The cold significantly stunted development. I cut it 20 days too early because I was afraid of botrytis spreading from other plants, but that was my mistake, as botrytis never reappeared on subsequent plants. 8 days drying with indirect wind and dark place. Small 3-liter vase, just a few grams, the crop still had more time to mature.

Last two weeks have gone well for her. She will be unleashed finally in the next couple weeks if weather permits! I can only imagine what she is going to do once her roots can spread. I predict a massive size increase once she is put into the ground. I know she will have to be supported after about a month outside so it will grow without problems. Don't want her to snap her own branches because of awkward wait placement or because her buds become too heavy. Plants definitely produce better when they have supports for the buds/ branches. Allows them to stack on bud instead of putting energy towards holding itself up. Until next time happy growing to everyone!

This poor, sad little girl. I feel bad for neglecting her earlier on. But hopefully she will live up to her namesake and persevere! (I guess it is a little messed up that the strain is Widow Remedy and I killed both of her husbands😕) Anyway... So bugs suck, and I sprayed with some neem oil and put out a sticky trap. Fertilized with some of the Coast of Maine and watered it in with some lime water. Heat wave is moving through right now, I hope she likes it hot😎 Forgive my slurred speech in the video, it's been a long week and my brain is addled😜

Hey agaaain! Let me start this week by saying wooooow, this was a crazy week and not because I made a mistake but rather because I had to do a lot of things to avoid unnecessary stress. Now allow me to elaborate why I tried to avoid unnecessary stress: I had to move out because the landlord where I lived sold the house (this is the main reason why I couldn't update the journals earlier 😛) and gladly I had friends who already owned an empty grow tent (4x4, I loved the size! 😍) and they allowed me to use it and bring my plants and my lights there for some days. I knew this whole experience would be stressful for my babies, but I had to do it anyway (and I'm glad I wasn't in the middle of flowering 😨). The first visit: Moving them to my friend's house was a non-issue! 👌 I fed the plants at their place (with some extra water and slightly more fertilizers) and everything was great! 😊 The second visit: After two days I visited my babies and the humidity was close to the 85%. That scared me but they also grew a lot during those days which I think was... cool? I installed a new extractor in the tent and used it to get more fresh air inside and obviously that fixed all the humidity issues I had! The plants looked great! 😍 The last visit: After some days I went to their house again and yiiiikes! Here is when the issues began! I couldn't visit earlier (thanks to the move) and the plants were super thirsty! Specially Boomer. I took them to my new house and when they were inside their tent I fed them some pHed water and then I allowed the plants to rest for some extra hours! 😱 Originally I wanted to go into flower after this week but clearly I couldn't start it immediately since the plants were clearly stressed! So I allowed them to rest for a little more! Anyway, the last photos show how the plants look after I allowed them to rest for some extra hours and after feeding them some water. Strong genetics, resistant, fast enough, easy to grow and never pretentious. I will try further training techniques on this strain, while waiting to make more room in the box to plant the Red hot cookie as well. I am lowering the pH value by another 0.2, so now it is 6.3-6.2 until the end of the flowering phase. This will allow it to absorb all the nutrients it needs that are available to it 👌. The scent is getting stronger, with a hint of citrus. The next update will come on a beautiful Wednesday. Stay high. Blütewoche 8 – King Juice kurz vorm großen Finale Zeitraum: 10. Juli bis 17. Juli Blütetag: 49 bis 56 Blütewoche 8 ist durch und langsam wird's ernst. Die King Juice steuert ganz klar auf die Zielgerade zu. Ich hab diese Woche nicht viel verändert. Ganz entspannt gegossen. Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit kontrolliert. Der Wert lag zwischen 50 und 64 %, also alles im grünen Bereich. Einmal hab ich leicht entlaubt, damit die Luft besser zwischen den Buds zirkulieren kann. Zusätzlich hab ich noch einen Mini-Luftentfeuchter in die Box gestellt. Nicht das die Luftfeuchtigkeit doch nochmal höher wird als gewünscht. Gegen Ende der Woche gab’s dann nochmal eine ordentliche Ladung Wasser, insgesamt 8 Liter und auch die Würmchen haben was zu knabbern bekommen. Die Buds reifen weiter aus, und unter dem Mikroskop sieht man schon was. Einzelne Trichome verfärben sich von klar zu milchig und zum Teil schon leicht bernsteinfarben. Es ist noch dezent, aber der Prozess ist ganz klar im Gange. Ich schätze, eine Woche braucht sie noch, um richtig fertig zu werden. Wenn alles so weiterläuft, wird nächsten Donnerstag geerntet. Ich werde das natürlich noch ein paar Tage weiter beobachten und mich dann endgültig entscheiden aber mein Gefühl sagt, nächste Woche ist es so weit. Die Buds sind der Wahnsinn, richtig schön fett, kompakt, steinhart und voll mit Harz. Sie glitzern, kleben wie Sau und verströmen einen unfassbar fruchtig-süßen Duft 😍 Und was auch cool ist, ein paar Blätter haben sich leicht ins Lilane verfärbt, nicht ganz so stark wie bei ihrer Mutter, aber da geht vielleicht in der letzten Woche noch was. Mal sehen, bin gespannt. Ich kann mich ehrlich gesagt kaum sattsehen. Es ist einfach jedes Mal wieder ein Genuss, die Box aufzumachen und diese Pracht zu bestaunen. Ich bin super happy mit der Entwicklung und freu mich riesig auf die letzte Woche 😊
