~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2206 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2206 girls and they're on a roll! When I checked on them today they both were still moist so I let them go until I check them tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure they don't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch them grow! 12/17- Yesterday I watered them both and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen their branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched my girls grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered them each with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses which I then ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. They're really starting to take off now, a sure sign their roots are beginning to get well developed. Their 4th set of leaves have emerged and I'm thinking over topping them in the next day or so. 12/21- Well, yesterday I went ahead and topped the #1 Tester #2206 taking off the 5th leaf set. Hopefully she won't stress out over this and starts shooting out those secondary branches. I left the #2 alone as she's not quite as tall as the #1. I may not top the #2 as a sort of comparison to see how each grows out. Today I watered them both with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water each which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into their drip pans so they can draw it up into their medium, the rest I applied to the top of their medium just to moisten it. Well there's two weeks of veg behind us now, Week Three of vegetation is beginning and they should really start to take off! 😍👍 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Harvest on day 91 of cycle , day 54 of flowering.. I could leave it few days more for sure however my ladt harvest is nearly finishing so I need to dry this plant as soon as possible hehehe.. Purple punch has really frosty buds, it didn’t grow as much as I wish(I had to move the plant to the toilet with my burple light as there was no space for 3 plants in my 2x4 tent) but they are looking insanely good, with a strong flavor of grape, I am impressed with this smell/flavour, all covered in trichomes, I can’t wait to smoke it.. So my way to harvest it is I cut it down on the main branch and hang to dry out.. all the plant .. I prefer dry trim because it’s way easier to trim.. so now I am gonna hang it for 2/3 weeks and then start trimming.. I will update yield and tasty as soon as I finish trimming.. Overall I am happy with the results 🙌🏼.

Day 10: They have been growing nicely. Beautifull green leafs, no deficiencies or stress. I did some Defoliation and I'm planning to top some plants but not all of them since they make nice main colas as well. Also nice roots so far, will let those grow for another 1-3 days before repotting them into 7L pots. While doing that I will add some new clay for beneeth the pots to have a good run-off. I will add some mycorizza as well to improve the roots and I will water them again with lots of Regulator(anti-stress) and Rhyzotonic( root stimilator). Some days after that, they are ready to get pushed into flowering. Sativas like to grow twice and sometimes even more in size. So the size which they are at the end of this week will be enough. So at the end of this week you will see them being in 7L pots and in a bigger grow space under lots of lamps. There are like 3-5 plants not growing nicely. Might have to kill them. I'm not going to waste time,energy,nutrients on those if they don't grow in size in a couple of days. So might end up with just 235 plants. Il update again at the end of this week. Day 14: I almost finished the rest of the grow room. I still need to adjust and replace the lamps some more and other things. Did many defoliation below the plants. Thoose branches are never going to preduce nice and thick buds anyways. Such a waste of energy and nutrients. Because of the removing of branches and leafs, They get a better airflow and better exposure of light as well. So for now they look a little bit ugly haha and not so bushy anymore, but they will grow into fine looking ladies. I kept 5 or 7 branches each plant and some bigger plants I even topped because I don't want them to stretch alot. Another reason is that I want bigger stems. If other plants that didnt get topped, not improving stems I can still top them until the end of week 1 of flowering. I'm putting them into flowering, by putting the lightschedule to 12hours of light and darkness. It will take a few days before they start preflowering. The first buds will be seen in like 10-14 days. Untill next week!

Week 4 of flower and looking great. I cut too much of my Fox Farm Grow big out of the feeding regiment and maybe a little Potassium deficency showing as well. Gave a full water change and should be on point now for the rest of flowering. She is stacking quickly.

Flip day 4: I have not diaries as flowering yet as they are not yet showing heads. I consider this transition period to be full veg and get a more accurate timing for flowering. once they show I will be flowering. All three have been responding well to their switch. Wedding Cake is a chunky and good sized girl now and after stretch should be my perfect grow size to room size. She will be a heavy budding girls by the look of her stems at this point. nodes are stacked closely so will stay sticky too. Black ghost. o.g has thankfully woke up a little more now she realises winter is coming and she needs some cock !!!. lol She has thickened intensely below the canopy and does have some very strong looking side branching fighting through too. Her leaves are very indica thick and dwarf her GG#4 neighbours. I can see her as a finished girl and i think she will surprise me with yield too. Gorilla Glue #4 is growing in expected and classic "skinny minney" style with her ebony looking branching and svelte appearance. She ain't fooling me as she is creeping up in size and height. The leaf colour is a little bit "veiny" but let's see how she stretches. I expect big things from this sneaky lady too. They are a credit to Original sensible seeds and so far a very responsive group. Be Safe and healthy

Still trucking along. I had my lights turned up a bit high, I've turned them down a few days ago and all the plants seemed to enjoy it.

