However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). So started this in mid June/early July in my greenhouse. This was my first greenhouse grow! During the summer temps reached up to 130f. I was a little nervous with the heat during early flower but she handled the heat very well. Before the chop, temps got low as 45f at night. I never had any issues with pest (I used 500 lady bugs and 2 praying mantis). Checked every week for mold since the buds are super stacked. No bud rot or any type of issues. I will grow this again because I didn’t take clones :(

So i went for quick vacation/holidays to Georgia (love it!) and asked a friend of mine that lives nearby to take care of me babies 😊 so he watered the girls every 3,5 days on average (4 times during 14 days) with just as little as 100 ml per plant. Now I come back yesterday and I’m very happy with my girls - they look super thriving and eager to grow! I’m surprised as so very different they look from my previous grow in same setup except hydroponics - this time in soil in same day of vegetation they look much more dense and just thriving! Wow soil makes huge difference indoors. I saw 2 top leaves (on pictures & on video) with light nutrients burn (no idea why - I just added root juice). Also I know for sure that my light timer has broken - there were days when light was 24h on...I don’t know what might that cause... but now is all good - light timer fixed. I think that I will just keep feeding them water. What do you think guys? Would love some advice! Oh and pictures and videos are from yesterday. Before topping and after topping. On day 1 week 3 flower I am slowly readjusting blumats after reset from fertilizer clog. The flower clusters are building. The leaves are still somewhat canoeing but it seems better since I dimmed light back to 75%. On day 4 I can tell that the stretch is over now. The girls tops are still too close to the grow lights, but it is too late to top/prune the plants so I may end up with some burnt colas. I am going to take the risk and know at the bare minimum I will have all the lower bud sites that are in the proper light intensity. On day 6 the flowers are definitely getting larger.The girls are starting to put off their blueberry smell nothing strong yet but it is building :). On day 7 the girls are doing well, i look forward to seeing the buds put on weight and smell :)

Jedna Chew už je dole a ve stanu zůstávají ještě 2× Chew, 2× Purple King Cartier a 1× King Cartier. 🌱 Paličky krásně tvrdnou a aroma je už pořádně cítit 😁 Myslím si, že za nějaké dva týdny bude hotovo, ale uvidíme podle holek 😉 Na jedné Chew jsem našel dvě semínka, tak snad to bylo všechno a víc už se neukáže 😅 Ode dneška jedu už jen základ v dávce 2 ml/l, tak snad to holkám na poslední dva týdny bude stačit. Zatím velká spokojenost. Díky všem za podporu a ať to roste.

The Titan is growing beautifully and the smell keeps getting better by the day. This is the first time using an Airpot to grow and I noticed the plant does need more water compared to a Geotextile pot. Luckily I can check up on her a few times a day and give water when needed. Not much to do in terms of training as this lady practically trained herself ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I add updated daily instead of at the end of the week, so more pics and video's coming up in the next few days.

Should be ready to transplant soon 👌👌 I have now moved the seedlings into a 3x3 tent with a 650w philzon LED light Just until late veg early flower then they are going back under the Spider Farmer for the Full MOT and Output lol Humidity has been easy to deal with luckily . I have been spraying around the solo cups and near the stem with plain water to keep it moist and Humid. Seem to be loving it so far 👌 Next step is wait til these are reaching edge of solo cup and transplant into bigger pots. Germination was success 🙌 The countdown begins!

Week 3 of flower has brought some frost along with it. It has also seen the stretching slow right down so she should really go into bud production mode now. I top dressed with some of my high N amendment mix and my flower mix at a 50/50 ratio as she was looking a little pale so I figured a little more N was needed to keep her happy. Plus the flowering mix to side in bud production. I have upped waterings to 17-20 gallons every 2-3 days and she seems to be enjoying a little extra water. I have been spraying her with OMRI fungicides and I haven’t seen any powdery mildew this week 😎 Onward! 😎🍿🍻🌱
