So everything took off in flower, I was super harsh with the defoliating which initially I regretted, but was surprised with how they packed out during the following weeks. In general it's impressive how hardy these plants are. Even the outdoor grows yielded some quality. Add some more nuets (overdrive and carbo load), before flushing about 14 days before harvest, next time I'll do this earlier and really the Runtz could have gone another week but my drying needs to happen in the same space as my growing for now. Apologies for the quality of image, I'm just using my phone and some bits I have to document, I collect records too, so expect weird noises lol. Build a rotating plat from a lazt susan I found, has been the best piece of kit added this season.

Today is day 70 since the plants have sprouted, and day 27 of 12/12 light schedule. The buds have gotten a little plumper this week, particularly on the Train Wreck, but that plant seems to be a few days ahead in the flower process. I've been trying to overcome the yellow leaves on the Train Wreck plant, and I keep feeding the plant according to the "aggressive" feed chart from General Hydroponics, but it just isn't enough. I was a little worried about the pH in the soil getting too low or something, but the meter I have says it's actually on the high side. This point represents about halfway through the flower stage since I plan on going about 5 more weeks. The Train Wreck is expected to flower for 9-10 weeks, and the Royal Runtz for 8-9 weeks. The purple color on the Royal Runtz seems to be growing on each of the buds, and has a clear correlation to the amount of light hitting the bud. I'm interested to see if the buds below the canopy get the same purple coloration as the top buds. Temperatures were getting a little high early this week when I turned the light up to 95%, getting to about 82F. I moved the power supply for my light outside of the tent hoping it would reduce temperatures, but it only brought the temperatures down to 80F. On the bright side, my controller is generally keeping the humidity at 60% or less, compared to when the temperatures were at 82F and the humidity was closer to 65% most of the time. I measured the PAR for the tallest bud in the tent, which is getting about ~1200PAR, compared to the ~650PAR the Royal Runtz is getting. I wish I could lift up the Royal Runtz more to get it closer to even with the Train Wreck, but I've already lifted it up and both plants are bound by the scrog net. I noticed powdery mildew on a few leaves on the Royal Runtz, which I've been worried about given how bushy it is. The fan in the tent also doesn't blow directly on the plant, so I added a fan from my other tent to blow directly through the plant from the bottom, and moved the original fan to blow more directly on the Royal Runtz. I'll be turning off the humidifier completely for a bit while keeping a close eye on the plant to see if any more PM develops. Edit: While looking closer at what I thought was white powdery mildew, I noticed there were pollen sacks dropping pollen on the Royal Runtz plant. I sprayed the areas I saw polled/sacks with water and removed any buds I thought may have been affected as well as anywhere I saw pollen sacks. I'm sure I missed plenty, but I'll be watching the plants extra close from now on and assassinating any potential sacks I see. We'll see how seedy the tent gets, I guess.

Dealing with humidity issues with the amount of green in the tent. I really don't want to defoliate too much more. Around 62% rh with tent closed. Added another fan to keep air moving. I have a small dehumidifier arriving tomorrow, so that should help. Smell is becoming pretty strong.

What a happy girl! Have added no nutes yet and letting the soil do the work for now (NFTG4+extra perlite). I have done a second dosing of malted barley that was hand ground and dusted before watering. Seems to enjoy the soil and light so far. Wish I could get temps up reliably but the electric heater had temp swings that were going to cause issues, so she's gonna live in the 68-72 day time and 64 nighttime for now Also! Allright! After the suspected light stress last week, the plants are in their second day of 18/6 light schedule and it looks like they are recovering. The front-left plant's upper leafs seem to be straightening out and overall the plants look healthier than last week 👌. I plan to measure the light intensity, but as things look now, there were two plants that were more susceptible to stress from the LED lights. It's not what you want in a grow, but it has taught me a valuable lesson. Don't just blindly assume a plant can handle 100% of the grow light in the third week ✌️☘️ In the end I don't think it affected the grow that much. The plant on the left corner in the back is a bit taller compared to the rest, but all plants look healthy and ready to start blooming! I have applied some LST clips on the side branches of the tallest plant. This guides the branches sideways and creates a more open structure. I use the leafs for tea with liquorice in the morning and at dinnertime I chop them up for a mixed salad. The taste is really good and raw Cannabis is super healty as well.

Just continue to use canna nutritions and seems like biobizz all mix and canna have a lot of leaf growth other than light mix soil but all growing nicely some leafs yellowing at the bottom but might be light issues its only 2x 150w ts1000 and cant penetrat through the top leaves Ph 6.2-6.5 Ppm 1100 Humidity during rainy days 70% dry days 60% Temps not going over 26 and below 17

30.06.26Ein neuer Start 💚 Einmal kurz zur Genetik, es handelt sich um 3 Seeds der Banana Cherry Cookies von FastBuds, THC Gehalt um die 30% vom Samen bisschen Ernte ca 8 Wochen. Zur Keimung selbst, die Samen habe ich erstmal für 18-20std in ein Becher Wasser aufquellen lassen. Die Seeds danach in ein 1-2 cm tiefen Loch verbuddelt, Deckel drauf damit die Luftfeuchtigkeit ca bei 90% liegt. The thrips infection is gone but there’re still a lot of damaged leafs as you can see in the photos/videos, but the growth hasn’t slowed down which is good. Anyway after I did some research into the big bang strain I found out that the company that sells this strain recommends “flushing” for a few days every other week starting from day 16 of flowering. This is meant to speed up bud development and I think it really did something here as the buds got twice as big. But I didn’t exactly follow their recommendations as it calls for watering the plants with large amounts of water and letting the soil dry for a few days and I don’t feel comfortable with that, so I watered them every day but made sure the soil was dry.

Switched to my 5 gal pots now, dumped 6L of water into each plant to get the pH back down still waiting for them to dry out a little before the next watering which should be less so next week will have water amounts Height is for the holy punch again. Power flower is still around 1.5"

The plants have been flushing for almost a week now. Really starting to change colors. I can't wait to see how much I get from them.

That’s a wrap! Wow some really sizable nugs. Paid off to wait to stress train til later on as I feel like this plant had a lot more size and cola count to her than her sisters harvested a few weeks back. A treat to grow! On to the next 😘

So week 4 is in the books. I'm really happy with how everything has been going. I've been busy and stressed these last few weeks so to see how good these girls are doing puts a smile on my face. Day 50 She is drinking 3 liters every 3 days. Noticed the tips are slightly nute burn so have lowered the nutrients slightly. Bud sites filling in and swelling nicely. Very frosty. Swapped big bud for overdrive.
