Tuesday February 28th I dropped 5 Exotic Genetix “Yikes” in ph’d to 6 water. After 8 hours they’ll go into paper towels. Eventually ending up in rockwool. This is my first time running a RDWC system. I have to thank @budz_alot for helping me get this all together!!!

Hi growmies, this week the twins were not getting any sunlight at all so they had to keep each other warm in their clubhouse😸 now they are on my gardentable. to catch the few sunrays .. Peeking through the clouds.. One in 11 litr pot is 43cm 5L pot is 69 cm 5L- strechting like a beast.. she still looks like a big freak with her deformed leaves but i feel all she needs is just a few days of good sunlight (she is a bit 'droopy') and she will make buds like a beast.. i feel it could go either way or she will be a big bust or shes gonna make the biggest buds ever! 11 l pot stands strong and trying to take care of the hedgehogs as good as possible has bigger trunck and is much more sturdy.. she wil not dissapoint😎👌 They are getting a little bit attacked by spiders and spidermites in their clubhouse.. but thats no biggy few snails too.. but they are big enough to not get bothered by them and usually i catch them in their tracks (both, the spiders and the snails ;)) ihave only found one 'lil snail in my cheese..but have done no harm, just dazed from the cheese smell i think 😎👌 think gonna put some copper tape around the pot, just to be sure no snail invasion comes becouse it is so rainy.. but im just glad there are no caterpillers (yet) they can really munch on the plants! see ya next week with another episode of the Cheese Twins Chronicles hopefully in full sunlight! happy growing for all✊

First flowers appeared! :) The dehumidifier is still always ON to get +/-50% humidity. Weather is pretty wet outside, it doesn't help. I poor +/- 2l in each pot during each watering (a little bit more for the 26l pots). Second week with 12h of light and the stretch continues! Next week I will do a second big defoliation. Plants heights at the end of the week: Honey Melon Haze : 88cm (+18) O.G. Kush : 60cm (+12) Mandarin Punch #1 : 104cm (+28) Mandarin Punch #2 : 95cm (+24)

They get sticky now. Smell becomes stronger. I will feed them nutrients till end of week 6. Cant wait to try them.

Plants doing good clones have roots but not all guna wait 2 more weeks b4 transferring to new containers …one plant needs more food guna increase ppm

What else to add to that already mentioned above? we have reached the end of the cycle, I will smoke it shortly, it is drying in a WEDRYER bag that I recommend to everyone (photos and review in the coming days). I followed the nutrition program provided by Royal Queen Seeds and did not notice any signs of excess or deficiency until the plant's nature discoloration after the final flush. I will evaluate the fertilizer difference when the other honey creams have bloomed as well. I didn't really like the capsules as I had to keep them still for days between irrigations and the color of the water was not the best to see if you don't have a continuous oxygen pump. For the rest, a very simple and resistant variety, a nice yield overall, considering my cultivation size. 9 out of 10 for this variety, but I reserve the right to change the vote after the smoke report: p 😜

She's an octopus full of very stinky sweet nuggets man!. I'm in love with this black cherry punch #1 she's in a 30l pot and her performance has been amazing. Very happy with this lady. The aroma of the flowers is suuper sweet very like cherry and like strawberries. Such a pleasure to grow this Cherry pie 🥧🍒 cross 🔝💎👨‍🌾 PD: I had to tie some of the colas cause they were just Fallin cause of the weight of the nugs. A set of 2 branches broke because of the weight of the nuggets so I chopped it down the 2 colas and put them in the drying room.

This lady is incredible! Just going to town, starting her fade.... I've switched from the KoolBloom liquid to the dry formula now for her last weeks... and the EC is being brought down. Think I may have two more weeks with her? Certainly not more than 3... REALLY excited about this grow!

Update: 5 weeks of flowering complete. Gorilla widow started to hermie a bit on the bottom. I made the mistake of not removing enough popcorn buds and they didn’t get any light. I cut them all off the plant and now hoping it doesn’t hermie the rest of plant due to shock. We shall see, no big deal tho. The bigger deal... stayed at my Gf place from Friday- Sunday came back Sunday to find out the ballast for 1000watt had died!!! Ordered a new ballast and it will be here by Wednesday. For now I’m using an old 600 watt cool tube.

Hello Diary. We have reached the end of the journey.🙌 Fat Banana exceeded my expectations in every way. Smell, taste, yield. In the end I got a little less than 70g of dried flowers which is above average for my farm. 💪 Here's how it all went since the last call. 28/11/2020 - Day 65. Harvest. I checked with a microscope and most of the trichomes are milky and about 5% have turned brown. Everything is ready. After the last photo shoot, I cut the plant at the very bottom of the stalk. Before that, I prepared a handmade cardboard box in which I would put the branches to dry for a minimum of 10 days. After hanging the branches in the box, I put the box back in the grow box, between Haze Berry who had further extended their stay at the Farm. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.5 degrees and 38% humidity. 10/12/2020 - Day 77. After 12 days of drying, I took the dry branches out of the box and pruned the rest of the dry leaves. I put the dried flowers in jars, put in moisture fighters for better moisture regulation and for better curing. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.5 degrees and 39% humidity. 20/12/2020 - Day 87. Tasting. Great smoke, fruity tropical flavor. A brief overview of the whole story. Fat Banana Auto (Royal Queen Sees) - 18/09/2020 - Sprouted - 28/11/2020 - Harvest - Total 72 days. Three weeks of vegetation and six weeks of flowering. I did a small defoliation twice. A total of 68 g of yield. The best strain so far on my Farm. Finally, I would like to thank James from the Royal Queen Seeds, for his support, seeds and nutrients. Added the scrog net and defoliated a bit to help spread out the canopy. They are looking healthy and happy and ready for the flip! That deep-topping really was a great way of creating a very even and clean canopy (you'll see that in the next week's update)

Happy Holidays! Week 4 flower and not much to report. Didn’t do anything special, just water from drip, about 1 gallon over 24hrs. Drip turns on 4x during lights on. Light seems to be hitting everywhere fairly even. 2x TSW 2000’s are at about 75%, 20-22” from canopy. I might turn them up to 100% and see how they react for the final push, and then turn them down again nearing the end. I will also top dress again soon for the last time. Fungus Gnats are around but I wouldn’t say it’s an infestation, just got to put in a few more traps and I think the “Grub Grenade” is taking care of the soil. There is a 2” layer of straw mulch to help keep them off the surface comfortably. Gorilla Glue #4 genetics from Blimburn are strong, average size branching, frosty, sweet smell right NOW, nice internode spacing for light penetration yet stacking near the top, required less defoliation. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil.
