Flowering is going amazing, this candy cane is growing some very fast weight and caking up with Trichome’s. The sweet and slightly minty berry smell is growing in power day by day, and I’m very happy with how the size of the buds are developing since adding the increase of 2-8-4 and fish bone meal, just a little bit, not too much at all and she’s reacting great, knowing that the candy cane is a larger auto in size makes me a bit sad with the total size of this plant, but in its young age as my very first auto I believe I probably stunted it, but after all this and how she looks now Im more than happy with the growth, yield and quality of it, just speaking now as I do not obviously know how much I Will revive from it, I’m guessing about a ounce. No small bud sites other than maybe one on a lower branch that already has a main top cola on it. The main cola is massive and packing on a lot of size. I’ve switched the light to a hour less now as I am growing 2 photo indica L.A grape and with the season change I am having to fix my temp and humidity more for the photos, so changing to a 17-7 schedule has actually helped quite a lot and also has helped my other autos veg slightly better. But all in all I’m very exited!

1/14: Fed today. The weird little Lava Cake is finished stretching I guess...she's starting to stack up. The big one is fattening nicely. That plant is gonna weigh heavy. The bigger Slurricane is also gonna be a good producer. She's thick all the way down. The skinnier one will have a kickass cola, but has less lower branching. The Borderliners smell amazing...kindof a peppery piney mint fragrance. 1/18: Fed today and rearranged. Increased UVB exposure by another 30 mins per day 1/21: Fed today.

Day 60 (12/11) and starting the second week since I change the photoperiod, but she's not really flowering yet, she's producing florigen. The fertigation solution is only Bloom and also Foliar spray. Since it's still transition I won't raise the concentration, I'd rather go low on fertilizers. Day 61 she keeps on growing and stretching the actual shoots. She looks very pretty at this moment. I'm satisfied with her sight so far. Day 63 EC of run off is 1114 uS/cm. I'm using foliar fertilization (Foliar from Power Flower fertilizers) every day just after the lights go off. Day 64 (16/11/2019) fertigation includes 1.3 mL/L Cal-Mag, 0.2 g/L Flower Power "Foliar" fertilizer (this time is not foliar application, I added the solid to the solution, I think the only disadvantage with this is that one needs more powder and it's the most expensive of all the flower power fertilizer line) plus 0.3 g/L Flower Power Bloom Fertilizer pH 6.1 EC (inflow solution) is 1.33 mS/cm. Some shoots that are good candidates to bear buds in the future seem very weak so I'm supercropping a little more while there's still time! I want strong stems to carry heavy calixes ;) and I plan to fill the surface yet a little more Day 66 today a big defoliation, I don't like getting rid of that amount of stored energy, those precious carbs, and the associated risks of such a high stress technique, but some things have to be done. 🙏

Today marks the start of Week 6, Day 2 for the grow, and I’ve got a few updates. The PPMS aren’t quite where I want them after the last couple of feeds, so I’ll be continuing with higher feeds to bring those levels back up. It’s a bit of a balancing act, but I’m staying on top of it. I also made the decision to flip the light schedule from 16/8 to 12/12 today to initiate the flowering phase. I’m excited to see the plants start stretching and showing their full potential. It’s a big step, and I’m feeling good about the direction things are heading. Happy growing! 🌱💡🌿

Weather had been crazy good the last days. Plants are growing like crazy. Used a little Boom Boom Spray of Biotabs on the plants and now they look all nicely green again. Plant 2 and 3 where looking a bit light green before. Also going to give them some Orgatrex and Bactrex solution this week. Like the biotabs manual says in week 5. Growth: Plant 1: 12cm --> 21cm in 7 days (1.3 cm a day) Plant 2: 11cm --> 23cm in 7 days (1.7 cm a day) Plant 3: 10cm --> 20cm in 7 days (1.4 cm a day) Weather: MON 8/26 33°/ 17° actual temperatures TUE 8/27 33°/ 19° A thunderstorm in spots WED 8/28 28°/ 17° A strong thunderstorm THU 8/29 24°/ 12° Partly sunny; not as warm FRI 8/30 23°/ 12° Clouds and sun; pleasant SAT 8/31 28°/ 14° Clouds and sun; very warm SUN 9/1 20°/ 10° Clouds and sun; cooler