The week ends Sunday Mar-1, being day 61 of flowering since flipping the light. From first pistils shown, it's day 45 which is a more accurate snapshot of where the plants actually are in their maturity. The buds development is progressing albeit slowly and trichomes are still clear across the canopy with lots of frost on the sugar leaves. The buds have beautiful structure and quite fluffy. Swelling has started on some calyxes. Light is maintained at 30cm above the canopy, with single daily fertigation at lights on - watering 3L per day. Fertigation pH target is 5.9-6.2 whilst flowering. Stopped the practice of fertigating at lights off due to the springtales infestation. Need to allow at least 2-4hrs of lights on period after fertigation. The coco is not dry but still damp on the surface after 24hrs from fertigation. Trying to maintaining an average RH in the space at 50% but it's getting harder now with all flowers. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The grow setup includes; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom. Passive & active intake of air is from a closed off section of the room where the central heating boiler sits - the intake is warm air (20 degC.) and fairly dry (40% RH) during the winter months. - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 - ventilation fans - aquarium heater - small oil heater - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots and 3.5L general pots for seedling stage - Canna Coco substrate and nutrients - GHE Flora trio nutrients - pH and EC/TDS meters - 2x Govee Thermo/Hygro meters (one at canopy the other at the roots level)

The grow ended on day 100 from seed. The latest trichome check showed plenty of amber on the buds, so it was time for her to come down. 784g/27.66oz wet - anticipating perhaps 5-6oz dry - time will tell. Overall this grow has gone pretty smoothly. Update 14/6/25: ---------- Final yield was 4.815oz (136.5g) dry.

Not much this week except watering every 2 days with 1/4 gallon to each. Day 51 - rain water pH 6.4 Day 53 - rain water w/ Recharge @ 1 tsp per gallon & Natural Wet @ 1 tbsp per gallon pH 6.9 Day 55 - rain water pH 6.4 StayWeeded ✌️

At the end of week 3 I topped one of the strawberry cough they are all looking good and starting to veg I’m all caught up with the grow diary’s and will add at the end of every week. I’m in Australia and did start a little late into the season but hope to get a decent grow in they will be at my brothers once transplanted and he has a few aswel that I will add into the grow log nothing but sun and water only use a little thrive that’s from Bunnings that I get from my pops shed. They will be in a nicer cleaner soil when transplanted into veggie beds and will have chicken poo as a nutrient source first time ever using chicken poo so see how it goes. Will keep the grow log updated and hopefully everything goes all well for the travel and transplant for the plants in the next few days

So its day 149 and its time for Girl to go ... I left her for 72 hours of darkness, trichs are milky with 30% amber. She started to flower on day 2 . So i kind off hoped for her to mature quick.... And on day 64 of flower she is done, one of the fastest girls. I could push her like a week more, but she is fading and i dont like to slaughter buds while triming , because i dont like yellow leaves ;))) Two records left in longest diary, one for harvest, one for result. Amazing journey ... Happy growing !

They bounced back great after breaking some necks, I’ll add one more layer of trellis a foot above each of these to seperate new growth but otherwise we just let it ride to harvest from here. Adding mammoth microbes at .6 ml/gal also. For veg just use b1/b2 at 5g/gal same for clones. Start microbes with clones through flower.

Beautiful beautiful girl. I love their genetics through and through. Never have I grown a plant from sweet seeds that wasn’t fire. The smells the density the entire process. This bitch is beautiful and really throws frosty dense fire nugs. I haven’t been able to test smoke her because I’m taking a tolerance break for a vacation out of country but you bet your ass the second I’m home I am rolling a blunt if this beautiful lady. I just am so happy with how she turned out. Super happy to have watched this bad bitch grow. It’s been an honor.

Critical Orange Punch has closed the vegetative phase with a robust and compact development. It has a less marked stretch than Skywalker, with a stockier and denser structure. The branches were completely distributed under a 120x120 SCROG net, with controlled defoliation 48 hours before the switch. 📊 Current conditions: EC solution: 1.35 mS/cm pH: 6.3 Evening temperature: 19.8°C 💧 Fertilization (identical to Skywalker): Regular integration with Cal-Mag and B-52 to support structure and management of transition stress. 🧠 Observations: Excellent vegetative-productive balance. Uniform absorption, with regular drainage. The leaves have turgidity and good transpiration. The plant benefited from a radical treatment based on Sensizym and Voodoo in the previous phase. 🔧 Goal: to intensify the assimilation of sugars and improve the elasticity of cell fibers for the future load of buds. Rhino Skin was introduced early.

Weather is better now. Slug Population ist decreasing.
