Day 1 VPD : 0.4-0.8 kPa
Day 2 VPD : 0.4-0.8 kPa
Day 3 VPD : 0.4-0.8 kPa
Day 4 VPD : 0.4-0.8 kPa
Day 5 VPD : 0.4-0.8 kPa
Day 6 VPD : 0.4-0.8 kPa
Day 7 VPD : 0.4-0.8 kPa. Transplant jiffy pellet to 0.5 L coco fiber pot. Mycotrex applied to the hole and sprayed with kelp extract.
Day 8 VPD : 0.4-0.8 kPa
Day 9 VPD : 0.4-0.8 kPa. VPD went too high ( 3.4 kPa ) for about 5 to 6 hours. Tobacco mosaic virus patterns ( i will keep an eye on that ) and calcium toxicity appeared. VPD corrected and plant sprayed with kelp extract.
Day 10 VPD : 0.4-0.8 kPa
Day 11 VPD : 0.4-0.8 kPa. Calsium toxicity stoped. Transplant to 15 L fabric pot with 2.5 bio tabs. Mycotrex applied again in the plant hole and plant sprayed with kelp extract.
Day 12 VPD : 0.4-0.8 kPa. I accidentally poke the air circulation fan without noticing it and it was pointing direct at the plant. Wind stress signs appeared. Sprayed with kelp extract and hopefully will back up soon.
Day 13 VPD : 0.4-0.8 kPa. Looks a little better.
Day 14 VPD : 0.4-0.8 kPa. Sprayed with kelp extract.
Conclusion of the week : It's not a very heat tolerant strain and it is very difficult to maintain the temperature and the humidity. I have something in mind to drop the temperature. I hope it will work. Anyway when i started i knew that i will have heat issues so it's ok. Maybe until it starts flowering the temperatures will drop a little bit.
Day 15 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. Unfortunately my fogger doesn't work any more . My RH is way to low and my temperatures very high.
Day 16 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 17 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. Leafs are getting dark green. Because of high transpiration the plant is drinking more water so the nutrient uptake is getting higher.Normally i would lowering my nutrients ( because of high VPD ) but i don't use any liquid nutrient considering i put the bio tabs in the soil. My only solution is to flush in order to get rid of the nutrients from the soil and then start using bio grow but i don't want to do that.
Day 18 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 19 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. The plant is now very dark green and the leafs feel like paper.
Day 20 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. The plant day by day looks worst but it's still growing. I can't really do anything right now. I am going to start spraying it with water and hopping for the best.
Day 21 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 22 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 23 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. The plant is growing a little bushy and i don't like it. I moved it as far as i could from the lamp ( my grow space is very limited ). I want it to get tall quickly and touch the scrog net. I am going to start spraying it with water as many times as i can to help it with the low humidity.
Day 24 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 25 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. The plant looks better since i started spraying with water. Also it looks like its starting to stretching a little bit.
Day 26 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. It got a little taller.
Day 27 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. I decided to raise the pot so the plant can touch the scrog net and i did an HST at the main stem. After that i sprayed with kelp extract.
Day 28 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. It looks like it didn't stressed at all. It is growing like nothing happened.
Day 29 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 30 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 31 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. The plant has been watered with compost tea.
Day 32 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. The plant has been lightly defoliated.
Day 33 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 34 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. The plant has been lightly defoliated.
Day 35 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. The plant has been lightly defoliated.
Day 36 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. Since i started watching grow diaries i saw several people get in the hospital and guess what.... i got into hospital and stayed for 4 days. So no scroging or defoliation for the next days.
Day 37 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 38 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 39 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. I am very frustrated. While i was in the hospital my girlfriend informed me that we have an electricity power cut at my area. The power cut lasted for 30 hours. I hope this will not affect the yield or the quality or turn it into hermie.
Day 40 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. I got back from the hospital and perform a deep defoliation and scrog the plant since my girlfriend doesn't know how to properly sgrog. I am very angry with the power cut. The plant has developed leaves with 3 and 2 fingers and reminds me plant that has been reveged but its an auto.... I am so so angry.
Day 41 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 42 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 43 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 44 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. The plant looks like it was stressed to much from the power cut and stopped growing. No growth since the power cut ( day 39 ).
Day 45 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 46 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 47 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 48 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. I think its coming back slowly. I can see some leaf development but the buds aren't growing. I am watching it closely for bananas formation. It looks way more stressed than my other plant ( GSC ).
Day 49 VPD : 3-3.5
Day 50 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 51 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. Buds are starting to grow again. No signs of male flower.
Day 52 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 53 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 54 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 55 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa. The plant has been watered with compost tea.
Day 56 VPD : 3-3.5 kPa.
Day 64 VPD : 1.7-2.4 kPa. The plant has been heavily flushed with water.
Day 65 VPD : 1.7-2.4 kPa.
Day 66 VPD : 1.7-2.4 kPa.
Day 67 VPD : 1.7-2.4 kPa.
Day 68 VPD : 1.7-2.4 kPa.
Day 69 VPD : 1.7-2.4 kPa.The trichomes are 90% milky 10% amber.
Day 70 VPD : 1.7-2.4 kPa.
A nice plant. I have grown it before and had way better results. Don't let that grow fool you. This grow had lots of difficulties as you can see from my diary ( especially the heat ). I once managed to pull from this strain in the past 250 grams !!!!
In general i am very satisfied considering the biggest problem i had which was the heat during all the growing period. I also had a power cut which stressed the plant very much to the point it stopped growing for a few days ( the most critical days 😡 😤 ) and developed 3 finger leaves. Despite the heat the buds are very frosty, they have a very strong smell like fruits and diesel and the density is decent. The buds dried for 9 days at 22 °C and 60% RH and now are placed at PP tapers with boveda envelops to cure. Smoke report at 2-3 weeks.
Fantastic work with the topping, cropping and training.
Now that the flower stage has started the early training is now going to pay off 👊
Beautifully dine so far. Bring on the big bud production and trichome development ✌️
Thanks for the update mate, I'll drop back in on the next update 👍
All the best