Start of week six we start seeing rapid growth from all plants in height and bud production. 1 of the ladies is an absolute freak but in all the good ways. Shes reaching a meter in length and is going to have 5 slender long kolers. The rest are all around the 80cm mark minus the two under achievers which are at the 70 cm mark which is amazing as the plants are supposed to be the size at harvest. Not changed much apart from excluding the voodoo juice nutrients ,adding another 600w light to the tent and a tiny bit of defoliation. My flat is starting to smell amazing. Sometimes I bury my nose in the outlet pipe and inhale a deep breath. Haaaah

This girl grew up to be 77 days old. She grew short and without training, focused most of her energy to her main top cola. Even with the cheap Chinese leds shes got dense and really does pack a punch with a strong aroma and flavor. I'm thinking I should probably get more of these beans while they're are still available because she could easily be end up being added to the favorites list. I'll probably put a few nugs away for a long term cure. She was a pleasure to grow.

The weather's finally starting to warm up. It feels so good to have the sun out and to open the windows. With all this extra sunshine, my pound cake plant is really taking off! It's growing so fast, and it's starting to look really full and healthy. I can almost see tiny buds on the ends of the branches - maybe it'll even have flowers soon!

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. TrolMaster Hub & Data Monitoring Throughout the week, we have been closely monitoring our grow using the TrolMaster App TM+. We are displaying some of the collected data for everyone to see the details. Stay tuned as we explore this further in the next report! As always, we want to extend a huge thank you to our sponsors and the amazing community. Special thanks to Aptus, Groovebags, Cannakan, Promix, Ziggy Papers, TrolMaster, and Plagron, Zamnesia and Grow Diaries for making the Eternity Cup possible. I apprecilove the support from all sides—lovers, haters, competitors, and fellow growers. The competition continues to push us to improve, and i am thrilled to see the incredible reports from others. This is a challenging yet rewarding experience, and i couldn’t be happier to be part of it. For those following along, we invite you to check out our YouTube channel, where we upload full 4K episodes showcasing the entire journey. Some episodes are too large to be uploaded directly to Grow Diaries, so YouTube is the best place to catch everything in high definition. This marks the end of VEG, and we are officially ready to flip to FLOWER. Next week, we will dive into the TrolMaster System in action, check the data insights, and monitor how the garden adapts to the shift. Stay tuned! Back to the 1000 wt as temps here are modest for July atm. Still 1 plant not flowering like the other 2. I will be patient as it’s overall structure looks amazing. Slowly easing into the process not as much anxiety about every little thing. Changed my light out for my lower power 600 wt led instead of the 1000wt TMLAPY. Maybe not the right move i really don't know what to do b/c i have tip burn and my tent gets a bit hot in the low 80s when its in the 90s here in Illinois. I have an makeshift cooler w fan and some fans and my exhaust fan system which im pretty sure is under powered and overall and bad beginner purchase. I will upgrade as soon as i can financially afford to. Also had flooding issues in basement which is always an adventure, i eventually need a better way to get my grow tent up off the ground b/c water does get in there sometimes. Doing everything in my power to avoid mold and have fans and filters and cleaning, but again this may have been a beginner mistake and i may have to find a new home for the tent for the next time. Also I definitely had been under watering the girls and came close to one of them dying and have to remove some yellow leaves at bottom, they all look stable now. 1 out of 3 plants has a darker color and looks fuller and healthier w less tip burn but it is shorter only has a couple of hairs where the other 2 are going full on into flowering with so many hairs and growing much taller. Possibly stunted the growth... Anyway the word of the day for this week is TIP BURN. I will submit a question to follow. i recently uploaded a video that should show all 3 plants w the tip burn.
