worry about nute burn. You don't have to flush for an extended period of time before harvest. You don't have salts building up in the soil that are detrimental that you have to periodically flush and then add beneficial microbes back in. There is another way.

This bitch hermed on me. 2nd one this grow. I didn't want to kill it so I separated it from the other plants in it's own tent. Running it on a 5 gallon reservoir. Going to pick as many bananas off as I can and pick out the seeds and stems when I smoke it. Just like the old days

Harvest went well. Chopped them down. Hanging now with a gentle fan. Chopped a few lower branches to dry and smoke while waiting. Havent weighed anything yet. Will add weights to this week soon. A total of 14.3 oz.

What a journey this has been. This girl weighs(dry) 263grams plus 23 grams(untrimmed lower nugs) could have pulled out 350g if let her veg a bit longer. The taste is like sweet candy and soda a hint of citrus. The effects are as follows, creative, giggles and energetic but once its nearly gone out. You will feel really sleepy and when you wake up you will feel really hungry. Anyways, thank you guys who have been following my journey. Next grow will be seeds from Sunkentreasure seeds

Week 7 of Veg. 4x4 filled out very nicely. Added in a 2nd 500W light and spread the plants out a bit more to allow more airflow/light penetration. Now the fun begins :D

Today, I spent some time tying down branches under the net again. It’s still a tricky task as the branches are quite brittle and break easily. Fortunately, the plants recover quickly, and so far, I’ve mainly noticed new growth sprouting from where the branches broke. Watering Experiment: Too Much or Just Right? Two days ago, I decided to give each plant an additional 2 liters of water to test the effects of what felt like overwatering. The results were interesting: High Humidity: The relative humidity spiked to 74%, which I consider a minor downside. Lower Temperature: Dropped to 29°C. Explosive Growth: The plants responded with vigorous growth! Given the humidity increase, I’ve decided to water the plants heavily only once a week. This approach should give them time to rest and prevent the growth of more mushrooms in the soil—yes, I’ve spotted a few popping up from the pot’s surface. Monitoring pH and Nutrient Reservoir I’ve also noticed that the pH has crept up to 6.2, indicating that the nutrient water hardness is decreasing. This suggests it might be time for a full reservoir refresh. Tonight, I plan to inspect the reservoir and clean it out. Thankfully, my hydro pump makes draining it a quick and easy process. Observations & Next Steps Continue training and monitoring branch recovery. Stick to the adjusted watering schedule. Refresh the nutrient reservoir and recalibrate the pH if needed. The grow is progressing nicely, and the plants seem happy despite some of the challenges. She is getting more and more white hairs. We exposed a little more the bud sites.

I tried wettrim and drytrim to understand what i prefer. The wettrim dried inside dryferm bags inside a drybox with ventilation that i build myself. The drytrim dried inside the tent and got a trim after 9 days. Havent tried the buds yet since they have to cure first but they smell very lemony so far. Curing happens in grovebags. Half of the bags also got a boveda to see the difference if its worth it for the future or not.
