7/8 still looking good still. Put her outside today and set up my drip irrigation for while im on vacation 7/10 had her outside for 2 days and she shot up like 4 inches. She's praying super hard. Shes loving the sunshine💚

I have had a very nice journey growing her, she has given a great quality and quantity pf buds, very hard dense flowrs with a clasic strong amnesia smell that I enjoy a lot specially for the happy energetic buzz that provides you.

Day 82. (1.8.) She have very nice smell like berries, spicy and flowery. I bough multipurpose magnifier today. Some trichomes are still clear so I'll give her 10 - 14 days.

Mexican Airlines is approaching cruising altitude!! LST has been working great so far IMO. The lower nodes that usually become the lower, less productive, branches are looking like main colas! I doing more LST on my new grows now too! Started feeding Fox Farm Big Bloom this week with Recharge.

I'll start checking trichs this week to see how they're looking I'll be looking for an 80/20 split of cloudy to amber. This week i flush the roots with tap water ( PPM : 310 , PH : 7.5) after i add water with 0.7 grow powder and 0.1g of Booster PK+ to reach 720PPM and adjust PH to 5.8 ---------------------------------------------------- -Daytime temperature: 27°C -Night temperature: 23°C -Humidity: 45-65% -Lamp: Mars Hydro FC3000. intensity 80% at 40cm from the top leaves -Room: Mars Hydro 100x100x180cm -Extractor: Mars hydro 402 CFM Max. power 2/10 -Substrate : 70% coco, 25% perlite, 5% vermiculite. Hello and welcome to week 7 beginning for Nesia, the largest and most advanced 6 week old plant I have ever grown. I update daily so week 6 is now complete. Please do check it out! I have added some comparisons shots of Karen, the oldest girl of this [G2] series to show just how impressive Nesia is. Nesia is 25 days younger than Karen and she is already a larger plant. This diary is not very popular or comment filled right now, but as this grow progresses I really think it's going to gain some attention. Nesia is going to be big. Day 44: Nesia stretching fast now. Day 45: Flowering is going well. I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week. Day 46: Fertigated 5l Day 47: Nesia is really moving into flower strongly now. Pistil development has started proper, stretching rapidly. Day 49: Nesia starting to pose me a challenge. She is big. Now by far the largest plant. She has reached 50cm height and 70cm across. I will add proper photos later and do a week summary. Day 49: Nesia is stretching really fast now. I hope she doesn't stretch much more but I fear we're only halfway done. She's way bigger than Karen now. Taller, wider. Fertigated 5l End of week summary... well what can I say Nesia has now surpassed Karen (25 days older) in every size and growth metric. She is following exactly the same pattern except without all the problems. I think she still has 2 weeks of stretching to go, on that basis I am expecting her to grow upto 25cm in the next week and the same again the week after - so I think Nesia is going to end up being about 1m tall. Honestly I hope not though, but let us see.

Background Fingers crossed that these Spicy Bitch regs provide at least one male so that we can back build some stock of it. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. Shoutout and cheers to @blendmedmedman. Hoping to have something back to ya in short order. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

01/03 These girls are growing fast. I will turn up the lights and stake over the next couple days. I may or may not defoliate. Well see how they look tied up. 01/05 They like the flower nutes and are starting to stretch!

I absolutely love to watch them grow! Especially that moment they hit their first growth spurt. I started with RO water that is remineralized for drinking purposes. The ppm is only 18! My tap is 156! So considering they don’t need much water, I’ve been stealing some of our drinking water. The RO water starts at pH of 7. After I add the nutrients, ppm of 249 @ pH of 5.8 while soil is still sweet @ pH of 7 I think my days are off as a new week begins on the last day of the previous week. I am going to leave that for consistency. 04/21 - Noticing some possible nutrient issues with the Fruity Pebbles for several days now. Going to see what she needs. Up front I’m thinking maybe just a super small amount of Amino Acids with a little Epsom Salt. Maybe she is struggling to access the nitrates from the neem cake. IF it’s a issues with nitrogen. We will see. Maybe she would benefit from some extra calcium?… Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Day 22 and I am noticing how these girls have been burning up a lot of potassium lately, dealing with the wind and sun 💨 ☀️, getting pushed around all day. I plant to top dress with some Kelp Meal pretty soon. Day 24 -> 4/22/22- a quote from the weather on today’s red flag warning and dust storm warning. “ HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging wind in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Satellite imagery. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.” I’m keeping the girls inside today. Day 26, I was planning to check the runoff on some of these girls, especially the fruity pebbles, however I messed that up as I also top dressed WAY too much of the seaweed bliss. So I flushed with plain RO water at pH of 7 until there was only slight coloration in the runoff. I didn’t check the runoff as a lot has changed with all that flushing. So next watering/feeding I will make sure I check the runoff on multiple plants. So the seaweed bliss with its 17 on potassium, seems to be the most likely culprit for why there is a bronze-ish color on the inside of the new growth. Hopefully a foliar feed of Epsom salts can correct the problem. Inside tent, lights on LOW. Noticing similar pattern in all of them to a degree, most noticeable in the fruity pebbles.
