Grow report week 4: The training and the topping Hello dear growers and groweresses, it’s time for an update on my grow. My plants have completed the fourth week and have grown further. But they have also experienced some measures that I will tell you about. The training This week I continued the low-stress training (LST) and tied the plants further. The LST is a method to gently bend and tie the plants to improve the light distribution and air circulation. The goal is to keep the plants low and wide and promote more side shoots and flower heads. The topping In addition to the LST, I also applied the topping to make the plants even bushier. The topping is a method to cut off the top of the plant to interrupt the apical dominance and produce more main shoots. The goal is to branch the plant and produce more flowers. I performed the topping as follows: I watered the plants well to reduce the stress. I cut off the top of the plant above the third or fourth node to create two new shoots. I observed the plants and looked for signs of stress or shock. The topping also worked well and the plants recovered quickly. They formed two new main shoots that will later become large colas. They also put more energy into the side branches, which will also carry more flowers. The fertilization I also fertilized for the first time this week, although I actually wanted to start late with it. I used the Fish-Mix from BioBizz to give the plants more nitrogen. Fish-Mix is an organic liquid fertilizer that consists of fish parts from the North Sea and organic sugar beet extract. It stimulates the biological activity of the soil and the plant growth. The Fish-Mix did well for the plants and they showed more growth. They formed more leaves and shoots and became greener and healthier. They also absorbed more nitrogen and produced more proteins. The outlook I am very satisfied with the result of the fourth week. My plants have been well trained and topped and have shown great growth. I am very curious about the next week, where I have to activate my setup completely to give the plants their final place and pots. It will be exciting for me to see if my system works as I wished. I will continue to observe the plants and respond to their needs. I will adjust the light intensity, the fertilization and the training to achieve the best results. After 4 days of heavy rain, the first mold appeared... So I spent about 18 hours searching for plants and picking out mold with tweezers After last year's experience with another seed bank, I expected the plants to be very affected by mold, but I have to say that Fast Buds genetics coped very well! Mold appear mainly on blisters to which the stem of the leaf leads water, which then collects between the stem and the blister I trimmed the plants more so that the air flows better and that water does not stick to them The plants look healthy and the flowers are gaining strength Especially the dark purple phenotypes look very dense and hard. it also looks very resistant to mold Very pleasant sweet fruity scent I haven't seen my children for 3 days, it's raining extremely ... the last time I was chased out by swarms of ants in the early evening, I've never experienced this before, there were maybe a million of them and they sat on me and on the plants I'm finally going to visit them tomorrow, I expect I'll have a lot of work to do with mold and I hope the swarms of ants haven't harmed them in any way

6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. I hope you enjoy the pics. 6/15/2023 Week 10- Day 3 of Flower (Day 133 overall) Auto Pilot Day 8.. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.

On day 56 the girls were 70/30 cloudy to amber trichomes (my preference) they were ready for harvest. I took clones from pheno 3 and pheno 5. I will be monster cropping these clones to preserve their genetics. the girls went into 48 hours of darkness right after. On day 58 the girls were chopped. The tent was cleaned top to bottom and we started our drying process. We will be shooting for 60-65 percent RH with a temp of 60 degrees. I expect this dry to go 10-14 days. I will update a final dry weight, pics, and smoke test in a few weeks after the cure. 19th of April day 40 above soil, Plants are looking healthy I broke one branch while low stress training but it didn’t effect the growth it’s still the fastest growing plant in the tent, maybe another week or two veg and then flip to flower 🍁

¡Hola, amigos! Week 12 is here, and my tent has developed a truly intense aroma. Just ten minutes of airing it out, and my entire apartment is infused with its delightful scent. In Week 5 of flowering, I treated them to a revitalizing compost tea, hoping they'll bulk up beautifully. Trichomes are absolutely everywhere, even on the sugar leaves, glistening like tiny crystals. Other than that, it’s just another week of patient waiting. Day81: Almost everything is fine; a couple of the lower leaves have turned slightly yellow. In week six, I’ll start giving them 50% of the recommended amount of Fish-Mix and Heaven by Biobizz, observing how they respond.

Experiment failed; unable to control the staked arms. Allowing them to become main stems. Expecting a dozen colas. Yellowsticky traps capture hundreds of thrips. She is just beginning to become a girrrrl.
